Jace and his brothers

I have been meaning to make up backstories for all the missing brothers in Jace's family. I've begun to do some work and sharing it on Tumblr, but, I also decided it might be cool to share with you guys.

 

A little backstory about the backstory: Kami'ya Jaan is Jace Hunter, but, since he grew up with Hyur, he was renamed Jace. As Keeper lore tells us, "ya" is the suffix that is used for the eighth-born male in the family. Which means, Jace has seven other brothers he knows nothing about. I thought it might be cool to profile them, even if a bit vaguely.

 

I invite you all to share with me, read and enjoy these short anecdotes about each brother as I present them. Each brother will pop up on my Tumblr (linked below) each day over the next 7 days. Today's brother of course, is Kami'a, the first born male in the family.

Day 3, Kami'li Jaan!

 

I thought this one was the most fun to think up, and I actually find Kami'li is an interesting concept.

Interesting so far.

I just want to say, if you didnt know, Miqo'te males are rare.

That there are 8 brothers should be impossible for as rare as they are, assuming they have the same mom.

Of course, I'm a real nit picker with lore.

Ahh, yes, I'm aware.

Although, I wasn't as aware when I picked the name! haha

Despite that, I did think that the 8 brothers are just a response to the mother-- Kami Jaan-- wanting a girl, though, clearly never getting one.

I guess we are the one of few Keeper-families who got this very rare occurrence!

As posted above, we start seeing some more Seeker-ish traits in the brothers as Kami Jaan decides to try and find a new mate to bear her a daughter. Kami'ra, Kami'ir, and Kami'wo, as well as Kami'ya or "Jace", are all born of this Nunh.

I felt bad writing this one, but, I felt that there were no real defined endings for anyone, death or otherwise.
