If you're sure, I'll go ahead and let Suisei'to know. On a side note: Everyone here is so nice. Honestly, if we all met in person we'd be holding doors open for each other and get stuck in a battle of "No, I insist, you first." That's probably exactly how it'd play out. And yeah, I'm sure, he posted before me, I can wait!

Suisei'to made the offer first, so I'll wait my turn.

Elezen Name:Fenenoix Ekrent Elezen clan:Duskwight Gender:Male Timezone:Central Looking for?: IC friends, rivals, whatever! Wiki! 2. Does your character fit the 'common' lore of your elezen or are they singular? (Eg. Raised by hyur so does not understand X or Y = singular) Fen is a nomad, which fits with lore fairly well, and is a hand-to-hand fighter with good hearing, but he is actually from Ala Mhigo, part of a small minority of Elezen in the city before he left. His ancestors migrated there a few generations ago. 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) Please, please, please, no permadeath. I like Fen. I don't want him dead. Limb-loss or permanent injury need to go through me, too, please. ERP is fine IF it makes sense for the character/story. No random hook-ups or one night stands.

I'd be willing to trade, too! Examples:

...what am I waiting for? It's already done. -The Bravery, Believe Fourth Day of the Tenth Umbral Moon (4/10) Today was… um… interesting? Not bad, but… Seriously. The weird stuff. Always happening to me. It’s like it just follows me around. So basicly, the Company was having a “day off” before work picks up in the next season. Harvests bring jobs, for whatever reason. So we went to a beach, and it was nice and stuff… Oh! And Klara was there! The girl I talked about before! Not the weird one that took me to Ala Mhigo, the one that I said I like. She was there. It was nice. Until the jellyfish attacked. I don’t even… I don’t know. They attacked up, and so we opened up a can of whoop-ass on them and stuff, even the big one. Like I said. Weird. Stuff. Anyway, Klara left and I needed sleep, so I made the trip back to Ul’dah, and here I am! Another tourney tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll improve. On a side note, they haven't come back yet since I came to Ul'dah. Hopefully that's a good sign. I like it here, I don't want to leave...

Thanks! Getting better every day! (On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, I sometimes draw other characters on my own, though I ask permission before posting.) O: Well, if you ever draw Sio you have my preemptive permission. Yay! :3

Hiya, people! I'm Fen, and I doodle in my spare time... mostly things having to do with MMO characters. So here's a dump of things! The better things! DA at http://rokofragno.deviantart.com/ I do take requests, if for some reason you want one, but I tend to be a perfectionist, so time spans vary. And I don't accept money for things I do, for reasons that are cumbersome to explain. Without further adieu! Arts! First, FF characters: Now swtor... You can probably tell which ones are the older ones. And finally, a couple from Rift:
-
Oh, blast it, I'm too late! >_

Wait... these are the crappy doodles? Are... are you sure? Seriously, cracking good job, the lines are awesome, the expression's great, and the poses... If I could do foreshortening half as well as you, I'd be a happy doodler.

...that I am just nothing, now that's just what I've become... -The Bravery, Believe Third Day of the Fifth Umbral Moon (3/10) Today wasn’t too bad. I suppose I should talk about yesterday, though, since it was rather significant. The group I mentioned before had another tourney, which I of course entered. I did not win. Next time. Next time, I will. I did win my first match, though. Of course, it took accidentally dislocating that poor girl’s shoulder to do it, but… What? Don’t look at me like that! It was an accident! I don’t want to win a match just because I caused her crippling pain. I did apologize and try to explain, but the bugger just got angry at me for pitying her. Why is it so hard for people to realize that I happen to be a compassionate person? ...Of course, had the roles been reversed, I’m not sure I’d have reacted any better. I lost the second fight… It was against another hand-to-hand expert, which I wasn’t entirely prepared for, since all the past opponents were sword-users. I lost hard. Arse handed to me. I shouldn’t have kicked, I knew those are easy to counter. Anyroad, she was a right sportsman about it all, let up as soon as I acknowledge I was pinned, and we had a decent conversation after that. So no hard feelings, there. Today was my day of rest after fighting so hard yesterday, so I sat by the river and talked to a few of the fighters from that group. Watched a fight between the leader and some dimwit who thought it’d be a good idea to face off against a sword while not wearing a shirt. Then walked through the desert to visit Little Ala Mhigo with someone. That one’s a curious sort, but seems harmless enough.

...watching without eyes, because the beast is just my fear. -The Bravery, Believe [The entry came much later than the previous one, writing still neat and flowing.] First Day of the Fifth Umbral Moon (1/10) So… It’s been awhile. From Gridania, I set out and wandered for awhile, and I’ve finally come upon Ul’dah. The heat’s a bugger and the city’s dodgy, but I rather like it around here. Outside the city, I’ve found a group of people that hold organized fights. Those are fun. I like going out there, even if I keep blowing my gil on entering the tourneys. I’ll win next time, I know it! Speaking of blowing gil, I need to go find some sort of job through the guild so that I… actually have gil to blow. But that’s not important, money’s never been what I really care about. Speaking of caring about things… (today is the day of meandering topics) I think I met someone that I rather fancy. We met some days back, and… well, she’s a rather fit girl, and fun to be about. We sparred just earlier, but I lost to her… I’m not sure if I actually lost due to a difference in skill or if it was because she kept distracting me. Anyroad, we were talking afterwards, and… we kissed. I mean, we weren’t snogging or anything out there, but we kissed once… or twice… or thrice… No, Fen, stop it, you’re getting all daydreamy, again. Honestly, this is all frightening. I think I care about her, or at least fancy her, and she beat me, so I suppose she should be alright, but… What if she’s not? Bugger it all, I worry too much...

