I hope this calls for a re-vote or something. Although it might be best to wait until a couple days before release. As chances are they're going to keep adding more servers as they let in more people for the Open Beta. EDIT: So like, stick with Besaid for now, but then closer to release hold a re-vote. (Gives people a chance to remake characters to save names if they're worried about that)

I'm still very much in the air about whether or not I'm gonna roll Lalafell or try something new this time and roll a Broegadyn. For all intents and purposes I'd love to continue on my FFXI character who was a Taru Dragoon. But I made him the better half of a decade ago, and the things that appealed to me about the little guys no longer do I suppose. I'm a different person now than I was then And as such, my tastes have changed a bit. Now during my alpha/beta days for 14, I've tried out both. And I very much enjoy both. So it's really very tough for me to decide. It really comes down to "I'll probably have more fun as a Broegadyn in terms of RP, but I'll probably have more fun playing through the game as a Lalafell." In alpha and beta, I enjoyed Archer a lot. The big bows and animations looked awesome on Lalafell, and unfortunately much less so on Roeg's. (in my opinion). Gah...it's such a tough decision. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO PICK :cry:

Yes, but you stated "Purely" confiscated Garlean tech, which they do not. They confiscate all matter of illegal or potentially dangerous materials. It's still pretty clear that the Garlean Empire is an ominous shadow cast over Eorzea. There's no negotiating between the empire and the commonwealth.

The Garlean Empire shares some similarities for sure with the Archadian Empire from FF12. The main badguy looks a bit like a judge. The empire looks interesting, but is most likely entirely composed of a hyur like species. As the Garlean couple of garlean models I've seen have all be pretty much human.

He's not really a pirate, but he does wear an eyepatch XP I'm still workin' up his official profile, trying to adapt it all from FFXI to FFXIV.

So while I've posted a handful of my works over in my introduction thread, I guess I might as well make a proper thread for it all and for my updates and stuff. So I'll post up my most recent works first, then some other ones.

Bothers me that SE won't let us be part of the Garlean Empire. Would have way more fun on that side =/
