I'm not exactly new to the game; I've been playing on my main character on Ultros (despite being EU based, got my gaming group to thank for that) for about a year. But I've felt like getting involved in a new community, and I've been interested in RPing in an MMO setting. I haven't RPed in a game before, really, but I guess I could call myself a veteran RPer. I haven't RPed in over a year, and this seems like a fresh way to get back into it. I'm Adelaide Foss on Gilgamesh. Figured signing up for Gilgamesh would put me among fresher faces, which seems apt (also Balmung changed to restricted halfway through character creation). So yeah, we'll see how this goes. I can't speak much to Gilgamesh since I'm not on that server but here's to hoping someone scoops you up! I've heard there's not as much open-RP on Gilga compared to Balmung so you sort of need someone to help you get your foot in the door to find the communities there. Don't hurt me, Gilgameshians! I might recommend starting at this link in case you find a linkshell that sounds like a good match for you. I'll also point out that Balmung's server is usually open to new characters right around this time and a bit earlier in the mornings, so if you're at home... Link to comment

Sellswords is the IC one, and Adventurer's Guild is the OOC. A number of FCs also have IC linkshells for their members, and those are often open to allies/friends as well. Adolar Stone is a good person to look for, as is E'kayah Nunh. Link to comment
