That's particularly why I have such strict standards on IC romances ; _ ; I'd very much like to prevent any bad experiences with romance if I can help it.[/align] [align=center]And even with a character who's in a romantic relationship, it's pretty disheartening to see them transform into a solely romantic figure instead of somebody a bit more well rounded; it's unrealistic to throw everything one had into a romantic relationship and the fluffier, tactile aspects of it. His name's X'vlohi Tia - or just Vlohi, since I have no idea how to pronounce the X in his name, l-lol;; He looks like a Keeper and has a Keeper name, but he's a mixbred baby ; o ; He's a grumpy guy who gets shunned by 90% of the places he goes to, so there's a lot of frustration he's got towards - well, life. Can't say he's exactly a good guy, but he's not a bad one either :'D[/align]

It's nothing specific or special, really; Ado Tado just so happens to be more active when it's night-time, as opposed to being diurnal. :'D Ado Tado was forcibly transformed from a Hyur to a Lalafell via a mockery of fantasia. His wiki tells the story of how this came to be in his history section, but that's the gist of it! And thank you so much! He is searching for a place to belong, unbeknownst to himself, while he combats his anxieties and helps a friend of his with her goals. He is especially afraid of doctors, alchemists, medication and needle-like objects - particularly syringes. I've also only gotten to Titan in the past before dropping out of XIV, so I am not as lore/game-savvy as many people here may be. As for specific locations: [/align] The Lavender Beds, the first ward. The Lavender Beds is the place that Ado Tado frequents the most. He could be found on the rooftops of houses that clearly do not belong to him. Lower La Noscea, by the windmills northeast of the Mist. The outskirts of Camp Drybone. [align=center]He can be approached at anytime, no matter what he's doing, for IC interactions! More information about this can be read in his wiki, which is linked above. The link in my signature also works![/align] [align=center]But beyond that, I'm considering tossing him into a Linkshell or Free Company that works best for his character. While I'm not looking for the absolute perfect fit to who he is and what he stands for, any Linkshell or Free Company that has any of these qualities are fair game:[/align] [align=left] The group in question is based within Gridania and/or the Lavender Beds. The group's main place of stay has a climbable roof. Not going to lie, this scores pretty high up there by an In Character standpoint. The group supports conjury, or disciplines of magic in general. The group supports Lawful Good characters. The group is free of doctors and alchemists. But let's be real: it's a lot better if Ado Tado's around doctors and alchemists. The group focuses on stopping criminal organizations, malicious practices, and corrupted networks. The group advocates stargazing and/or nocturnal activity. [align=center]Besides that, Ado Tado is open to having friends, rivals, sworn enemies, and everything and anything else. :>[/align] [align=center]I'll add more information here if I think of some. I can give Discord contact information after we've talked for a little bit. I can also be contacted through /tells on Ado Tado; /tells, in general, are considered OoC for me. (Unless your character is right next to mine and is whispering to him - in that case, please use quotation marks or some indication that the /tell is IC ; _ ; ) My timezone is EST, but I can stay up late in order to RP according to others' timezones when necessary! When it comes to response times In Character and Out of Character, I can be pretty slow. I'm not a fast typer, and I struggle to read sometimes; it takes me a couple of re-reads to understand what is happening most of the time. When it comes to Out of Character responses, I could take from an hour to a day to get back to somebody for a variety of reasons - but note that I never ignore a message sent my way, nor do I purposely ignore others! In-game, unless my status is set to "away," I respond a bit faster to /tells than anything else. I am comfortable with: All types of RPing styles - light, medium and heavy - and writing styles ranging from a third person perspective with long responses, to quick sentences and descriptions. I am getting used to RPing in an MMO setting, so woo hoo for that! \o/ My characters getting into combat and getting injured. Unless my character is given explicit permission to do something - such as letting them heal another character, or hurt them, or otherwise - I will always have them "attempt" to perform an action. The same goes for the effectiveness of their actions; my character could cast Cure on another, but the effectiveness of their spell will be dependent upon the healed's decision or permission. I will never assume that the actions my characters take will guarantee to go as they planned unless /random dicerolling dictates otherwise. I really want to: Find friends for Ado Tado and (when the time comes) X'vlohi Tia. Rivals and sworn enemies are great, too >:0 Please ask me about: Permanent injury. Long-term captivity. Healing Ado Tado through means that aren't through conjury*. Going steady with my characters. Please read my notes on In Character romance below. Killing my characters. ERP outside of the game... but even then, I will absolutely not condone anything Not Safe For Work around my characters unless it's relevant to them somehow - and that will be very rare. Don't come to me expecting anything steamier than a lukewarm batch of cinnamon rolls. * Ado Tado can, and very likely will, react negatively and even aggressively if he is healed with medicine or potions. For the sake of preventing confusion OoC, I will PM/ /tell people who try to use such means on him beforehand - but in the event that people want to try and heal him anyhow, I've at least said my piece. I'm all for distressed characters - not so much RPers. I will not: Let In Character romances happen immediately. Please read my notes on In Character romance below. ERP in-game. Hurt, maim, or kill other characters without explicit permission beforehand. RP anything related to self-harm, explicit gore, or hangings - as these things make me uncomfortable to the point of becoming anxious and unable to function.

Or even if you don't, you'll still have the characters there to fantasia/name-change/whatever should the inspiration hit you. And you won't have to pay the transfer fee again. Oh! I had no idea that world transfers worked that way! Unfortunately, the bulk of my characters are in a server separate from my main character's, and he's the only character I have in Mateus ; _ ; If anything, I can create a few alts in Mateus, wait a few more days, and then transfer everybody into Balmung at the same time. Eep ><;; Thank you guys very much for the heads-up, though!! I think I'll work on cleaning up my character's page on the Wiki and try to play through the game while I get a few alts going.

Hi hi! I'm Cin - feel free to call me Darlingist or anything else, really! - and I'm a returning player to FFXIV. I love Final Fantasy, and FFXIV has to be my favorite game from this series - right next to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2. :'D I didn't get all that far into XIV in the past, admittedly; I had beaten Titan and got spooked out of playing for a good while (being a nervous, newbie healer in a complex fight like Titan while playing with particularly angry players is an intimidating experience) but I'd really like to give this game another try! I had a lot of fun doing light RPs with some friends and slowly chipping away at the game's plot in the past, and I'm really looking forward to doing something like that again. I have ten years' worth of RP experience, with said experience ranging from LARPing, DnD-esque RPing utilizing similar mechanics, Tumblr RPing and forum RPing. I have no idea how RPing in an MMO works beyond light(/crack) RPs over Discord calls, so I'm very excited to see how heavier RPs in XIV works out. I have like... a lot of Lalafell characters-- but as of now, only one of them feels RP appropriate :'D He's currently in Mateus, but he'll be transferred into Balmung once three days have passed. Other than that!! I major in animation, and I love drawing and working with images. (My icon's an ooold Moogle OC I drew a long tome ago, and I made a temporary signature featuring my current FFXIV muse! I'd really like to make a better icon and signature once I have access to Photoshop; as of current, I'm stuck working with Clip Studio Paint.) Writing and RPing are my favorite hobbies - RPing, especially, feels like a fantastic way to develop and improve my writing and characters and meet amazing people.
