The rest contain a variety of different items, from cute little minions worth a few hundred thousand to.. well, whatever we could find lying around. Keep reading for a list of Gift Box Number & Descriptions that will be used in the event on Wednesday. If you’re participating, please take a minute to glance through the list and strategize about which gifts you’re gunning for! And even if you’re not signed up, check them out because we’ve decided that, instead of yanking out gag gifts from the list to account for no-shows before we start.. We’ll be auctioning off spare, unchosen gifts to the crowd before anything is unwrapped! Note: And if you need a reminder of how the game works or if you have any questions about how the auctioning will work, the rules are found here![/align] [align=center]The Giftboxes[/align] [align=justify][ BOX ONE ] This large box is dressed up in orange and black wrapping paper. If you pick it up and give it a shake, you can hear a faint jingling noise from inside. [ BOX TWO ] Something heavy is obviously inside of this flat, rectangular box wrapped up in bright pink wrapping paper and a small, subtle black bow. [ BOX THREE ] It looks like a child wrapped this small square gift in cutesy paper and a giant yellow bow. When shaken, it feels like something soft is inside. [ BOX FOUR ] The dark blue wrapping paper on this heavy, large box seems to be sporting a few water stains. [ BOX FIVE ] Checkered paper covers this flat, rectangular gift box. When shaken, it sounds as if something soft is inside. [ BOX SIX ] For such a large box, this gift is deceptively lightweight. Those who have particularly sensitive noses might find themselves sneezing with this box in hand. [ BOX SEVEN ] There’s something odd about the slithering sound of movement within this large box with a green ribbon on top. Hmmm.. [ BOX EIGHT ] The opposite of box six, this small box is deceptively heavy. It takes some effort to shake but, when you do, multiple somethings rattle around inside. [ BOX NINE ] This skinny box may not be very wide, but it stretches out to an impressive five fulm long with a bright green, curling bow at the top. [ BOX TEN ] This large box was very ornately decorated, with lavish red gift wrap and a lacey, over-the-top black bow. [ BOX ELEVEN ] The black bow on this gift was pulled taut in such a way that the loops are grossly disproportional to the small, round box it stops on top of. [ BOX TWELVE ] Something solid rests inside this medium-sized gift. When curiosity has you to lift it to your nose, you notice it has a slightly singed smell. [ BOX THIRTEEN ] There’s no denying the earthy smell coming from this large square box, which is so heavy that it isn’t even easily shaken. [ BOX FOURTEEN ] About the size of a desk of Triple Triad cards – that’s the size of this unimpressively small box, wrapped in plain red paper and gold ribbon. [ BOX FIFTEEN ] A piece of parchment paper is tied to this small square giftbox wrapped in bright red, which reads: HANDLE WITH CARE. [ BOX SIXTEEN ] This giftbox looks like it’s seen better days – also probably the business end of someone’s boot, by the looks of the dents and ripped brown wrapping paper. [ BOX SEVENTEEN ] The old-fashioned floral print paper covering this large, round giftbox reminds you of something that your grandmother may have wrapped herself. [ BOX EIGHTEEN ] This is the largest gift on the stage, with light blue paper that feels peculiarly cold to the touch. [ BOX NINETEEN ] This box has a very unique shape – a square base that taper upwards into a long, rectangular neck. A handwritten note on it reads: DO NOT SHAKE. [ BOX TWENTY ] There’s a pleasantly sweet, comforting aroma that comes from this small rectangular box when sniffed. Something rustles around inside when shaken. [ BOX TWENTY-ONE ] The wrapping paper and bows in red, green, and white practically scream Starlight at you. Talk about festive! [ BOX TWENTY-TWO ] Tall and skinny, this box is wrapped in a lusciously deep maroon red wrapping paper.[/align]

