We are interested in doing progression as well as roleplay ( just a reminder ) so please contact one of the managers for more information if you are interested. All classes/jobs/levels are welcome, as are all levels of roleplay. If you are new to it, we will gladly help you along with it. We sport a medium sized housing plot in the Goblin and use it often for RP as well. If you want to stop by and chat sometime, we're in Ward 3, Plot 8.

Hi, I go by Kheda usually and I'm just returning after about a six month absence from the RP scene on Gilgamesh. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if the roleplay has died down a bit. Regardless, I want to reach out and try to connect with some of my fellow roleplayers so that I can get back into the swing of things. I am mostly roleplaying my Miqo'te male, Kheda'ya. He needs new friends, male or female - though be warned, he's a bit of a playboy and he doesn't care who knows it. There are many layers to him, however, you just gotta take the time to peel them away. ( I know that sounds corny, I like corny things. ) Either way, Kheda is currently a Co-Manager of a growing company and would also likely be interested in some business connections. I'm up for really anything, I just need things thrown at me. We could meet up in game, just PM me here and let me know - or add Kheda'ya Zahre. They is a lot of talk of improving the wardrobe system, so hopefully that will happen! Haha. I hope to see you Psy, if not, have fun with whatever you decide to play. <3 ALSO. We are still recruiting, looking for both roleplayers AND PvEers! We're looking for Division leaders still, people who can be active and those who enjoy leading something important. We're looking for some level 50 characters as well for our groups, doesn't matter if you're geared or not, we will help you get there! We are not a heavy PvE guild, though, so keep that in mind. We will have scheduled runs, groups for dungeons, HMs, etc. though it will not be the main focus. So, if you're looking to just enjoy the game with a bunch of fun, laid back roleplayers, come join us! (: As far as roleplay goes, we have a story building currently, and we host two weekly RP events for the free company as a whole.

A lot of the crafting/endgame gear is really nice looking, you can compile decent roleplay outfits with different armor pieces and not just sets, you can dye clothes so that's a plus. Not sure how much you've played though. They're adding a bunch of stuff, like a barber shop, and I'm sure eventually they'll have nice outfits. There is a wardrobe system where you can setup outfits and save them and then click on them and instantly equip it all, like what they do in WoW to switch armor. Not sure if that's what you mean.

Yeahh, it's free to play, which is good if you're lacking money....I guess. But yeah, I can't wait till housing comes out, the guild is saving up now to get one of the bigger houses! :lol:

FFXIV basically has the same thing! FATES are basically like those Rifts! Has cross-classing, awesome stuff! Although, I didn't play Rift for more than 2 days after I got to level 20. Haha. One of us, one of us! *chants*

[align=justify]This is for Gilgamesh players! Unless you're on Balmung and have an alt! :3 I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit with my girl here, Graive. She has a rather complex story background and an even more complex attitude/personality. I like to give those I RP with a challenge and make it so the experience is focused on progressing and building rather than casual conversation constantly and well...ERP. ( Not that it is bad with a wonderful storyline. ) Either way, I like mystery, romance, betrayal, etc. All those wonderful things. Graive is well...as her name implies, rather morbid ( Her mother had a bad sense of humor ). She is completely stoic and only pretends to have emotions to blend in, though despite her best efforts - seems she is mostly just awkward about it. She has really no morals and will use anyone as she sees fit if it works to her advantage. I suppose you could consider her evil, but Graive really has no inkling as to what 'evil' really is. I would divulge more information, but that would give away all the fun facts you can learn in-character! Also, Graive does have a side business that resolves around alchemy and making illegal things, so if you're in need of something like that, hit me up. I'd like for Graive to have more enemies than friends, honestly. She isn't a social butterfly and it wouldn't make much sense for her to be considering her personality. I'm not opposed to some getting past her walls and gaining her trust, but it isn't an easy feat. I'm also looking for some possible bodyguards for her! SO, anyone interested? Not really sure how to do this, ha![/align]

I don't want to be biased, and I've never been on Balmung, but! From what I've seen there is open RP in all the major cities almost all the time, and we have 2 OOC LS made so that anyone wanting RP can just go, "Want RP!" And someone usually always responds. There are a few RP guilds, but from what I've seen, most prefer to do open RP ( so that others can join in ) rather than private, 'cliquey' RP. There is a lot of Tavern RP in Limsa and Ul'dah, especially. The Bismarck has kind of become our RP hub on this server. But, like I said, I don't know how it is on Balmung - except from what you just mentioned.

I am new to FFXIV, completely so. I had a few friends that followed me from another game, but I would love to make more! Once I hit Dragoon ( Getting sick and dealing with a sick toddler has slowed me down a bit! ) I intend to roleplay quite a lot! I enjoy development through roleplay, but I'm not opposed to some pre-plotted story ideas if you have any! Seriously, throw something at me, haha! My main character is Kheda'ya, a Keeper Miqo'te who was banished from his tribe. He's a bit sexist and has turned against any and all traditions his kind keep. He's a mercenary for hire so that opens up a ton of possibilities! There is no job he won't do! If you're on Gilgamesh, add me in-game, Kheda'ya Zahre!
