Val Posted October 11, 2014 Share #76 Posted October 11, 2014 "Th'only whore I see in 'ere's th'one walkin' out," Val quipped back with that cocky grin on his lips. "Hey, big guy. How much y'gotta pay 'im t'shove that axe'f yers up 'is ass?" As of which axe he referred to would be left up to those around. "D'ya gotta use any lube?" The Seeker gave pause to look from the armored man to Eristan. "....Naaaah. Looks pretty loose. M'sure y'can just slide it right on in." His right hand lifted to give a mock salute, touching the tip of his fingers to his forehead before waving them off. "You two have fun, an' be sure t'clean up after." 1 Link to comment
DreamedReality Posted October 12, 2014 Author Share #77 Posted October 12, 2014 Eristan seems to barely pay Val's trailing insults any mind, saying offhandedly as he exits the building, "Would seem this Harbinger's of the Dawn is simply another pack of inbred rabble." He steps through the threshold, "Don't feel too bad, Lady Faye, for lacking the mind and ability to properly train them." The Roe on the other hand seemed much less dismissive of the whole affair and seemed to seriously question whether or not if he was going to come back over to pound Val's face in. However, whether it was the gil the smaller man provided or the fact that he was outnumbered and not a complete idiot he too exits out into the late afternoon sun. Jaques for his part simply watches them leave in silence before taking a deep breath, letting it out slowly. His patience all but expended he tries to scrap whatever he had left together. Trying to focus on that shallow bit of victory. S'kyla had decided to stay here and not leave with the prick. That had to count for something... despite the fact that Eristan was going to continually be an irritating thorn in his side it seemed. Once he feels he could speak without snapping at anyone else, he says offhandedly, "As you can tell... We have lost popularity in Ul'dah since closing the brothel." He turns as the front door closes, to make his way up the stairs at last. Link to comment
Kyatai Posted October 13, 2014 Share #78 Posted October 13, 2014 The young Duskwight male remained still, waiting. The two before him were leaving, though he could tell the Roe didn't want to. Not yet. Not before crushing the aggressive Miqo'te taunting he and his Master. He smirked faintly, angling his head to the side. But no, he was well trained... he grunted, growled... but ultimately followed the Lalafell noble out of the doors. He slowly straightened, letting out a soft sigh, feeling some of the tenseness in his body ease, then turned on his heel and retraced his steps back to the small sitting area without a backwards look. ________ Chiane let out a sigh as the Roe's massive body exited the Rose, wondering once more where in the seven hells Remioux had been. She let out an irritated snort, glancing over at the young male as he eased his stance. She frowned slightly as he turned, watching as his hands drifted outward several ilms, his fingers extended slightly, head remaining angled to the side... but otherwise confident in his stride. She glanced back up at Jaques as he tried to refocus the tour after the 'excitement.' She could tell by his tone that he was mortified, angry and a bit worried that this display by Eristan had crushed all hopes of aide by the Lady Faye. But... as she saw him turn and resume his trek upstairs, it seemed neither of their guests had been put off at all. In fact, by the look in Val's eye, he rather enjoyed it. She smirked, moving to follow the group upstairs, glancing back only once at the doorway to the sitting area in which the young Duskwight had disappeared. Link to comment
Faye Posted October 20, 2014 Share #79 Posted October 20, 2014 Faye simply watched in silence as Eristan made his leave, waiting until he was just barely out of earshot to turn to Val and breathe a mocking, woeful sigh. "He's right, awful lot you all are. If only I could train you to keep quiet," she mused, blue eyes dancing with mischief. At Jaques' words, she peered up at him, waving one hand dismissively. "Children are belligerent when you take their toys away." Her eyes trailed off to watch the young, unfamiliar Duskwight walk away. She had assumed he was only another member of the household who had yet to be introduced, but as she took note that the others gave him the same curious glances as her, she started to feel as if that wasn't quite the case. DreamedReality Posted October 21, 2014 Author Share #80 Posted October 21, 2014 Jaques heads past the first landing, the hallway filled with ex-slaves talking quietly and solemnly to each other as the conclusion of the latest display becomes hot topic. At the second and final landing he turns down the hallway, which is much quieter then the floor below. He opens one of the doors partway down and enters to turn on a light. Once others had caught up he motions around the room. "This is what any who seek sanctuary receive. We aren't nearly at full capacity so there is no need for anyone to share rooms." The windowless room held a double bed with bright coloured bedding, a desk, a dresser, an end table, and an area that had the screen pulled back to show the watercloset. "It's a bit bare but whoever uses the room can decorate and fill it with the personal touches they like. Those who were born and were made to work here have very fine and richly decorated rooms. And they probably don't yet realize the wealth they actually have there. Most of it gifts from past patrons I'd imagine." He pauses, letting Faye glance around. "And that is everything really. Is there anything further you'd like to see? Or perhaps you'd talk with the instructors or our charges?" Link to comment
