Wonderful

Hello there! I am the Cat Sidhe Nekoko Catseye and I have recently returned to Eorzea (Balmung) to spread mischief and merriment! I am hoping to find some companions to play with, including role play and end game content. Currently I have most of my crafting classes at Lv 50 and my highest level combat class is a Level 41 Paladin (though I also have a 30ish Scholar and Ninja). Let me know if you would like to play!

Not that it matters anymore, but apparently there are 5 new servers afoot! Rabanastre, Bodhum, Melmond, Palamecia, Selbina they be called. Strange... I don't remember any of those towns Let's see... Melmond is from FF1, Rabanastre is from XII, which is why I don't recognize it (because I never played much of that one), Bodhum is from XIII, same applies. Oooo I remember Selbina now, that one was in XI duh!

Well I doubt there's anything left to say that hasn't already been said, but even though I only joined... what... a few days ago? I'm already greatly fond of everyone here, including you Castiel! Without you (and everyone else that makes up the RPC) I would be doomed to forever wandering amongst the 'normies' (is it okay to call them that?) trying to spontaneously rp with them, only to get blank stares, LOLs, and probably trolled >_> So... THANK YOU CASTIEL!

I'm really loving it! I haven't met anyone from RPC in game either but I know you're around... if you spot me (Meduna Macross//Calamity Cahn) feel free to say hi or initiate some sort or rp. I love spontaneous people I realize most people are waiting for the commercial release before doing any serious rping and I don't expect any such interactions to be 'canon' or anything. Just figured it might be fun

How much longer? An hour? And despite all the arguing... whatever the vote says in the end is the one we end up on, right?

As long as we're all together in the end, I could really care less where we end up. I'd be annoyed at the fact that I have to reroll my char if this weren't open beta though... But I guess that's what I get for picking Wutai ^_^'

Nobuo Uematsu is my favorite composer. I just wish they hadn't disbanded the Black Mages... *sniffles* Still, has anyone heard of his new group, the Earthbound Papas?

I'm sorry I'm sure this is the wrong place and I know it's a total newb question but what is a leve/guildleve? I've just heard it mentioned so many times (and complained about) while reading though all these posts and then I realized I didn't know what anyone was talking about lol As far as the limitations on casters, I've always felt it was unrealistic (and unfair) for spellcasters to stand there and hurl spell after spell while chugging mana potion after mana potion... Sure it cost money but never enough to really matter, any spellcaster I knew in any other MMO (at least the ones that knew what they were doing) always had at least 1 slot filled with 99 mana pots... At that point it's like... why even have MP? The final fantasy serious has always made magical recovery items rare, like usually you had to find them. I think in some games you could buy the weakest Ether at an expensive price but still... I'm not sure SE's current system is the answer, but at least they're trying to balance things a bit I think.
