Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again, where love didn’t yet bloom on the battlefield and you have overwhelming devotion to pour upon a certain special someone. What’s that? You don’t know who that special someone is? Don’t worry! We can figure that out together. Tepe’s Treasures Presents: Valentiones Vixens! This Saturday and Sunday we’re hosting our 5th annual auction events! A perfect opportunity to name your price for the perfect guy or gal’ for whatever your heart desires! Want your house to look perfect to take your next date to? We’ve got a girl for you! Need someone who can do some divine cooking RP? We’ve got a guy who can help with that. How about someone who’s eager to rock your entire world? We've probably got a bard who can play a righteous lute for you! The best part is… these girls and guys normally go for at least thrice what they usually cost on any other normal day! Because what’s cooler than buying romance? Flashing your cash in front of the rest of the server to remind them you’re too rich to have to suffer loneliness! What’s cooler than leaving with a choice hottie on either arm? Nothing that’s what! (Completely unbiased by the way *cough*, that’s just cool!) Saturday the 16th at 6-8PM PDT. Sunday the 17th at 2-4PM PDT. (For all you EU folks out there that starts at 10PM GMT) We look forward to seeing you! If you’re looking to buy, or to just hang out! We don’t discriminate, old and new RPers are always welcome. (If you have any questions feel free to direct them to me anytime, Tepe#0795 or message me directly on Role-Players Coalition's PM system!)
  2. I like to think so! I'm not on here very often, but I'm still working in the interests of Hyperion and beyond!

Introducing a <Tepe>'s Treasures original event, a All Saint's Wake Murder Mystery! (The Madame has been murdered... again!) An RP based event wherein you -- yes you! -- get to involve yourself in a murder mystery! Limited to 5 Suspects, and a mysterious inspector, it’s up to you to investigate clues, cross examine suspects, and figure out who did it! Without further ado! Here are the suspects! (I may update their images with a proper dossier before the event. If so I'll make mention of this at the start of the event and before we begin, to give time to briefly review them.) This year we're featuring 5 unique suspects, and the illustrious Inspector Aera reprising her role again! It's up to you to help her by finding clues, cross examining suspects and piecing together the mystery. (After all, how can the inspector possibly have time doing real investigative work when there's so many guests to entertain!) The 5 suspects include employees of the Manor’s staff, and all of them have more than enough reason to do it! However, only one gets to claim the gory glory! In reward for your dutiful efforts in bringing this murderer to justice a modest reward is being offered to those who can come up with the solution! The prizes include 2 Fantasia, FREE Artwork from our very own Mahina (The very same artist who did this wonderful artwork.) or a portion of the estate's coffers to tune of 5 Million gil! Grand prize winner gets first pick of the three, and those who follow in your footsteps get your leftover scraps! Get a stout liqueur and your best brain food because it’s a race against your fellow guests! The grand prize going to the first who’d made an honest guess, but beware of blindly guessing as we're going by clue rules where your first guess is also your last to be locked in! Rules: The way this game works, is styled in a Point and Click adventure game, using RP as your finder! Each guest is allowed 24 Investigative inquiries (Of 36 total), so grab your pencil and paper to make sure you don’t miss anything! You can investigate anything in a room, if it's not relevant to the investigation it doesn't go against your total! Yet it also means you've wasted your time! Feel free to collaborate with your competition, but be warned only one can achieve the grand prize -- your friends could quickly become your rivals! (And then you'll have to murder them!) Every half hour, after the first introduction guests can choose a suspect and investigate them, asking questions and trying to get down to the bottom of it. Though with a race against the clock there’s no way to investigate everyone. Even then, those who aren’t the murderer may give you clues to who the real culprit is! At the end, you'll have 15 minutes to deliberate between each other who the murderer is. After the time is up there will be an announcement that we're ready to hear your version of the events as they unfolded! Each 'final guess' needs to be accompanied by 3 clues and why they prove (Or disprove) others, because we reward proper investigation not conjecture! The final winner is decided by who makes their final guess accurately and first! (/tell spam hell!) The event as posted is expected to last two hours, and after the murderer is discovered a short story will be forward to anyone interested describing the actual events as they took place! --

Hey there everyone! So the thing is we don't really have a name for our regularly broadcasted RP events. We've been doing it for goodness four years now but we still just call it "Being open." So here's the deal, we are definitely an adult oriented RP community. I don't know if there is like a tag I can put designating 18+ but it definitely is targeted towards that demographic. (But not necessarily ERP as a mandatory thing; we're just catering to an adult group, and have an adult setting.) During our open service we've got two primary focuses! #1 is to encourage people to come on in, get to know one another, share stories, and get your delicious slice of life RP going on! #2 Is well... what you'd expect from a group that takes place in a brothel. However I understand that some people want 100% of 1 and none of 2, that's completely fine! Alternatively some people want some of 2... and that's something to be discussed in a completely different platform at a completely different time! For now just keep us in mind, swing by if ever you get bored or wanna see what we have to offer! We are located at the Mist Ward 5 Plot 35!
