Fleeting Dawn

This news has hit me very heavily. Denn is one of my most fondly remembered friends that I made here in Final Fantasy. He and I did manage to meet last summer when I was down in his direction. He was so much fun to hang with, both in and out of game. I am so sad and such a wreck right now. Thank you for letting us all know. And thank you, you silly dolphin. What’s this all about?: Balmung’s Finest acts as a ‘looking for group’ channel for those interested in running dungeons with other players on Balmung server. Why not just queue for the Duty Finder?: I try to start a group with players from our server before resorting to the Duty Finder because I believe in community over convenience. Running dungeons is a cooperative endeavor and it’s an experience that I’ve found to be more enjoyable when done with players I know I’ll see again. The joys of building trust, establishing a rapport, and making friends are often lost in the cross-server Duty Finder groups. Why should I join?: This linkshell is for those who share my passion for building a strong community through the cooperative play of running dungeons (and eventually raids) with players right here on Balmung. The goal is to learn from and encourage one another. When you’re entering a dungeon with other members of this linkshell, you should be going in feeling confident that you’re going to have a good time. Second Linkshell: We are on the second Linkshell which is past one hundred already. There are some slots still in both LS, so poke an officer! Sounds great! Don’t be a jerk!: Should go without saying, but it needs to be said. Members are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect. Be positive. Encourage inexperienced players, don’t put them down. A little kindness goes a long way. 2. Keep it (relatively) clean: I’m not putting an age requirement on the channel and some people are more sensitive to foul language than others. Some profanity is fine, but moderation is key. 3. Leave the drama at the door: If you’re having a problem with another member, contact an officer. If you're having a problem with an officer, contact Fleeting Dawn. We can't fix any problems or even know about them often until they are brought to our attention! Raids: We are in the process of setting up raids for those that do not have their own FC to do them with. These will include learning runs to help those that would not other wise have the chance to go with fun peeps such as those in the BF Linkshells. Hello there! Rhylund no longer plays Final Fantasy. As of now anyway. He can be fickle! He's given me lead of the Linkshells. I'll be redoing this so I can edit it as I need to! There is room in both the first and second Linkshells, so if you are interested, do not hesitate to poke one of our officers! I'm nicer than Rhylund anyway. He pinches.

If you buy drinks for her once though, Erik...she'll be like a leech. Or a scruffy not so cute puppy that will never let go of your pant leg. My character fell into that trap...

I would love to take part in this! And my character was there during the calamity, so if you wanted another in your original 8, that'd be awesome. Though, Salty and Size Queen have already met IC. But then the whole memory thing... I don't know. That gets complicated for me. <.

RP before PvE for me though. Server: Balmung 2. Does your character fit the 'common' lore of your Roegadyn or are they singular? (Eg. Raised by hyur so does not understand X or Y = singular) Fleeting Dawn does basically fit the common lore for Hellsguard. She's a mercenary, though she does not have the intense sense of loyalty that I have read that most Roegadyn have. 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) I like to plan as little as possible in my RPs and know as little as possible OOCly as well. That being said, I spend a lot of time on my characters and permadeath is something I would consider but probably not do unless the time was right. And no ERP. Fade to black FTW.

Hello there! I am very interested in this Company. I have been keeping an eye out for you being online but I haven't been able to catch you yet. I did chat with Virgil yesterday and I think it sounds like just what I am looking for. Well, really I'm just looking for fun people to play and RP with. I haven't RPed in game yet, which is a shame, but I haven't really put anything together for my character yet. I need to do more research on Hellsguard.
