Target..? Mine friend got hers there and said they had like 10 copies.

Sadly the only way I've seen new character to be made is right after maintenance but you have to be fast, my friend just barely got her character made when the game came out of maintenance last night, I logged in 2 mins after she did, and there was a que already. Eve isn't one big server though, they have hundreds and hundreds of instances supported by multiple servers, also they have more then one world now. I think it's like 5 Worlds? If one gets full or unbalanced they stuff you in another.

That's a little unfair to SE. The problem isn't because they messed up. The problem is because they did so well. The game has more people logging in than they estimated. That's why everything's full and backed up. They're now adding more space to compensate for the overwhelming numbers of players logging in. Yeah, this isn't a little unfair, this is EXTREMELY unfair. I don't think a lot of people consider what actually goes into making and handling an MMO. There's a lot more that goes into it than do or not do. 1.0 failed horribly. It would have been a terrible decision to make all this extra room for people to place when the numbers from 1.0 showed that there weren't that many people interested in actually paying to play. And before anyone jumps on "but a lot of people played beta!", that happens for every MMO, because it's a free time to test out the game without any money needed. Tons of people change their tune when it comes around to actually forking out cash. People playing in beta does not guarantee live subscriptions. SE did nothing wrong here. They were just unprepared to have so many people interested in this game, and I really wish this mentality that Square "fucked up" would just up and die already. Agree'd. There are so many aspects for them to take in for server they kind of had to guess what they needed. Who knows what amount of people from 1.0 would return, as well as new players, player getting their friends to join. There isn't an efficient way of estimating population.

Hello! Always good to see people returning to RP even after retiring or taking a break. Hope FFXIV fill in the RP you've had before :3

It's not declared but there is a group on Moogle whom are rping there either till more people join them or waiting for Bal or Gila to open up.

I've always wanted to have good RP session on Skype though I have only once, I think it has great potential.

-Ears tilted up as she glanced at their faces, she hesitated a moment. Then her frame rose to her feet and she bowed with her arm across her chest. "Z'r..." She shook her head and rose her spine to align, a faint pinkness under her cheeks. "Rue Lavant." She found the word fitting of herself as she decided it was best to discard her old tribal name since she was no long apart of it. Her tail swayed as she offered the now empty cup back to Lucy.
-
-Lightly took the cup and blinked down into it. She was careful, but hence was the life of the desert. She sniffed the contents before lightly taking a drinking savoring the water down her throat. She nodded her head to Lucy and kept her politeness going. "Thank you." Her tail coiled around her as she glanced up to Kayle, she thought himself was quite the lucky charm as well, he was so friendly it was amazing he was still alive. She glanced then towards Desmond, her eyes watching he newly healed arm. She was nervous about it hoping he wouldn't re-break it easily.-

Their both about the same when it comes to established I think. I've been new to both and found rp actually easily in both as well.

-Nodded in agreement, letting a faint smile break the near emotionless mask she bore. She glanced at the joining of the Archer and his beast then the leave of the other Miqo'te. Her ears twitched listening to the conversations. She raised her oddity irises up at Kayle's chest raising her hand to finish the gash he had received. Her usual silence finding her throat, as her fingertips glowed at Kayle's chest. But her concentration was broken before she could even start with the chatter. Her ears turned towards the sounds and greeting before her head did. She titled her head slightly, that was quite friendly. She blinked unsure how to respond. She raised a hand above her head and waved in return. Her bangs hiding her silvery iris under her bangs of her right eye.-

I'll have to stop by :3

-Raised her head as she set to work carefully mending his arm as she had to realign it. Her tail swayed behind her along the ground as she progressed in thoughts of lingering magic to heal his arm. It didn't take to terribly long, her arm wiped her brow as she sat back on her knees and gestured over Desmond's arm, "How is it now?" She looked up behind her at the others glancing them over for anything else she may have needed to tend to. Her ears tilted back slightly as she seemed a bit more at ease, showing both of her eyes freely from under her bangs.- "Everyone else okay?"

