Moving to my new home

Hello all, I will soon be moving over to Balmung; I am looking to meet a group of Heavy RPers, I have enough of the real world when I am wandering around in it, I want my FF14 experience to be fully realized!

 

 Does anyone know of a group that would be supportive to a non MMORPGer looking for this type of free company.

 

 I still find myself being ridiculed for not knowing every abbreviation known to man (or woman) so a group with patience would also help

I would recommend the Harbingers of the Dawn. They're on the Linkshell page, they're often IC and have scheduled events for both RP and gameplay going on; but they all are fantastic players who are patient and a lot of fun. No one there will give you a hard time about jargon or anything. 

 

When I played on Balmung, that was the FC I was with and I really enjoyed playing and RPing with them.

I tend not to recommend FCs or IC groups since their each very nuanced communities with their own habits and trends, but I will say the HoD is a group i've seen get traction with many people and all my interactions with their members have been positive!

 

Not having much experience in MMOs is totally okay, and its unfortunate you're getting a hassle for it, the industry needs new people! fresh eyes and willing minds! But anyroad I have a few links i'd like to share with you that will hopefully help you get your feet wet with both the community and RP in Eorzea.

Want to know where people are, what they're up to and if you can join in? this is a great place to find out! Heck even if you're a little shyer or prefer just to listen you'll catch plenty of interesting information here that will help you get to know the people you meet out in the world.

"Balmungs Finest" is all about the PVE, Dungeons, Primals, Raids. If you need a group to slog through some content with this is a great place to start. Unsatisfied with Duty Finders telling you to rush through stuff on your first time? want to farm a dungeon for some gear? this is a great place to start!

 

Hope I haven't bored you to tears, please remember that the RPC is here to help. Ask all sorts of questions, poke around the forums, maybe throw together a character wiki, theres lots to do and plenty of people to meet!

Welcome! I'm considering getting a server transfer myself. Gilgamesh is labeled as the secondary rp server but I'm not particularly fond of having to turn over very large heavy rocks to find it haha More of a random encounter and sometimes 'plan to meet' rp'er myself
