  1. Not a problem. In a thread like this, it doesn't really matter how far and in-between the posts are. ^^
  2. I love that 'WTF' look on her face, lol.
  3. Patch Notes (2010.10.14.0000) [*] Market wards have been modified as follows: [*] Wards are now assigned specific item categories. [*] Items corresponding to a wardâs item category will receive lower tax rates than items that do not correspond to the category. [*] For an example of the new ward names and item categories, please visit the following page: (example here)[/list:u] [*] Targeting and selecting a retainer will automatically open their Bazaar. [*] The party bonus system (which awards bonus skill points for battles fought in a party) has been changed so that the bonus is awarded based on the number of fellow party members in the same area who are within the appropriate skill rank range, not simply the total number of party members. [*] The party bonus system awards more points when there are more party members within the appropriate skill rank range. [*] In this case, âappropriate skill rank rangeâ means a skill rank no more than five ranks lower or higher than your own.[/list:u] [*] The maximum numbers of crystals and shards each character and retainer is capable of carrying have been changed to 9,999. [*] With the maximun numbers of crystals and shards that can be transferred at one time through trade and bazaar will remain as 999. [*] This is a temporary measure and crystals or shards obtained in excess of this amount will automatically be discarded. The system is undergoing a fundamental redesign and adjustments will continue to be made. [*] Caution on numbers that can be traded at one time through trade and bazaar has been added at around 2:50 PDT on Oct. 15, 2010. NPC display priority has been modified. This will ensure that important NPCs, such as Baderon, are displayed first.[/list:u] [*] An issue where the retainer would not appear when summoned with the Summoning Bell has been fixed. [*] An issue where the retainer would be visible to other players when summoned with the bell has been fixed. [*] An issue where text commands could be used to equip items that the player should not have been able to equip has been fixed.[/list:u]
  4. I approve of your art skillz! :approve:
  5. On the flip side, maybe we should have a list of crafters that can be trusted? That way, it has a much more positive spin on it.
  6. In XI, anytime a got a hold of a crafter, all they would want is for me to buy the ingredients. If it HQ'd, I wouldn't get charged more. Even if it was a NQ, the crafter wouldn't ever ask for gil, however, I did always tip my crafters for the time they took to help me out.
  7. I've already put up 'some' canon stuff on the wiki that you can check out. I find that Eorzeapedia is really useful in getting ideas for formats, as the coding is very similar to our wiki. If you're around later tonight, we can talk about more wiki stuff.
  8. I'm very impressed with your style. I'd love to see some more XIV related work. ^.^
  9. Great job on the facial hair. Overall fantastic as usual. ^.^
  10. IMO, if they were going to make XIV so much more console friendly and less PC friendly......they probably should have released the game on the console first.....or at least at the same time. The fact that PC gamers are left with a console friendly MMO makes it understandable when they are frustrated with many of the features. I'm still confident that by March, things will be going in the right direction.
  11. Courtesy of FF14News SE has posted some details about how the Battle Regiem system works. It goes into different combinations of attacks and what effects they cause on the target. For incapacitation, they talk about different weapons skills and what part of the body the skill will do damage to. As well, it lists what monster types have those body parts to do damage on. Check out the link above for details on Battle Regimes and Incapacitation
  12. As to what to do about the NPCs, how you explained that made my brain very tired, but I can say that I love having a database of NPCs as well as sometimes I like to institute some insiginificant NPCs to my character's RP storyline (in a very insignificant way of course, so as to avoid bending canon). As for the Edit links, yea those are the ones I was talking about. Also, I run a max resolution myself. I like how small they are on the Virtueverse page if that gives you a better idea?
  13. Hey FreeLance, is there anyway to make the 'Edit' links on the sides of the page a little smaller so they are less intrusive? Also, every time I make a 'thumb' of a picture, I get this white border around the image. Anyway this can be fixed? Also, just want to add that what you've done is fantastic. I love the Wiki the page.
  14. The creators of the FFXI AH website have created this site for XIV FFXIVPRO
  15. From what I've been told, it's still getting prepped.
  16. Yes, the Infobox is definitely made of win. Although, if it had room for a few more lines of info, that'd be pretty cool too
  17. I'm always a fan of all the podcast episodes. When is the IC one supposed to come out? Also, to add for Poison, I haven't had any trouble on my end getting it to update on itunes. Don't know what it isn't working for you
  18. I basically went with the same, but tweaked it a little so to make sure I included everything that I wanted from my character profile. If you want to bounce off that, you can always check my page.
  19. I've not only added my IC and OOC data for myself, but I've added little tidbits from the Library on some of the categories that Brin falls under 'botanist, carpentry, lancer, etc' Also got the Crimson Blades page started up, which made me think of a question for you FreeLance. Is it possible for a template to be created that accomidates linkshells? Something where we could have the member list all under the template?