Restart your Client thats what mine did to me too

-She felt useless against in the fight so weak from all the spells, then it hit her. She had that nasty ether. She pulled out the bright yellow vile and chuged the contents down, it made her tail spazz out and the fur prickled along it as she made a disgusted face. She tossed the vile aside as she felt the liquid course through her veins, but she gasped seeing Desmond lifted to his neck. As soon as he hit the ground she dashed over to him. "Sir? C-can you hear me?" She noted that only knew a few of their named from other introductions. Never personally. Swiftly her face lowering to his chest as her right ear lifted to listen for his breath and heart beat. Her cheek rested very lightly on his chest. Her eyes looked up inspecting his neck. She would listen closely, ready to act if he wasn't breathing. Hoping his neck wasn't to harmed in the fight. She couldn't heal if she didn't know what was wrong, her feared any pain relief spell would only effect his breathing further so she had to wait.-

-Was circling back down from the ridge when the light emitted from Kayle. She covered her eyes and shook her head seeing him running. Her ears tilted forward as their were just out of reach to cast any spells. She felt an odd ting as she darted forward, was this what it was to worry about others well being. Her ears fell back as she leaped over bodies and ran towards Desmond and Kayle. She moved swiftly between fallen tents and over dead fire pits. She stopped to Desmond first knowing his arm could possibly been broken from the hit. Her breath pulled at her chest as she looked him over, her fingers touching his upper arm and light spiraled down along it. Her right eye glinted as she cast the minor healing spell. "Hurry, it'll only hold for the moment. I'll have to patch it up better later." She spook swiftly as she looked up at Kayle, remembering he had taken a hit earlier. She felt the drain on herself from loss of mana. Even though minor the spell for Desmond was great toll, there was no way she could pull of any large spell. And with the loss of breath didn't help either. She hoped the spell on Desmond would allow some hold on it for minor use without harming himself further. She would help him to his feet, before turning towards Kayle and the large Roegadyn. It was the last of her mana energy, she focused and the light around her glimmered, she thrusted her hand out before her the light spilling from her fingers and vanishing. Then reappearing right before Kayle, sinking into his chest. He'd fell a bit more energized and the pain from his wound would have ceased and partial healed. She nearly crumpled but forced herself to stay standing. She'd follow Desmond lead after the spell. She closed her right eye sharply covering it with her hand.-

Plenty of fruit and apple juice.

-Moved silently, never making a sound as she watched from above. She did not seemed grimaced by the scene below. But a small tug of pity. She actually hesitated on casting spell as she circled the camp moving away from the ridge, since well... A flare of light wasn't the best cover. She rested on her left knee crouched down as she singled out the already uproaring male. Her thin fingers released a spell then just as an axe was being swung down from behind but made an odd warped clang as it hit a dome that temporary surrounded S'demyx. Then something caught the corner of her eye, just below the ridge. A flicker of flame baring out of what looked like a mage. She darted towards it, already gathering the spell in her mind. But with the rush she couldn't focus and dim down the light it would create. The spiral of light slammed into the mage silencing them for the time being. Hopefully they lacked Echo Drops. But she dropped down again, skirting the camp keeping a careful eye out for the others with occasional spells. Trying to keep on the move if any where to circle up towards her.-

-Had resettled herself back on the rock she has sat on before. Her finger packing the staff back into the rather small pack. Magic had it's good uses when it came to storing. She looked up as she re-shoulder the small pack. Glancing past the group she let her eye linger over the horizon admiring the last bit of color fading into the night. She glanced back though her ears remained towards the group. Her chocobo peered from a brush and walked over to her, her small hand reached up and ruffled his chest feathering in which he walked to stand behind her. Finding unease at Braxas. She kept quite as another joined the group, she rubbed the back of her head thinking what an odd group they where becoming.-

-Found her name pulling her from her lost in thought face and looked up towards Xha'li, then slowly nodded. Her tail curled shyly around her legs as she sat there. "Aye." Her ears tilted forward slightly as she wasn't used to converting with people outside of her tribe. She tilted her head slightly. Though she had never seen a Keep before she noted his feature being different from other Miqo'te she seen before. "Are you a Keeper?"