Joking aside, things have been moving right along at Gold & Glory in the past week since our grand opening of recruitment! We've gotten several new members, have an impromptu social gathering at our FC house, and started organizing for our first public RP event! Keep reading for the details! [align=center] new members & recruitment[/align] In the past week alone, we've seen the in-character recruitment of three individuals! First up was C'rehd Rehlan, a Seeker that sought us out to take up a spot in Clerical Branch, serving up drinks and tending to our library. Rehd -- Boy, that isn't confusing at all! -- has also been officially promoted to full-fledged member status as of today! Next came Ishex Huvomoix, a fancy-talking Elezen explorer who enjoys fine wine and long walks to where ever his feet take him! As such, he's taken up recruit status in our exploration branch, the Hunters of Treasures! And on Sunday, we welcomed Qadan Hotgo into our ranks. This Xaela man is experienced with acquainting beasts with the business end of his giant axe, and as such, he's right at home in our martial branch, the Hunters of Bounties. We've also got another couple recruits in the works, OOCly, and we'll be sure to feature them in next week's newsletter. That moment when you realize you copy-pasted an old version of your White Oliphant rules. Whoops. The rules previously stated (incorrectly) that opting to go 'Nice' and select a gift from under the tree, you would randomly be assigned a gift via a random roll. Though it would be quicker and less messy this way, undoubtedly.. what's the fun in that? People will be able to pick which gift they want from under the tree. Just please take less than 5 minutes to come up when called, declare if you're choosing 'Nice' or 'Naughty', and what present you're going to pick or steal! Dec. 13th - 19th, 2015.[/align] [align=justify]Hey guys! This is the first official newsletter that I'm posting up for the newly (re)launched FC, Gold & Glory Hunter's Guild! My aim right now is to post an update like this one a week or, at the very least, once a month. It's just a good way to let everyone know what we're up to! Seeing as we're still freshly re-opened, there's not been much of a chance for anything major to happen just yet. But with that being said, it does give me a chance to talk a little bit more about us, for those interested! We're a small company with big aspirations. Right now, has a small handful of members, but we're actively growing! We already have a few recruitments in the works, and we're eager to get more so that we can grow our pool of RPers enough to set all of our Big Plans™ in motion. But what are said Big Plans™? Well, funny you ask.. We'll be running regular events every week -- of all different flavors! Do you like extensive, intricate plotlines that involve the entire company and span over the course of several different sessions, challenging your and everyone else's characters and resulting in delicious development? Or maybe you like events that involve smaller groups and last for shorter amounts of time? What if you have your own idea for a plot or event that you want to run, but you just need to bodies to carry it out? We plan to have all of those, and more! Once Gold & Glory gets its sea legs (and the holidays that keep everyone busy have passed!), we will be moving full steam ahead towards getting our calendar loaded up with events of all different types to keep people's RP flowing and the FC moving forward as a whole! Large scale, small scale, oneshot, personal, public, IC dungeon runs.. You name it, we're going to try to make it happen! No, really, we're super excited about starting our Community RP events. As soon as we've got the membership numbers to make it happen, will be hosting weekly public RP nights, alternating between a Tavern Night and a Fight Night each week. These will -- naturally! -- be open to the public, so that everyone in the RP community can enjoy themselves. Each of these events is going to have its own special flare, to keep them somewhat different from other existing events of this nature! In addition, we're planning on holding other community events on a semi-regular basis, such as Bazaars and Auctions to sell off the treasures we've found and the goods that we've made during our other events. All this to say, we're just as excited about engaging with the community as a whole as we are about getting our own inter-FC storylines going! We're very much looking to recruit additional Event Planners / DMs! With all these lofty goals, we need people to help us make them a reality. Those people would be our Event Planners and DMs / GMs. This is a special rank in our FC, reserved for people who really enjoy putting things like events and formulating storylines for their fellow FC mates. They work closely with the rest of the Leadership to make these plots happen, and -- simply put -- the FC can't thrive without them! So if you're the type of person who enjoys organizing events and/or brainstorming plots and the like, we would absolutely love to hear from you! People with experience and/or interest in DMing / GMing FC events are also very much sought after. Previous experience isn't necessary, just a willingness to learn and ability to work as a team!
