Thanks for the email blast about this. I'll check it out having a characters name in the credits is a cool concept. Now I'll have to look over other head lines to see what else is changed. BTW love the new layout here.

Well. I may as well throw in my views as well. As a Casual player and Light RPer. I view the RPC as a Server based community site focusing on RP. It is not an in-game entity, it is not an out of game social group. I could get the information from the Besaid forum on Loadstone or Core. I come here because it has information relative to me as an RPer. News of what LS's are doing, what events are occurring, and I enjoy reading the story-lines of other characters. The announcement of 2.0 this will bring in a new influx of players. So I say out with the old and in with the new! We do have another year to get this ironed out. We can make a road map just like SE did! With that I agree that re-branding would be a good idea. Change the name, change the layout and new people would never know the Coalition existed. This page is the first on Googles' list when searching for Roleplaying sites for FFXIV that should be a huge advantage to attract new people. I also agree with Eva in that the wall of text may put off new people to this discussion. I TL:DR ed most of Rain's and Oskar's discussion, Sorry but I did. I did get the Highlights of the OP but still skipped around. Ages ago there was a discussion about how the page should be ran and more Blah blah blah. As of late, probably due to low numbers, it as been what I've expected in a Community site. An open forum to post IC and OOC news, LS listing and events, and I've always loved the Wiki of lore and characters that was created. I do feel that Kylin and Verence should chime in with their views. Not as Admins of the page but as fellow members of the community. Hey that was a bit longer than I thought! So much for no wall of text...

I don't mean to complicate things further It being a dead race after a few days but I chose Thursday. The weekend (Friday,Saturday) is generally prime for LS Events and I feel people will always chose LS events over community events. Just my 2 Gil :tonberry:

Welcome to FFXIV and the RPC. You'll find the state of the game has sifted out the populace leaving only the most dedicated. I know for a lot of people the RP community is the only reason they stayed with the game. So again Welcome!

Now if only Square would get around to releasing the PS3 I can get back in with you people! :frustrated: Still, it's great to be able to come here to check on the status of everyone and now that the RPC is still strong!

We just started the first week of 2011 and we broke the 1000 member mark! I'd just like to say this is a great community to be a part of and lets keep up the great work!

Given the Size of the community I say host the first epic then judge the turnout. After the PS3 release there will be a swell in population and host the Olympics as kind of a welcome party. At that point compare the turn outs of both then later in 2011 Do the epic again. In short, I think you should do a prelude epic of sorts for the current community. Get the feel for how to handle timing of events, how the community responds, the number of LSs participating Ect... (You know what your looking for) I can't imagine the amount of planing and creative writing that is put into this I hope to be there to see it fulfilled.
