Warren Castille Posted February 18, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2015 This is something I'm curious about: When scheduling an event on the Calendar, clicking the "recurring event" button doesn't actually make the event recur on the calender. Is that just an FYI thing, so people know it returns? Or is it supposed to actually repeat itself on the calendar? I've just been editing the Grindstone's dates to keep it in the coming events block, but if this is something not Working As Intended © I wanted to bring it to light. Link to comment
Kage Posted February 18, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 18, 2015 So I made a test for myself so it was private. Adjust your Finish time. Make the year like 2018. Link to comment
Warren Castille Posted February 18, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 18, 2015 That worked. For some reason! Thanks! Link to comment
Kage Posted February 18, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 18, 2015 Whoot. I confirmed it when I checked the HoD and other Tavern nights and saw that they too had a far-off year in the future. Glad it worked out. ((It's... not very intuitive imo)) Link to comment
FreelanceWizard Posted February 18, 2015 Share #5 Posted February 18, 2015 Yeah, the calendar interface is a little weird. When you set an event as repeating, the "end date" -- which normally means when the event ends -- turns into "when the repeat ends." It's working as intended according to the MyBB developers, even if it's entirely strange. Link to comment
