1. You are the WORST kind of person. But yeah, it is strange. Think they're doing it on purpose, or what? Because I'm tired of my stuff /airquotes not appearing /airquotes
2. Yes bro, yes. I want all the Roegadyn friends! Also to everyone else, you shall get the lovely scented FR as well. Bring me some of that Roe-love. Rrrrrriiiiiiiiiigggght. About that. I see you in the Quicksand, but all this talk of Roe-love makes me feel uncomfortable. /flipstheQuicksand. But nah, in all seriousness I don't even have a wiki page up for this level 1 rookie. I wouldn't expect much.
3. Really? I have a Hellsguard I haven't logged into yet because I thought no one WANTED to RP with us Roegadyn. Hell, add Raging Behemoth if you're looking for someone. With your history, you're actually the kind of person he'd seek out for tutelage.
4. Zac Evans

Hello all!

Hey, we're not a mean bunch! Welcome to have you aboard! Feel free to hit me up in the future!
5. Excuse any spelling errors, I'm on my phone. What you're after shouldn't be a problem. Like it's been said, all people know FOR CERTAIN is: 1. Dalamud fell at the Battle of Carteneau 2. The Warriors of Light fought at the Battle of Carteneau 3. Dalamud was actually a prison for the uber scary ass elder primal Bahamut 4. Bahamut blew up the world for all intents and purposes 5. Warriors of Light vanished, and no one can remember what they looked like or their names Using these facts and putting your own spin on what happened-as so many npcs claim people do-you're all set!
6. I'm not entirely sure that this goes here, and I'll most likely delete it if it doesn't, but how do all of my fellow Warriors out there plan to adjust their roleplaying style to accommodate the new changes? I look forward to many of them, but a couple of them slightly confuse me. Please excuse any spelling errors, as my phone is dumber than a stump. Take Holmgang for example. I always though of it more of a call out to one-on-one battle. A kind of 'Stand and FIGHT!!!' warcry than a whole 'produce a chain out of nowhere and begin savagely beating the bound foeman' gambit. One of the few ways I think of using this 'chain-ge'(I know, puny, kill me later) Is to whip off that chain belt I've been wearing to keep my britches up and lasso a monster with it. Another way is to use that chain I've been using to keep my axe on my back when not in use and go all Belmont on the poor sap. Thechoice is yous, but I'm not so sure on how to pull it off. Another is Defiance. I loved this skill, always imagining activating as just that-and act of defiance. Spitting in Bahamuts eye as he charges Mega Flare, showing you're not afraid to die and take him with you!!! I enjoy we get healed for more just by using it, but leads me to my greatest woe which the thread is named for. Inner Beast-this was an INSANE ability and king of the self-heals. what with the self heal being taken down from 300% to 100%, it doesn't seem as fearsome, even if you claim to have glowy red demon eyes Like Curious Gorge and Fell Demon. An understandable nerf, but how can we Warriors mock Paladins for needing to rely on bookworms (you know it's true Scolars)
7. Yes. That is your answer. Zachary Evans is a 100% accurate representation of me in Eorzea-I purposely made him that way. I've made a lot of characters in the past and eventually thought to myself "Man....to have these kinds of adventures." Since that thought, I've always made a character to fully represent myself and immerse myself in the story. Trust me it isn't to be all like "Zac! We NEED you to save us!!!" 'Gods damned right you do.' my ego does not need that kind of boost. Now understand, I've made other characters and given them parts of me. Raging Behemoth got my drive and morals.. To wrap all this up, yeah. You can't make a character without using something you know as a building block. Some people may call you uncreative and egotistical. Hells with 'em.
8. Waitwaitwaitwait. Wait. Hold yer chocobos. There's a LS that does what I ALREADY DO? SUH-WEEEEEEEET! Count me in.
9. Hey, hey, hey! Welcome! Really liked your introduction style-I'm so jealous. I look forward to roleplaying with you in the future. But I really have to ask....houseboat incident?! o.0; I can't wait to see how your character works!
10. Howdy everyone, how're you doing? The name's Zac. I ain't too good with these introductory whoozle-whazzits, so let's cut to the chase, shall we? --MMORPG background I used to play WoW, but quickly found myself disinterested in it, only to have my love of MMO's really ignited by GW2-I'm actually part of the roleplaying community there on Tarnish Coast (look me up sometime, we'll do brunch). I regret not playing the original Final Fantasy XIV, and am too 'hardware-orientated' to play XI. --RP experience I've role-played in a text format since middle school, and as an aspiring writer I tend to role-play scenarios in my mind and on paper. --Character ideas/info My main on Balmung is-big surprise-Zachary Evans. A young 20-something mid-lander gladiator from a small backwoods village. The entire reason he started adventuring was to find the three people most important to him in this world-three Warriors of Light. His best friend, his lover, and younger brother. I liked the concept of desperation here, and approached it from my own perspective. What would I do if I lost three of the most important people in my life? I could just move on, and cherish the memories of the times we had together, but without names or faces to put these personalities and feelings to, memories begin to fade. Afraid of forgetting, he set off to find them, and bring them home. No more tears unless it's a tearful reunion! Another character I'm fiddling around with is a Garlean noble-an expert in the Game of Houses, mind you- attempting to rally his scattered sibling back to Garlemald in an attempt to put one of their own on the throne due to the Emperor's current health.. I saw that most people made the Garleans out to be villains-which from the perspective of Eorzea, they are. But what about from the perspective of Garlean citizens? While we Eorzeans say they brainwash the children of fallen nations to follow the Emperor, they may say the indoctrinate the children into their new society and give them the best possible future in their ever growing and expanding nation. In my mind, it's all a matter of perspective, and this character would fully believe and support his nation. Not to say he wouldn't make friends of Eorzeans while travelling under his pseudonym, but it'd be pretty interesting to see how they'd interact after his big reveal. --How did you learn about the coalition? Invasion Block. OH! You mean this website. I searched for it on the internet. I know when role-players congregate in a game, websites are quickly put up. --What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy? Yeesh, tough question. I guess I could be any of the three. I want to be Heavy-but my 12 hour work shifts are counter-productive to that. Medium is most likely what I'll be, but I have no problem toning it down for rookies. --Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc) I play Magic: The Gathering, write stories for fun, and work 12 hour shifts. I also like to sleep! YAY SLEEP! That's the gist of it. My Zac character is still low-leveled, and I'd love a Balmung-styled welcome to Ul'Dah. Look me up!
