  1. *Pouts* Fine! Be like that! *runs away crying* But in all seriousness, it will still be good to see you around. Those who decide to RP with you won't regret it!
  2. Welcome back, Farrell! We've missed you! Don't ever hesitate to poke us in game for some random RP!
  3. Thank you again! I'll find you in game and hug you for real when I get home from work!
  4. It had been quite a while since Vaughn stepped foot in that studio, tucked away in the undercity of Ul'dah. In his younger years, he practised every day, then once a week when he started working. As it was, twelve cycles have passed, and this was the first time in the seven moons he's been back that he found himself wandering that way. He needed to practise again. It was more important now than ever, as he was no longer obligated to dance, but wanted to. He wanted to show himself off, the way he could make his body move with his once effortless grace, to please his love. He walked down the stonework hallways, taking in the facility. Nothing had changed, and he was grateful. He didn't have to pretend to know where he was going for once. He knew. And with the building in night-mode and the classes out, he could find that room that would allow him to see his form as he practised. He turned the corner to the mirrored room and hesitated as he saw the blonde woman outstretched on the newly erected pole. Well, that was something he hadn't done in over ten cycles. Not for the dance in any case. For climbing the masts of the ship, but not to entertain. He missed it, suddenly longing to refresh those skills as well. Would his love like it? Or would it be too strange? He watched the woman move, taking analytical mental notes. It should be easy once muscle memory takes over, right? He tilted his head as she moved further up the pole, leaving the doorway to enter the mirrored room and stand to the left of the jamb.
  5. Kage, sweetie, I haven't had an opportunity to RP with you, nor do I know the whole situation, but what was linked as far as the RP chat you posted seemed more like a step forward than a step back. They hashed out their feelings and could make something out of it instead of throwing it away. Unless, of course, things happened before then that made one or the other just not want to be in the relationship anymore... But either way, reading all of this and being the hopeless romantic I am, I still think there's hope for Katalie! And if not, maybe a change of scenery so Kage can get over his heartbreak. I know of a few RPers who love meeting new people and helping out. But, if killing him off is what makes sense for you, I hope to see you around on another exciting character! *hugs*
  6. Well...there's still this ship afloat. Sorry for the tiny-ness. I took this screen mostly for the whole scene. It was soooo pretty o_o
  7. That's pretty much where I draw the line too... if you are not willing to let your character die, do not put him or her in a situation where that is a likely or reasonable outcome. Its ultimately about fun for everyone involved, but at some point someone pretends to be Superman and then its no fun for anyone. Yes... This certainly isn't good either and very frustrating when it happens. Flexibility is good. Repercussions are good. So much this. All of this.
  8. Sometimes, I think this is why Jaques and Vaughn are still together. Then I remember Vaughn is a woman... *shrugs* Anyway... *tries to patch up all the ships* Damn cannons! Stop exploding things!
  9. I...think we need to RP. There will be much misunderstanding and "I'm sorry"s. Also, could be fun =3
  10. If you feel torn about it, you're not ready to do it. Realism be damned. Very much this. There have been a few times where Vaughn was on death's door (twice for sure), but it was "realistically" countered because I wasn't quite ready to kill him. If there is any hesitation, it is not time. With magic being so prevalent, even getting run through by a spear can be mended before you bleed to death. That said, and back to OP topic, I have permadeathed a few characters for story reasons. Sometimes it's a bad guy, sometimes just for feels. But always for a reason. As of this moment, Vaughn's sticking around. He's finally getting his shit together, and is still able to have exciting adventures with his personal story finished. He can now help others with theirs since his demons are dead. Mostly.
  11. Oh, what is not quirky about Vaughn... Has a tendency to avert his gaze when he swears he's looking someone in the eyes.Has a slight stutter when nervous. Fidgets when nervous or stressed. Is easily stressed. Is a firm believer that intimacy is required when one's stressed. Tends to be overprotective of things he owns and people he cares for (this has lost him many of such things). Has a bit of a jealous streak, which is usually overcome by a conversation. Or two. Or five. His Ul'dahn accent has been fading as of late, taking on the tone of whoever he's around. Jaques knows the things I can't remember... Damn list is too long...
  12. So THAT'S what was happening in the Shroud... No wonder those thieves ran off with all the merchandise.
  13. Hey! Don't just limit this to the roe and highlander. Although I can completely understand leaving out the maleqo'te. Touchy-feely the lot of them. *flees* Agreed. I quite enjoy the bear hugs my man gives =3 And maleqo'te touchyness doesn't need to get worse...
  14. Remy watched the group as they headed down the stairs to the basement, about to follow. He stopped after one step when he caught Jaques's glare and mouthed command. His upper lip twitched, fighting a sneer as he begrudgingly obeyed. He waited for the group to disappear around the spiral before stationing himself just outside the kitchen, close enough to the basement. Should he hear anything out of the ordinary, he'd be ready, and then Jaques would be glad he didn't entirely listen. Vaughn, after checking the cooking dishes, followed closely behind Jaques as usual, listening to the exchange among the other four. He didn't have much to add at this point, so he just paid attention to the mental tick in his head, counting down the time when it would be time to prepare the dishes for the guests and themselves. He leaned in close as Jaques wrapped his arm around his waist, his own hand rubbing across the small of the larger man's back to rest at his hip, idly trailing his fingers up and down his side. Vaughn paid attention mostly to the conversation, glancing at Chiane with a faint, nervous smile, before noticing the lalafell on the other side of the screens. He smiles as he watched the tiny man fiddle with his books, squeezing Jaques's side a bit tighter without realizing it.
  15. Nothing! Except maybe a dog pulling the covers over herself... Or that tongue as she sleeps
  16. More proof of Dusky superiority... *licks that dark chocolate chest* Mmm, mine
