1. She nods, smiling still. "Its my pleasure, Krell, master of none!" she laughs softly, "You should come by more often then!" She grasps his hand as he offers it, standing up to help pull him back onto his feet.
2. "Do I know you?" The Hyur girl looked back quizzically at first as he asked if he knew her, her long blonde hair falling down her shoulders. "I know you! Well....I mean I've seen you. You work at the Quicksand, right?" She flashed a bright grin, and nodded, "That's right! I work for Momodi, I help serve customers there most evenings. My name's 'Aya', have I seen you there before?"
3. In an alternate universe there is an Aya startled, and wondering why a random, clumsy little Lalafel would be screaming at her... In this world she smiles softly, bending at the knees as she lowers herself to the ground beside the fellow, "I'm just fine! You may want to pay more attention walking around some place this crowded though. Wouldn't want a Roegadyn to step on you!"
4. That's the funny thing about Arrrrgh "P"... sometimes you get dragged right along anyway! When it happens, it happens! I just don't like to become a lynch pin in anything since my time is pretty variable, and I don't like to schedule much in the summer
5. My point was not: "Alcoholics can be smart." My point was actually on topic! "The real-world equivalents to in-game arcanists are more than capable of being heavy drinkers or binge drinkers", and when young and in training are even more likely to be! Certainly such an analogy has its weak points, but I think the case for Limsan Arcanists being teetotalers is even weaker than the case for real world intellectuals, since a) they lack the science you are citing b) they are surrounded by a hard-drinking culture c) they have even less to do for fun in their free time! Just my two cents on the likelihood of it all, though I am still rather convinced that the main point here is that there is room for any sort of drinking habits for an arcanist character. If yours refuses to drink because he doesn't like its affects on his studies, then that makes sense. If another likes to study hard and then party hard, that makes sense too
6. I don't intend to join this plot as an active participate, but as always Aya is available for tie-ins for whatever reason
7. TOM WAITS, yeah! I'm a fan of this one, and pretty much anything else he's done, but this is my fave: OHGG3vj5kcQ I really enjoyed this! I've never heard it before Wow there's a lot of good music in this thread, really enjoying it right now
8. If you don't think that intellectuals and knowledge-based professionals are capable of heavy drinking or binge drinking, then you don't know enough intellectuals! There's plenty of room for any sort of drinking behavior you wish for your character.
9. You should be able to use a USB or bluetooth keyboard with the PS I think? Seems like a necessary investment to RP Hope you're able to get to Balmung or Gilgamesh!

New here~!

Hiiii! Welcome to Balmung!
11. Aya smiled pleasantly, just a hint of mischief dancing in her blue eyes. "I can spare a few minutes!" She turned around, her lips twitching a little as she tries to fight off the grin that pushes across her smile. Her finger dances a bit over a few different pieces she had been admiring, her eyes darting from one to another. They finally settle upon one of the belly chain, intricate silver metal work decorated with a few metal charms and gem stones. Aya grins as she points it out to the shopkeeper, her gaze shifting to Midna, "I believe my friend will be purchasing this."
12. Aya smiled softly to the shop keeper as she dropped a few of Momodi's coins into his hand. The jingle of coins was quickly replaced with the commotion of the stumbling Lalafel. The Hyur girl nimbly moved aside on her heels boots, letting out a little gasp as she watched him tumble. "Oh my!" she exclaimed, "Are you alright?"
13. You want a spot on the wait list? xDD Oh, no! Thank you though ^^ I was just cheering on Osric!!

17. Hiiiiiiii! Welcome to Balmung!
18. I don't have any particular voice in mind, but I always imagined Kage having a sort of sonorous and confident voice (for a Lalafel) that belied the lack of confidence he so often publicly shows.
19. Marion CotillardBlwh5oG-HdE Why, Anne Parillaud, of course! 64la0fbwJpU But perhaps that's because I've always pictured C'kayah as voiced by Jean Reno... QhvPt_SvbY4 Oh Gus! I like that suggestion, but I think I like C'kayah's even better so wonderful, thank you guys! And Jean Reno... Oh là là...
20. I'm actually kind of curious who other people would think Aya's voice sounds like.. I haven't really thought about it myself, though to get her accent right you'd need a French speaker, and I do not know many French actresses..
21. Aya stepped out of the hallway, and into the main room of the Quick Sand with a smile on her lips. She looked upward, taking rare note of the atrium-like design of the building, its high ceiling that seemed to amplify any background noise from the chatter below. She looked about as a few patrons took lunch, and then stepped over to the bar to speak with Momodi. She was dressed normally for her, a short skirt and high, heeled boots. A short cloak was draped around her shoulders falling to her knees, with a hood hanging against her back. She had put her hair up, a long braid wrapped around and helping keep everything in place, a pony tail left that hung down just below her shoulders. The conversation was excited, and brief. She took a moment to pull her cloak fully over her bare shoulders, a necessary protection for the fair-skinned against the Ul'dahn sun, before picking up a small basket, a list, and a small pouch of gil. With energetic steps she was soon out the door and on her way to the market!
22. Aya was not that far from Nono, ensconced in her own little room at the Quick Sand. The mid-morning sun baked against the southern wall of the inn, filling her room with a familiar oven-like heat, despite the unseasonably cool weather of the last few days. She had come to accept the heat that assaulted the room each day, using it to fuel her morning workouts, and at that moment she was enjoying the respite of a cool shower, to sweep away the residue of that exercise. Laid out on her bed where clothes for the day, and before long she would be off to the market to buy a few things before starting her shift at the Quick Sand later that afternoon. Just the start of another exciting day..
23. He's so recognizable as Crisiet... that's scary!