  5. Oh my goodness, I've gotten the eyes of one of the senior cool people, this is a big day for me. (Definitely not being sarcastic, genuinely cool!) That's actually a really cool way to phrase it. See when I first started my FC, the RP community on Hyperion was basically at exactly zero. There were a few groups, all of them relatively small, and none of them super big on advertising. Just small niche groups of close friends. I never really RP'd before I was just making it up as I went along because it sounded fun, but as the RP community grew and grew and grew there's always talk about the community. I never really considered it until this second (Though the evidence has been right in front of me) that there isn't a way to have a hand in every single one of them. That's pretty cool. So if I want to do my part and help this place grow, it's just as simple as showing everyone who hasn't heard about. That's how I found this place at least. Just googled it, didn't realize that it was so high up on the searches. I would love to offer feedback, but hey I just got here so I don't really know enough about the system to make anything. Thanks for taking the time to respond! Hella appreciate it. I hope to see you again someday! P.S. What do we need to do to get our own Hyperion designation like Balmung and Maetus, instead of being put in a group with "other."
  6. Alright listen up everybody. I've already got a pretty significant problem going on with the Hyperion RP Community. Why in the heck are we so scattered? We don't even have our own category on this site, we're ranked in the "Other Category." like rest of the scrubs! (Not that they're bad at RP, just that I'm biased towards Hyperion for obvious reasons, I'm sure they're all delightful people even if they're lower population.) In the past several weeks that I've tried to insert myself into the larger RP community and reach outside my own mansion walls. Whenever I do I see this horrible cacophony of everyone beating to their own tune. We've got like what two groups trying to add a whole roster, some LGBT focused RP groups, different venues, different small time RP groups. We've got leadership shells, RP shells, and discords for every single one of them. Looking at my discord list, I've got no less than 18 different small discords for Hyperion RP. They all have the exact same mission statement. To connect RPers. Well that's a fantastic idea, but shouldn't we have some unity, some solidarity. Everyone is trying to be *the* hub to end all hubs, and it's just confusing. I haven't even talked about the facebook groups! We're scattered, and if you wanna know what's happening say October 12th of this month at 5PM, well heck there might be two events that are going to be hosted but how are we supposed to know about it? Where's the laser like focus, the universally agreed upon standard. Because I bet you if someone is hosting something on October 12th at 5PM they might do some advertisement, but there's no way they can touch this wide plethora of members one scattered discord at a time. So they might host an event alone, with nobody to accompany them. How tragic and heartbreaking is that? Incredibly! Am I the answer? Heck no! I have no idea what the answer is. I barely even have a twitter. This site is super cute, and it's a great start, a great platform, and I love invision power as a platform, if I wanted to make a community it would be this software. Should we stop having a million discords and channels? Absolutely not! Everyone wants a small group to call home. I'm just saying, there needs to be some community standard, some goto place. A solid resource we're all agreed on. So if someone says "Man I've got nothing planned on my day off tomorrow." the response is "Well did you check FFXIV-Roleplayers to see if there's anything going on?" or the alternative. "Man I hope someone shows up to my new teahouse this weekend." the response being "Did you post it on the RPC forums?" like it's the obvious first step. Maybe it's not this site, but I think that this site has some damn fine potential. Also it kind of beats joining another discord channel that I'll absolutely never follow.
  7. You may be asking yourself many questions. First off "Why am I here?" maybe a bit of "What's the point of all this?" maybe not a question, maybe you're thinking "I'm tired of my old life and am ready to shed it and embrace the future." Well I will conveniently ignore the first two questions and let you know right now. You've arrived. This is the future and you my friends are apart of it. Look to your left, look to your right. It's probably just empty space, in the vacuum of your own bedroom. Look straight ahead, it's Madame Tepe baby. Look into your soul, tell yourself earnestly you're not the slightest bit curious what happens next. I'll tell you. We're gonna have a real ball. Invite your friends, come up with some brilliant ideas for spreading RP love in the Hyperion community, make it happen with those very same friends you made here. I believe in you. I always have.