I was really hoping for Friday TT-TT Hope everyone enjoys the event still. How long is it planned to be though? Maybe possibly past 12 pm EST?
-
-Rose to her feet, keeping back slightly as her ears tilted forward to listen. Her chocobo had already fled back away from the group as the tiny female Miqo'te seemed to be readying herself. She had grown up in the desert, and knew a bit of fighting herself. She pulled her pack off and reached in pulling out a long staff, it was decorated with dark green gems. She looked up towards the men before her as she stood with it. She exhaled, more out of focus and seriousness that crossed her face. Her bangs moved from her face a split second and her right eye was a solid silver tone iris vs her aqua left one. Her bangs fell back over her eyes as she nodded in her ready state. She had to prove her worth.-
-
-Walked a bit away, her ears turning to listen as she looked out across the water. Of course from the safety of inner ship. Her hands carefully placed her axe along her back. Keeping her hands free, and her tail always seemed to tick for balance. She felt the saunter of green leaving her cheeks as she settled to stand against a wall, and admiring the beauty of the water. Her mind seemed to wonder and distract from the fear that ebbed at the back of the small Miqo'te's mind. Her armor fell silent with the lack of her movement, as she found a bit of peace for that moment. Her fingers where before her still holding onto her satchel where she had just barely managed to stuff her pouch into.-
-
-She remained silent all the same for quite awhile to hear out Kayle responses as she noticed a small cut, but her thought interrupted as the vile appeared before her face. She did in fact hesitate but lightly grasped it with her fingertips. Her mine wondered, "Why would I need this?" Then it came to her realization, they knew nothing of her but her chocobo's name. She placed it on the thin leather belt holding her linen skirt to her hip, it was lined with small straps it seemed for several uses. She looked up toward Desmond, he would read her face as her right eye even hidden under her bangs. That she was hesitating with the haze of disapproval coming from the male counterpart. Then her gaze looked down at the chocobo as if shamed. Then with a gasp she raised his face to tilt toward her. A small cut was on his jaw. She raised her right hand slightly. Then a small white light glowed softly under her fingertips, tilting her hands so it kept to a soft glow and didn't brighten. She traced her fingertips along the small wound healing it. Smiling softly to her bird she pet where the small cut was. He cooed softly and laid his head next to her lap as if to sleep. But it proved that she could in fact heal.-
-
-Stared towards Desmond a moment telling her that she couldn't leave. But with the sun settling behind her, she glanced back. She'd rather spend the evening with company then alone with all the creepy crawlies of the night. Nodding merely, though she glared at the other Miqo'te after being called defenseless. Little did he know she had tricks up her, well even with the lack of sleeves. Tricks. Just like her sensitive ears that rotated to even the smallest sound, when she wasn't distracted that is. She followed Kayle then towards his own chocobo taking the stinky veggies into her hands. She looked over to her own chocobo whom follow near yet and placed it's jaw on top of her head. Which looked rather silly. She closed her eyes a moment before pushing his jaw up and offering the vegetation to the large bird who gobbled them down and swooned soon after and remained close now the sun had fell. "Yes, he is young. I've had him since he was a egg. He just isn't keen on being riden..." She remained somewhat silent as they settled along the oasis's edge, her tail coiling around her skirted legs as she did not reject the offer of fish. She held it before taking a bite while he spoke. Her ear shifted upwards as she seemed interested in what he was saying, but tilted when he was finished as if to think of what to say, "Oh... His name is Firefly." She finished her bit of fish before finding her lap now filled with the head of her chocobo as she lightly ran her fingers over his feather tuff. Then down over his crown and down his neck, till his large dark eyes closed to fall at ease. She felt her ears tilt back as she looked towards Kayle whom been so kind so far as she spook with a soft and nearly quite tone. Finally offering a very small smile.- "Thank you for your generosity."
