I plan on switching my main to Balmung soon and so I will be reseting his backstory and everything. For right now he is a highly educated person with good combat ability in both swordsmanship and Lancemanship. He is looking for anyone who will hire him (Preferably who is on often. I am a heavy RPer.) He will do just about anything you ask of him wether it be staying at home and cleaning your house, Accompanying you on adventures as your bag carrier, or being a personal bodyguard who fights in your name. All persons who desire to have him state your reason and what you have to offer him for being there.

I was wondering if travel between the two servers of Balmung and Gilgamesh could be possible in RP and how it might affect a player and those around him. But the idea is that you have a copy of the same character on both servers and when you alternate between the two you find yourself transported by some means between the servers. You may retain your memories, they may be fragmented. But your clothes and even physical body could change to a minor degree between worlds/dimensions/whateverz. What means do you think would allow a player to do this? Would they have control of it or would it be random? What side effects could occur? Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated my friends :3

My Character Sparks works on engineering and medical research. I mostly do it alone but would love to have anyone as my assistant who wants to learn about Technology or being a doctor so I can have more connections or give someone else more connections. I also decided as a very long term goal I eventually want to make a house in the Goblet ward 3 and set up a Engineering work shop or a doctors office for other RPers to come to. Although to do that we would need people and money. Both of which I have none of . Anyway I will accept just about anyone as long as you are interested. Despite desiring to take in many rolls and disliking making characters from scratch I wanted to make an experiment! And that is that I want to make a character on both Gilgamesh and Balmung which is exactly the same. But I want to see how they develop being in two different communities. An experiment of sorts to get to see the two communities. But in order to fulfill this experiment I need someone to fill a roll for me. Because my character is a mute. I need someone who will know my character well and is willing to come from a land far away from Eorzea. So it would require a new character to be made or someone with a very blank back story. I will try to RP these characters without the assistant but the assistant is greatly desired. Its hard to get around as a mute in a foreign land with strange people and the likes. If you are interested PM me and I will inform you more on the roll.

I come from Emerald Dream World of Warcraft being a RPing lover for 8 years now! I have also played many other MMORPGs and table top RPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons. In all my years of RPing I have roleplayed many characters to their very end. And I have enjoyed and treasured their lives. I hope I can do the same here in Eorzea which is the new home I wish to settle in. I am a Heavy RPer to the maximum ability! I have way too much free time and want to spend it with you beautiful people in the land of Eorzea. As of right now I am searching for a role or hopefully many roles to fill in your exciting lives in Eorzea and will try my best to fit in! I am a RPer of many games and want to RP on this one... a lot. But I hate starting from scratch and know it would be difficult to get started in RP if I did. Which is why I am offering my abilities to whoever needs a role to be filled in their RP. I am not very picky on what kind of role it is. I just desire it to be one where I can RP often. I am a person with far too much time and far too little role play I can do. So the more I can get on and act out my role with others the better. The roll can be a Mate, Friend, Family, Boy, Girl, Antagonist, whatever! Please be as detailed with the roll as possible and I will handle the rest. I RP a Garlean character and while I know quite a bit of the basics I figured there is still a massive amount I can learn. So knowing how knowledgeable the community is here and how lazy I am in not wanting to look it up more I just wanted to know every bit of information we can provide about the Garlean Empire. From the simple to the more in detailed stuff. I was thinking if we could collect enough information this could be used as reference for anyone desiring to RP a Garlean or being connected to them in some way.

But honestly Gilgamesh and Balmung have nothing to do with each other. We are both RP servers but we cannot really RP with each other. We are similar worlds but have no connection with each other. All this communal discussion place ends up doing is making it harder for the Gilgamesh community to stay connected within this maze of Balmung. Balmung seems very populous and always growing but I believe it will be difficult for Gilgamesh to grow unless we can stay connected and handle ourselves. It simply annoys me that people try to say they do not want to divide the community but really what is keeping this section blended going to do? Show how successful Balmung is doing compared to Gilgamesh then everyone will want to switch to Balmung. It also makes it harder for Gilgamesh to stay connected. Maybe because you all are Balmung players you do not understand very well but Gilgamesh does not seem to benefit at all from this layout. I want to see my server grow and be successful like yours but it is difficult to do with the system we have now. We will never get a bigger community unless we can show some organization and work ourselves to make the community bigger.

