  1. If it's still available, Phoenix Rose would be interested to have the house until we can afford the house we want.
  2. Heya folks! The Rose is still looking for members. Either those looking to assist in the rehabilitation of people in trauma, or those looking for a place to stay while they try to rebuild their lives. We are a heavy RP FC with an emphasis on character building and inclusive storylines. We are also open to free RP, interactions with other FCs, and general gameplay. Thank you for taking the time to check us out and we'll see you in game!
  3. Eristan's smile grew, looking over the white lady. "I see. I, too, could get lesser pleasures for free, but I'd rather pay for quality services. My darling kitten up there is certainly worth any price. Surely, you understand, Lady Faye." He gave Val a light wink. "And can you blame me? Your kind has always been the most...enchanting." He smirked at Jaques's scowled expression. "And Jack. You're looking for homes for these lost souls, yes? I'm offering to take S'kyla, give her everything she could possibly desire. You understand. You have a whore of your own, don't you?"
  4. Thank you all for your kind words! So much love to you all:love: And Shay, you asked for dem hotties He's smiling....sort of
  5. "So you see, my dear S'kyla, you are free to join in my company. Your Masters said so themselves." The strange, deep voice came from behind them. The one who spoke was a tall, slightly round hyur. His black hair was slicked back, brown eyes piercing in their gaze. He wore the attire befitting of a noble of Ul'dah. Purple, red, and gold satin adorned with emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds. He smiled a charming yet devious smile, one that nearly all nobles wore. Beside him was a roegadyn, clad in the heaviest of armors with a large axe at his back. He was obviously being paid very well to stand by this noble's side, as the heavy armor was also adorned with a decorative gold plating in some of the raised bits. The armor itself was well taken care of, and the axe had a fine edge. Slight scratches and scuffs showed the armor and weapon were used, and not just for show. He was more than just used as an intimidating force. The hyur looked to Jaques and Chiane before settling his gaze upon Val and Faye. "Ah! My, my, where are my manners?" He bowed with a flourish. "I am Eristan Nicholis Barristal VI, Lord and owner of Barr Industries in Vesper Bay." He rises with his haughty smirk. "Does this mean the illustrious Duskwight is finally reopening this House? I do so miss it. The company that so freely gave themselves to me finally able to act upon it once again?"
  6. Have fun! You will be missed!
  7. A 'friend', hmm? There may not be a 'best of', but there will be something else by the end of November...
  8. The first time I read this, I thought it said "Apostitutes!"
  9. Something Val said returned Vaughn to focus, a slight scowl on his face. It wasn't long ago he thought of just laying down to die. The world outside the brothel was much harder to him and he had difficulty adjusting. Both Jaques and Chiane were witness to that. Still, there was truth to the words. To an extent. He would gladly give his life for Jaques to live, but at the same time fight to survive so the man didn't have to be alone again. And the thought of Jaques dying for him... He didn't dare think it. He leaned heavily against the tall Duskwight, somewhere between protective and possessive. "I would follow wherever Jaques went, given the choice. Even in death." He said the words easily, clearly, without any hint of hesitation. It was something he said before to Jaques, and he still meant it. "This is where I choose to be. Where I belong."
  10. Vaughn hung his head. Her tone made it clear: she was not interested in conversation. He nods slowly. "I'm sorry, Miss. I shouldn't... I thought..." He shakes his head. Nothing he could say would make this situation better. He was clearly out of his element. He bowed low, hopefully showing his sincerity and humility. "I'll go. I'm sorry to make you displeased. It was not my intention." He turned to leave the studio, never making eye contact with the woman.
  11. "Oh, so you don't have a Master..." The thought was spoken louder than intended. In fact, the thought was said. He sighed lightly as he covered his forehead with his hand. "I...ah. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed..." He was messing up again. The only thing he was good at lately. Vaughn tried to turn the conversation around before she became too angry or offended. "I mean...the way you handled that dance... I would have thought...your teacher. Who taught you, if it wasn't someone here?" Smooth. Smooth like a cactuar. He tried to maintain his smile, though was growing increasingly nervous.
  12. I'm glad you two approve. It means a lot to me!
  13. I could come up with something I'm sure. Vaughn is a songwriter, musician, and a poet after all.
  14. I beg to differ. I'm fabulous! Also, my sexy lover prefers me in it.
  15. He smiled slightly, lowering his head at her denial. "I see. Maybe...it was my mistake." He nodded at her question. "Yes. I learned to dance here about...twenty-five cycles ago? It was a long time, and I stopped coming about thirteen cycles past when I...had to move. I've only been back the last seven moons." He finally looked at her with a smile. "I'm more impressed it's even still here. How long have you studied? And, if you don't mind me asking, who do you dance for?"
  16. Vaughn gave her a shallow bow. "Ah! My apologies. I'm Vaughn, miss. I used to come here cycles ago, before..." He shook his head, rethinking his thought. "I...thought this was a public studio. Is it no longer?" He looked over the place once more, looking at the pole with a faint smile "I truely didn't mean to disturb you, Miss...?"
