Hello, from Gilgamesh!

Hello there!  I am CJ (Transi via nickname) and I'm fairly new to the FFXIV scene, although not so new as to be completely green.  I started playing the game when it first came out, but I had to stop, due to money and otherwise.  I've always been a very avid roleplayer on MMOs, and I was looking for people to roleplay with... but I was always too shy.

 

So, I ended up slipping and working with world of warcraft.  Well, now I'm back!  I play on the server Gilgamesh (after having stayed up for hours to make a new character), but I've been trying to get onto Balmung to no avail.  Once again however, I'm still- well stuck.  I have no RP buddies!  It would be awesome to play with people or join a linkshell that is active with RPers.  The only thing I've noticed I have trouble with is that I tend to be long winded.  I'm a Para-Rper. 

 

Either way, I'm in game on my Miqo'te Khiiva Nioben and my Lalafell Mino Malino.  I'm currently attempting to make my big dope of a Sea Wolf, Swarfarr Sykursyn.  Please don't hesitate to whisper me in game, and Please please please don't hesitate to send me a good RP Linkshell/Free Company.  I'd love to meet new people!

I'd like to see if I meet anybody from Gilgamesh first.  The only thing I've noticed is it seems to have changed from RP server to Raiding server?  I'm not much of a raider, I get my kicks through roleplay.  I hope that's not the case though.  I wanna give it a chance.

Hello, welcome to the RPC! Gilgamesh certainly does still have an RP community, though not many visit this site. Much of the active users have moved over to www.gilgamesh-rp.com

 

There's several FCs and LSs you could browse there and maybe find other people to connect with.

 

Also feel free to send a /tell to Adolar Stone ingame if you ever find me online!

Ooh, thank you kindly, I'll definitely check it out.  And, I'll be sure to send a wave and a hello your way!  I'm still getting used to the game, although I do miss WoW's in-game rp profiles, I love FFXIV more, and am really hoping to get involved in the communities.

While both Balmung and Gilgamesh are unofficial RP servers in SE's eyes, there is still room for other community types. Gilgamesh just happens to have more of a raider population thanks to the reddit FFXIV sub picking that server for their go to. Then lately the success of the FCoB raiders in their quick kills among the world's top.
