If I didn't just drop $120 on a tattoo, I'd drop $120 on like a zillion pictures of Raeje scrawling poetry, Raeje playing her magiteck lute, Raeje in her bard hat and bard pants, Raeje looking insane, Raeje just being an insane beat poet.

Sorry I can never participate in this anymore. I finish work an hour later than I used to, so it's already over when I get home. I do miss it though. You guys are amazing!

Hi, I'm just returning from the game after a 3 month hiatus. My main is on Balmung in a performance guild, but sometimes I like to wonder and go to different places to see what styles of entertainment guilds they have to offer. Just returning to the game after a 3 month hiatus. I know we know each other via tumblr. I reblog your stuff, you reblog mine, that kind of stuff, but I've been wanting to level a tank. I tried once and got kicked out of the first dungeon. The BEGINNER dungeon. It kind of put me off ever learning to tank outside of a group willing to help me for the rest of my life. I haven't finished the story yet, but I have a 63 Arcanist and a 61 Bard, so I have a DPS and a healer pretty far up there. I want a tank to complete all 3. I'm wanting to go with the easiest tank possible, like press one button and go. No stress. Nobody sending me death threats if I fail, just simple tanking. I'm honestly scared to death of tanking. Also, I'd like to join for another reason. I'm wanting to get some of my crafting/gathering levels up. Not all of them necessarily, but certainly botanist, weaver, carpenter, stuff that will help me as a performer/bard/healer. So, please let me know if you have any spots available. I'm Raeje Draeka in game also by the way.

I'm of the same view as everyone else. Race doesn't matter, it's what you feel your character belongs as that matters. If you're feeling a little unsure about playing "another cutesy cat girl", don't be. Although there are those few players who see cattes as nothing more than the race of those who want to be all cute, sexy, and adorable, that's not true. I know a hell of a lot of extremely well played Miq'ote, who leave that cuteness behind, even though they are the stereotypical sexy race. So go ahead and play the race. If you want to play a sexy Miq'ote, go for it, because it's your character, so you can play it however you like. If you don't want to go down the cute route, and want to avoid all of that stereotypical stuff, go the complete opposite way. Sure, there may still be people who say you're weird, or whatever, but ultimately, it's your character. Don't let others decide how you play them, or what race you chose to be.

Raeje doesn't drink too often (She's a fogweed smoker though. Naughty bard). However, when she does drink, it has similar effects to when she is on stage. Her social anxiety seems to just melt away, and she can feel at ease around people. She feels mellow, and has no problems talking to others. That's after quite a few drinks though. Just one isn't going to do anything.
