Hi there! I play Xifang Crimson on the Gilgamesh server. I'd like to take this moment to express my enthusiasm for another RPer joining the game via interpretive dance, but I'm not all that great at dancing... so instead accept that my intentions are good? Oh my gosh, making characters in Skyrim is fun! Mostly when I play a new video game I mess around with the character creator and recreate old characters that I've played in other games (I OBSESS over character creators), but I made a few unique characters in Skyrim too... it's a blast! So you're new to MMO RPing but used to forum RP? That's somewhat similar to me. FF isn't the first game I RPed in, but it's the first game I've RPed SO MUCH in. It can be daunting at first, but there are a ton of really welcoming RPers in FF! Still, if you join an RP free company they often have websites so that you can still do forum RP too (in fact, this site has an RP Forum section). So you still have the opportunity. WOO! Aaaactually, I got my undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology... so that's super neat too! Um um um... I really like interacting with people so if you have any questions or just want to say something like "Oh man, the Dark Brotherhood plotline in Skyrim was crazy", "Let's hang out sometime and look at kinship charts" or "Can you introduce me to more RPers and tell me how cool my character looks?" feel free to PM me! *grin*

Xifang uses :WELCOME WILD NEW RPer!: and hopes that it is super effective. Hi! I play Xifang Crimson, an incredibly extroverted hyur monk, on the server that you just so happened to appear on! She's also something of a reformed bully... so I bet we could come up with all sorts of plotlines just based just on how that works with your character. Otherwise, I'd be happy just to have her meet and interact with someone new. For those who are interested in getting more in-depth information about Driftwood Coast than the small blurb here, I've put together an introductory newsletter. It's quite long and you aren't expected to read it all (you're not actually /expected/ to read any of it!). I am just putting it here so that you can read the parts that you choose in order to learn about aspects of Driftwood Coast. I turned it into a google drive pdf (my first one! Whee!) and I see that drive doesn't have pdf bookmarks. That's a major bummer! The bookmarks make it easier to navigate! *shakes a fist!* Also something weird happened to the colors and some of the pictures make us look like zombies. I promise you; Driftwood Coast has no undead members. Well. Not many. Probably. To get around this issue, feel free to download the sucker. You'll have access to the PDF bookmarks then and be able to just read the parts you're interested in. BAHAHA. I'm glad that Xifang's potion chaos has been entertaining! I didn't put any specific end time or cure on the effects because I figure you can just RP that out until you don't feel like it anymore. All of the potions are different and "unstable" so that you can come up with any variety of cure if you want. I gotta see the new ultra feminine Chiyo!

Hey there! YAY! Definitely come! The group RP should be a good time because you can jump in and out of it at your own comfort. I actually have some anxiety doing RP myself and I find that these sorts of events actually help me out with that. So, if nothing else, come find ME because I can relate to RP fear! ## As for the swimsuit issue, I'm not sure what the racial underwear (hempen stuff) looks like for lalafell, but for hyur I think it's easy to imagine it being a sort of tank and boy short swimsuit look. If it's similar for lalafell I bet that'd work. Or, hey, even just the actual underwear? There's a little bar at Bronze Lake, too, so you could even just hang out there with some of the other girls and RP and not even worry about having a swimsuit!

This is just a bump to remind everyone that this event is THIS Saturday! Feel free to come out and sell merchandise if you're a merchant or buy some neat stuff if you're not. Also come and try one of Xi's potions and start some zany RP! They're super low cost and the RP mechanic should be a lot of fun. You can RP the personality shift for as short or as long as you want. Since the potions aren't stable and are wildly chaotic, feel free to run wild with it! It'll just be cool to meet new people to RP with! -XI:love:
