FFXIV Pre-Launch Event in Japan

I'm actually expecting it to be somewhat similar to Ballista in FFXI, that was quite fun.

What was Ballista like? I didn't play Xi. I've heard rumors of an instances arena type event.

Think basketball where you can kill each other and you wouldn't be far wrong.

I am excited about all this really, expect for the PVP thing. I am not fond of PVP and never have been. However so long as the PVP stays in mini-game events like Bastilla, and they make it into fun tournament matches where it can be done by choice-- not by force..

I will be a very happy camper.

 

Though I have to shake my fist the fact they are making more hairstyles.

What they havn't told you is it'll cost you a million gil!

 

But yeah, I can see myself making use of that feature all the time ;_;

I agree I love this feature. This allows characters to age and change as time goes by. I can start with short hair leave on adventuring then come back with long hair and a beard.
