The official stance I believe is that while half-breeds happen, they are rare due to cultural differences between the different races. Judging by the fact that we've never seen a Lalafell with cat ears or a Hyur with slitted pupils in game, one can assume that they take the race of either parent, not a mix of both, when it does happen. At least, that's how I see it for now. Anyway, welcome. I'm all for more Hyurs personally, there's just not enough of them~ Play what you'll enjoy!

How does one become a legacy member? $2 a month is a strangely miniscule amount for 7 extra chars per server And... I think I have actually settled on a Wildwood Elezen. Originally, I was turned off by them being described as arrogant, but I've always been about archers and woodsy types, so I guess I can do arrogant Now... time to immerse myself into the lore... Legacy status was given to those who paid for 3 months of 1.0 service between about January 2012 to September 2012. With it comes the cheaper monthly fee and a few other perks--it is no longer available to get as it was sort of a 'thanks' to those who stuck around and supported the game when it was being redesigned. And Wildwoods are pretty sweet. :thumbsup:

Go to "My Blogs" and make one! It's pretty simple. You can customize the appearance with a premade template. Just play around with it~

Oh man. Wordpress all the way. Lots of fun features that are free. I used to host my journal on the Lodestone but with the changes to it/limitations on length of posts, I'm all for Wordpress. Plus the disadvantage of not having it in your OWN place means.. if you leave a LS and had the journal on their forum.. ffff moving the entries sucks! Looking forward to seeing your journal. I stalk the crap out of them myself. Loads of fun to read and write. It's something I miss almost as much as RP itself during this downtime..

ARR's battle system was rebuilt from the ground up, as they've stated. None of us can really say anymore, I encourage you to play it when you are able during the next phase!

When they disappear it is 1572, the end of 1.0. When they reappear, it is 1577, ARR. Another trailer states that those who did this were "untouched by time" therefore it's basically a timeskip. This is what happened to the 1.0 characters that were at the Battle of Carteneau. : )
