Due to her nomadic wanderings and mischievous lifestyle Madame Pholnaset lacks a strong sense of responsibility or conscience concerning her dubious antics. In extreme cases she'll go so far as to skip town when her shenanigans catch up with her, leaving a degree of chaos in her wake. 

It's for this reason that she's created alternate guises for herself over the years, often having to start fresh somewhere far from her latest escapade until the heat dies down.
