After the events that transpired during the War of the Magi, the ruthless Voidsents that were created proved too much for Eorzea to bear. What started as a band of Samurai eager to expunge the void's taint on the world has evolved through cycles to become the Oni-Kariudo. The Oni-Kariudo is a Far Eastern Private Company established within Ul'dah with the sole purpose of undertaking all things Void-related. Understood as an independent body, this group is often subcontracted to the Grand Companies and the Eorzean Alliance. With the Kagu-tsuchi acting as the force of the Company, imbued with the caring hands of their healers, the Sujin and advised by knowledgable minds of their advisors, the Kuebiko. This company tackles from a mere imp infestation to the most troublesome of Voids. The Oni-Kariudo works diligently to put down the most troublesome of creatures, whilst offering sanctuary, healing, and guidance for those who have succumb to the void's temptation. All the while offering the Public a place to indulge in the restaurant's delights.

Jacks of Eorzea is a college student friendly roleplay group. This means our activity levels during school months (August-May) are not as active as the summer months. This helps students get involved but also have the time to work on the studies. This also helps members not fall behind in roleplay that might take place in other groups all year long.

Dragalia is a trade organization founded by Lahara Laveau. The company has been serving the people of Eorzea and abroad for decades. Dragalia is known to most for it's nigh immaculate record of service and its direct link to the Laveau noble house. The company currently offers services such as networking and trade, but may also offer services such as courier service, and caravan protection, but the company is not limited to these services. Loan services are also offered to smaller businesses and individual traders, and merchants doing their dealings under the partnership of the company will receive protection and funding for their endeavors. As of now, recruitment missives branded with a peculiar draconic crest have spread across Eorzea and abroad, tipping the scales towards their well established organization. The intricately printed letters inviting like-minded people individuals for employment and companionionship, for both the company’s own benefit and theirs. The company functions primarily as a strong foundation for it's various tradespeople to expand their reach and grow their businesses, but remains it's own entity as a trade association under Eorzea’s law(s). Given the nature of the Guild, many facets of it's structure are flexible as to allow merchants, tradespeople and all others under the company to work as they see fit, so long as their methods are profitable, and the company’s investments are not wasted on fruitless endeavours. This means that the law may come into question, as long as the company stands to benefit, or to protect and safeguard one of their own. The company has always maintained a culture of camaraderie and pride, be it among the traders working under the company name or those among the company’s prestigious rankings.

With its headquarters based in the Lavender Beds, the Free Company provides a bevy of assignments while also offering lodging and offices for interested employees. Assignments include, but are not limited to: Monster hunting, supply gathering, scouting, varying schools of crafting, medical treatments, and much more. Holding affiliations with the Sawa Sanctuary & Okochi Ichizoku, we've recently begun to expand our operations in the East, offering long term assignments at the Mogsglaive Embassy House located within the Okochi sub-district of Shirogane. Lunar Rose Academy offers weekly lessons in various subjects, in addition to larger community plots and fun one-off events like field trips. We are based on Balmung, but anyone on the Crystal Datacenter can join us thanks to the world visit feature. The school is centered around the theme of adventure; the curriculum consists of activities and lessons that will prepare the students for a life of adventuring, offering practical knowledge on topics such as combat, first-aid and magic. Both the teachers and students at Lunar are players roleplaying their characters. In addition we have characters that work as school staff, for example running security. We have a free company house that serves as the school grounds, but we also often venture out to the vast world of Eorzea too! Typical roleplaying activities at Lunar Rose Academy include: * School classes following a set schedule * Student-run clubs * Casual roleplay in a school setting * School field trips and other seasonal events * Collaborations with other RP groups and communities Please keep in mind that we are a casual/plot RP community - while sometimes we will be running large plots as a guild, they will often be dealing with more down to earth threats, that is not say that you as a player cannot get involved in personal high powered plots, we wanted to give you an idea about both what kind of characters fit in the free company and what you can expect to find RP wise here. Also note that we are Lore Bendy on a case by case basis - roleplayers are super creative people and the lore of FF14 is very very rich! However sometimes to tell a good story we know lore needs to be bent a little. We encourage self starters - we run plots and events as a guild, but being proactive is encouraged. However, what we can do is place the stage and set it for you to perform on! So we encourage our members to run plots and get involved with the RP!
