One of the most influential people in Vikohla's life is her former best friend, Vanta. A thoughtful Elezen of mellow temperament, sharp wit and ghoulish humor, the two bonded over literary escapism, interest in chemistry and the quest to stave off boredom.

In addition to this the two had a morbid connection concerning the professions of their parents. Whereas Vikohla helped tend to the lab animals her parents worked with and often saw to their burial when things went wrong, Vanta's parents ran a funeral home with her father being an undertaker and her mother a mortician.

Although their sisterly friendship came to an end some of Vanta's influence on Vikohla's tastes in aesthetics and amusements still remains.
