There were times as Kathenna traveled that she would take the old, worn letters out to read. She knew them by heart now. Still, there was something comforting about them, even during the times where she felt nothing but frustration and confusion for not being able to remember the person who had written these letters to her. Somewhere inside, she felt she should love the man she'd known, but it was hard to love someone you couldn't remember that well, especially when he'd abandoned her. It was as if she were reading the life of someone else, and was unable to connect that life with her own memories, try as she might. A bleakness had stolen over her the first month this had happened, when she would revisit the letter she'd been writing to herself, pretending to be him. Him, wherever he was. The him who would never receive her messages, because suddenly he was gone from her life. She still didn't know how to feel about it. Should she mourn someone she felt she no longer knew? Should she cry over letters that spoke of deep love? As the airship made its descent into Ul'Dah to dock, she put these letters away, then twisted the small silver band about her left ring finger. It was more in homage to a memory than because she felt that tug of love she should have felt that she still wore the band. That, perhaps, was what saddened her the most. She knew she still loved this man, but there was nothing ... In a way, that broke her heart more than the realization she had lost her fiance and couldn't blame it on the Calamity.

Oooh fresh blood I don't mean that in a horrific way, I promise. It's always intriguing to find someone who is new to roleplay and see how they thrive once they get the first taste. Hi there Luze sounds like he'd be fun to butt heads with. Well, no. He sounds like he'd be a real pain in the ... tail. But that also makes for fun RP, hehe. I'm intrigued with how you've formed him out, too. As for snark, it should never, ever leave.

Ahh dang it. Well... I've hit 150K already (thank you, weaving) so I'm hoping in the next few months I can attempt it. If not, then it can sit on the back burner. It's not the most important reason to play, but I do love to decorate houses. And every game that has it, I love to jump into it. At least I'm halfway, hehe. That also means I need more time for RP! Ohmigoodness lots of info! You weren't kidding, you have gone completely in depth with this. I am liking it, too Welcome to Balmung and to the site, etc. and so on. It's super friendly on the server, which is awesome! No, really, the people are totally awesome on this server. I don't know a lot about Miqo'te myself. I'm a newbie as well. I've learned that people are willing to be forgiving about mistakes and help to correct. Though most leave it be, because it's hard to be 100% correct, unless you go superbly vague usually. But where's the fun in vague?? I do like your descriptions on features. You're rounding him out wonderfully, from what I see.

Hi there! Welcome to the wonderful world of "Okay, only going to be on game for an hour... oh crud, it's already 3 a.m.??? Where did time go??" Definitely digging your character idea. There's always trouble to be had, after all. Do you tend to do stories commonly for your characters? I always love character stories. They flesh out a persona in a way I can't otherwise do. Like tapping into them, you know?

Hi everyone and thank you so much for the welcomes I'm definitely going to be looking into the technomachine stuff once I hit the 50s for sure. I'm only at 25 now, so I have a ways to go, but that means I get to learn more about the game in the meantime! WOO! I'm heartbroken to hear that apartments are difficult to get. That means I'll have to do some underhanded things ... like crafting. I got to see my friend's apartment, he got one through his free company. I don't know that I'd want to join one just to get an apartment, as I'd really like to join a group for the camaraderie and such. That's always the best reason, lol. Maybe I can just steal his....? :evil:

Hello everyone, I'm SPNoelle, player of Kathenna Casibree the midlander on Balmung. I'm new to the game, only played FFX for a short time. A friend decided I needed to try it out and, dang it, I am actually enjoying it. It's been a while since I've really delved into RP, and this game makes me want to in the worst way. I'm still looking for ways to punish him for being right. I'm a steampunker, so the airships really get me! The outfits are kinda cool from a punker's PoV, as well. Plus, I'm excited and eager to get my hands on an apartment someday. No idea how to yet, but I'm learning the game bit by bit. If I can decorate it in copper and wood, I'm going to be gleeful as a kid. Anyway, I wanted to add my own greeting. I look forward to meeting folks in-game. Please don't mind my awkwardness, I'm slow to warm up.