Aartur looks to the Eli, "Oh... um... let me think... Years, I'm not sure exactly how long. My sister can tell you, I was always the studious one. Even now, I read every day, and usually finish a book every two or three days... Arcanima, but also conjury and thaumaturgy, more recently. Er... you?"

Characters in media that influence/are similar to your character!
Fen replied to Orlog's topic in RP Discussion
Fenenoix was based on my old swtor character, Fen'ris Ekre... Both characters have taken a lot of influence from... ...Pretty much. -
((Fen's Journal is stashed either in his room when staying in a city or in his bags when travelling. If you want your character to get their hands on it for whatever reason, message me. Otherwise, do not use this IC! :3 )) GP8TAvQetyo I am hiding from some beast, but the beast was always here... -The Bravery, Believe [No date is given on the page, words scrawled across the paper with surprising fluidity. Pages prior to this one appear to have been ripped out.] They started again. They bloody started again. I thought I'd rid myself of them, but obviously I was wrong. So now they're back. I may be walking on the path Nymeia gave me, but does she always have to remind me of the beginning of that thread? Every bloody time I think I might settle in, they bloody start again. And then I just move on to someplace new, and they go away for awhile. There has to be a less cruel way of nudging me on my way. Oh well, the Gridanians were never that keen on me anyhow. Talk about holding a grudge, I didn't invade their city, that was a hundred blooming years ago. You don't see me holding grudges against them. I have principles. I have honour. I'm an Ala Mhigan. ... Oh, who am I kidding?
-
Aartur nods as the woman departs, Kyubey watching her walk away. As soon as she is out of view, the carbuncle makes a leap and hops up onto Aartur's shoulders. He looks around to the others present, unsure of what to say next.

I was great fun, even if Fen did blow another hundred Gil.

We can go the route of /roll combat if you'd like! I'm sure Fen could take Sio, and I'm open to it happening although admittedly... Yarr. I have only recently gotten over this feeling that Sio should lose pretty often. Don't want her to win all the time but it occurs to me, as I've said before, that losing all the time doesn't look too good either, amirite? So I would feel comfortable letting it down to rolls and so long as she doesn't get stabbed in the neck a third time, I'm sure Fen'll be good to go. She always does her worst amount of damage on the verge of death. Fen tends to be a much better fighter when equipped with his claws rather than the hora (which he has unfortunately been confined to in past fights), as he has to rely less on elbows and knees and more on the actual weapons, so it should definitely be interesting! Rolls sound fine, to make things fair! I'm kinda in the same boat as you, Fen keeps losing his fights, two out of three of which were not dependent on dice, when I feel like he should be... I dunno... better. Not godlike. But better.
-
Fen will be present, but as he will be sparring with Sio, tonight... it seems unlikely he'll enter this go 'round. Either too tired or too... comatose to participate.

Aartur returns the Gil to his pouch with a curious nod, "Thank you..." he said, tucking the small bag into his deep purple tunic, before turning to Kie once more, "Er... well, I live in Gridania, so whenever is convenient for you, just... uh... send a letter, perhaps? Would that be most efficient?" Kyubey nuzzled into her hand, clearly rather used to hamming it up. Aart, for his part, flashes a timid smile towards her, then to everyone else at the table. Turning to the newcomer, he nodded once more in greeting, "Er... I'm Aartur, by the way... Aartur Nelhah of Gridania, and that carbuncle over there is my companion, Kyubey. The other Miqo'te is... Kieira, right? And... oh... actually, I'm sure people can introduce themselves... apologies..."
-
"N-no, I didn't... I didn't mean... I was... It was... Out of context, if you... still want, I will help, I... I don't mind it..." he said with definite look of helplessness to him.Words, idiot, use words. Sentences. Stop, slow down... Aartur took a deep breath, collecting himself. "What I meant is that you seem to be rather smart and a person of learning, so you shouldn't have too much trouble..." he spoke, some degree of effort put towards not stuttering the statement to death. Kyubey just stood where Kie had left him on the table, staring up at the Miqo'te. Aart turned his head to look at the newcomer, nodding timidly to the man before handing the resident fortune teller about 50 Gil. "Is... Is that fair? I don't want to underpay..."
-
Aartur blinks. She said yes? I wasn't... actually expecting that. What did I just do...? "Worth a try," he says aloud without realizing it, "Er... I mean, it's not simple, but it shouldn't be hard for smarter people, like me... er... you, smart people like you..." Lovely. He's fumbling over words, again. A quick blush comes over his face, and he busies himself with digging through a bag of gil for his payment.
-
Aartur watched the cards carefully, more out of curiosity than suspicion. He hesitated before speaking, "...Well, Kyubey is bound to me, but if you're so fond of them, I could possibly try to show you how to summon one... It isn't the easiest thing on Hydaelyn to do, but... not the hardest, either..." Am I a glutton for punishment? I'd barely be able to speak in that setting, let alone teach. His eyes never left the cards.

Sauntering down the path came a Elezen man with messy blonde hair and an ever-present smirk, though notably a weary one. Green eyes twinkled as they caught the light from the lanterns along the road and the greatcoat worn over his shoulders billowed in the breeze. Out of the side of his mouth lazily hung a toothpick and the apparently young man hummed as he went along. Baer might recognize the Elezen, "Fen," if he was able to catch the name, from one or two of the more organized fights in and near the city. He seemed to habitually be paired against male Roes in the ring and was also habitually near-flattened in each case by said opponents. Winning back his entry fee did not seem to be one of his habits. He blinked over to the small group of people, who rather obviously were not the usual dock workers, and perked a brow, "Ah... Hullo," he said with a mild accent as he stepped nearer the people. The coat over his shoulders obscured most of his body, but his face seemed rather bruised as he stepped into the light. Nonetheless, he seemed in good humour.
