Decided to take a trip to Costa to get away from the cold air of Limsa for awhile.

That was certainly great. Sorry I didn't take any screenshots while I was there, I was too busy interacting with people Rose knew or meeting new ones to snap any shots. Maybe next time I'll grab a few if I spot a lull in the chat.

Thankfully the LS was full at the time those occurred.

That was a great time, I certainly enjoyed the mystery. It was good luck Ace Attorney 5 released on the 24th so my investigative skills were at their sharpest. I don't know if you'll ever do another mystery, but perhaps something with a little more challenge would be fun. I understand that not everyone can keep up with it and I'll admit, I lost sight of our ghost host when we were getting the witness line-up so when I found the goofy specter the actual culprit's testimony had already past so I had to catch it through questioning afterward. I can see why you wanted the suspects to stay in their places, but perhaps next time you can have them in closer relation to each other or just have them rounded up together and they can walk people over to where they were. I was surprised by the turn out, there was definitely a confusing amount of people in the room. Thankfully, the mystery was easy enough that having that many people there all voicing their questions didn't cause much confusion.

I suppose I can see that happening. I enjoy seeing lore based names and there are a few where I've actually looked up what they meant, but I can see why others would just walk right past as if they were ignoring a player with a joke name. I was debating whether I would make a Sea wolf or Hellsguard because of the name and even then I continued to debate whether my Hellsguard would be one of the few who still followed the traditional naming convention. Her name was originally going to be Elilgeim Hastloefwyn. Her name, to save readers a trip to the Roe dictionary is Foreign Jewel, daughter of Hazel leaf. Elilgeim, I see is one of the few names that still somewhat resembles a basic name. Other choices were Rhetiwyda and Rhotgotha. Those names while holding the tradition, seem to stretch the conventions as much as possible while still being something that could be sounded out.

Really wish ps3 could take images. Maybe one day, but that's for another topic. I absolutely adore the Roegadyn! To me a Roe with proper time taken into her creation can look drop dead gorgeous! I haven't seen a single ugly Roe!

I saw several My little Pony names. Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Lyra Heartstrings, Pip Squeak, and Some Pony. I also saw a Moe Lester, Porsche Monkey, Destroy Optimus, and Anita Bonghit. On-topic: I had fun in Gilga. I rarely saw any real squabbles in shout and I had a good time RP'ing there. Luck of the draw, I suppose.

Agreed, there was something satisfying about hearing an axe *Thwack* against a tree on a successful strike!

I too, have been enjoying crafting, I haven't made as much progress in it as I did in the previous phase, but that's because I'm dabbling into several crafts instead of just one and looking for that one special craft that I like above the others. Now about fishing, I will say the most fun I have with fishing is roaming to high level areas and gorgeous vistas and seeing what new fish I might catch. The actual process of fishing I could care less about, I just like getting to some new area, seeing water, and immediately thinking "Wonder what I'll catch?!" as I cast my lure. Depending on whether it's another anchovy or an actual new fish will determine whether my mood stays chipper or not.

Sweet Jupiter Jazz Hands! That's astounding, I wish I could say I got as far with my cooking, having to stop and go find a particular fish really hampered my crafting progress.

I'm sorry to hear not everyone was able to make it. It's a shame them bugs had to ruin the fun. That said, to those of us who were there, it was a darn good time getting to meet you all! I'll see ya's at the next event!

It was a nice little helper with picking Roegadyn combinations that rolled off the tongue without butchering the name's meaning. I now have several written down for both traditional and modern combinations depending on whether I go Sea wolf or Hellsguard.

When the other members mention RP experience, it's not just limited to MMOs. I myself have never RP'd in an MMO before ARR. That said, I've done several forum based RPs. It is simply what experience have you had with roleplaying in general. Whether it be from MMO's, D&D, forums, or any others. As for character ideas, there are many awesome people around here who would be more than happy to help you hammer out every little detail on your character.