While we may not need to make a new forum section for each server I have to say that on the discussion forums I often feel Gilgamesh is smashed by the Balmung server because of Balmung overall just being the bigger server and it makes it very difficult for residents of Gilgamesh to discuss together. It may not be so much of a hassle for the balmung players who occupy the majority of the threads but if I desire to discuss with fellow players of Gilgamesh then I must sort through many pages of posts to find a post that may or may not have (Gilgamesh) In the title thread. I am not too sure how having individual sections would tear the community apart when we could easily just look to the other section to find out what the other server is up to. But it is a real downer when I see good ideas for RPs then notice the Balmung server under the players name. I do feel things could be better sorted out. Even if we are connected on here you have to realize there IS a server difference between us and that won't change. Which is why you should respect our community in helping us stay better connected to each other before scattering us across the broad picture. As I said individual sections may not be needed but it is one way of fixing it. Maybe individual sections for each server then a General discussion. Or really anyway to be able to easily sort through Gilgamesh and Balmung posts so people looking for Gilgamesh can connect with other Gilgamesh players. The point is that other than the events section Gilgamesh feels like a scattered community trying to find its way through the giant and alien land of Balmung posts. Its hard to do diplomacy as an overall community if one of the two factions is broken and splintered up by the other. Hopefully you can understand and some measure will be taken to handle this problem. Because it IS there. and the Gilgamesh community will have a hard time growing if it can't pull itself together.

Man... we need more threads titled like that for Gilgamesh lol. Anyway. I just want to help people who are looking for a semi made story to make a character off of and to help my character (Who lacks friends Q_Q ) You can make a character who may be directly within my RP or affected by my Story in some way. I am not going to tell my whole long strung out story. I have another thread for that... somewhere. I am just here to offer roles and ideas for how other characters could be affected by my own. I will warn you, A majority of these roles would probably require you to have been to the Garlean Empire at one point in time. On with the roles! My character is currently wanted by the Garlean Empire and it is quite well known in the Empire. Something along the lines of a noble committing high treason and to be brought to authority's dead or alive for very high reward. This in itself can leave many roles open. Including Garlean Assassins who were hired by the government or apart of the government and ordered to bring my character back to the Empire. These can be people who lived in the Garlean Empire and traveling to Eorzea undercover to hunt me down. Or people living within Eorzea contacted by the Garleans to hunt me down and are offered high reward for returning me to the Empire. Also if you are someone who is Garlean or been to the Garlean Empire you can approach me with the knowledge that I am a criminal from the Garlean Empire and you could know my characters name. If you choose to have heard of me know that my Father owned a lot of the major railway systems in the Garlean Empire so became very rich and famous. And I am his Heir, but I betrayed the Empire and my whole family was executed because of my actions. Back to the assassins. If you do not want to work for the Garlean government you could also say you were hired by a private corporation who I stole information from in the Garlean Empire. (I overall just stole a ton of information from everyone in the Garlean Empire.) If you are wanting something more detailed and want to be closer to my character then I have some roles for that as well. I was arranged to be wed at 22 years old ((I am 24 now)) to some high class girl in the Garlean Empire but I was never able to get around to it because well... I became a criminal. We attended a few balls together but did not know each other extremely well. Because she was not in my immediate family and not considered Dangerously close yet they might have let her survive. So if that is something you want to RP with me you can. You do not have to like my character because it was arranged although you can as well. Maybe you were banished from the Garlean Empire for being associated with me or your family's name just lost its value so you went to Eorzea to start anew. *Shrug* My Father was a big buisness man and did a few shady deals with companies in Eorzea so if anyone else who may have had contact doing dealings like buying magitek from him think they would know about my character they could use that excuse as well. So none of these roles are needed they are just there for anyone who wants to take them to have a headstart to a new character they were making or they want to just get involved with my character. :3 Comments welcome and anyone can contact me on here. Entry Five I have been having too many close calls recently. The desperation for a cure to this problem that plagues me gets stronger and stronger. Yesterday I was captured and locked into a forward outpost of the Garlean Empire with four other Eorzeans. I do not think they realized who I was when they locked me with four others. In such a poorly made cell as well. It was made to contain Eorzeans and they failed to factor the chance of needing to lock one of their own kind into the cell. The others learned of my ancestry before the guards even did. I wonder how long they have been away from the Garlean Empire and in this war zone. Regardless I was immediately antagonized. They were all in a hopeless state. Clueless of what to do. They were of little help. So I formulated a plan to help us escape. It was a very rough plan and I was not even sure that it would work. It was under the assumption that some of the technology was outdated compared to what they have back in the Empire. Well even though my assumption paid off it drained a lot of my blood and upon escaping I was left in a near useless state. I had to use a lot of Aether I did not have and the constant jumping back and forth of my blood aether content made my body reject my own blood. It nearly killed me. Even though I risked my life and worked so hard to help these foolish Eorzeans escape they still were very unfriendly and hostile towards me. The side effects of doing good. People here will hate you for it. There is nothing I can do but move on with my life. I need to work harder to be sure another situation like this does not happen. I recently stole a few guns from the Musketeers guild in Limsa and I am already heavy at work on new projects to assure my survival. Know that no matter how good you think you are, no matter how kind and selfless you try to be. There will always be people out there to hate you. End of Entry Five
