My starting city was Ul'dah in 1.0! But I kept that IC. It seemed like your starting city didn't make your nationality per say in game, since you were arriving there and such. But I don't know! I treated it like she was just arriving there for RP purposes, anyway.

I almost think that Citizenship would be better than Allegiance. This poll will vastly under-represent Garleans in the community as most of them are no longer supportive of the Empire, and Ala Mhigans of course have nothing left to be loyal to, though they might still be fiercely proud of where they're from.

In regards to this, please speak to all parties involved if you'd like if you haven't already. Some things aren't as bad as they look?

It would be awful if they made it a new character only server. And DUMB. I still don't get why we can't do server transfers (at least once in awhile/for a charge!).

I can't say I'm terribly interested in that sort of setting myself, but I know there are a lot of others that may be, however.. I'm pretty set on FFXIV and am very much a one-MMO at a time type person. I did want to say though, that I noticed you were gone and did miss seeing you around here! :love:

I also disagree with the adventurers=slaves thing. While we're certainly looked down upon by NPCs it is mostly due to it being suggested that most adventurers are "foreign" to the cities in some way. Grew up outside them, in other words. Outsiders who will do annoying errands for gil and outsiders who want/need to prove themselves. I guess the overall point is this is a survey for a census, so everyone describing their character's wealth status would make that ridiculously hard. Separating it into classes that we're familiar with makes it a lot easier to gather data on where RPers are placing their characters monetarily. He could have also just said "Wealthy, Comfortable, Struggling, Dirt-Poor" or something.

The chat is usually more active in the evenings with RP and, while it doesn't really matter as it is non-canon, I believe the current time is 5-yrs post-Dalamud (though it sometimes changes depending on what people want).

Lower class, always has been, always will be. Aysun makes enough to survive in what she deems a comfortable way and doesn't feel the need to make more than that unless she has a reason to. Prior to Dalamud, she did seek extra gil, saving it and giving it to Nel in hopes of helping purchase supplies needed for the boat. This essentially left her with nothing, which, since she thought she was going to die anyway, wasn't an issue. Coming back to ARR she'll have no actual job (5 year absence from the Mineral Concern? Yea... she'll be seeking that out again but I'm not sure when), and no possessions to her name.

Naw you had it covered, you just had said "seeker of the moon" or something. Just a typo so I wanted to clarify what you meant!
