Fabulous! I get off work in about.... 7.5 hours (yay 2nd shift!)... but 3 day weekends are amazing.

Sadly I am at work right now! :-(

I'm glad so see so many people looking to get around and gossip get to know each other while crafting! I created a linkshell temporarily named "Crafting Circle". A little thing for me to vent about today. I get up this morning as I do every morning to get some gathering and crafting progress done on my character. I notice my cell phone lost battery the previous night because I forgot to plug it in. No big deal right? Just let it charge a bit, boot it up, and open my square enix token. Well, the phone started fine but when I went into the Square Enix token app it was BACK at the registration screen asking for the registration password. Not to mention I can't log into my Manage Account Service page because it requires the onetime password to log in. So I try to 'emergency password' removal. That doesn't work because apparently my emergency password doesn't match what they have in their system. No biggie... I'll contact customer support I'm sure they will help me get this handled. I submit a ticket and call their customer service line.... and promptly receive a recorded message saying they are closed for the holiday. *hangs head* :frustrated: I'm hoping customer service DOES open up today and I at least get an email about my token. But that was NOT a good start to my day and I just want to go back to bed and start over again.

Though I will not be able to come. Congratulations to the happy couple! And, why do I feel Faith may be a long lost cousin or something

Hello all of Balmung! My name is Ellavione, but my friends call me Ella. You may have seen my Elezen running around Gridania half naked because I keep forgetting which crafting armor pieces I've converted to materia or stored on my retainer (or I could just be a serial streaker you never know!). I've recently returned to the game after a year's hiatus and had a TON of catching up to do. The sad thing about catching up on your job and crafting levels is that it does not leave much time for RP or socializing, especially when you work nights (like myself). With that said I am seeking a few (or a lot!) of new friends to form a bit of a crafting circle were everyone could catch up on the latest gossip while getting some progress done on those pesky crafting levels or replenishing your items for the market board. Basic Info Characters: Ellavione Bourdeaux Primary character: Ellavione Bourdeaux Linkshells: None but looking for a few good LSs Primary RP linkshell: None but looking for somewhere to hang my helmet [*] II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium to heavy depending on the day Views on RP combat and injuries: I am always open to in character combat and injuries as long as theyevolve from fair and cooperative RP instances. I like to take into account the level differences/experience IC between characters. But, with that said I believe it could make for some fun and exciting story lines if done correctly and without godmoding. Views on IC romance: I am a strong fan of IC romances. But I like for them to be interestingand mutually satisfying. Meaning, I prefer for them to evolve naturally. Let the RP lead the way. I would prefer that OOC conversations do not dictate any IC relationships (romantically) before any IC experiences. And in the same respect I don’t like character’s relationships ending through OOC conversation without any IC interactions leading up to it. Unless the other party just disappears. Then I will play that you’ve abandoned my character and she had to ‘move on’ viewing you as dead. It just makes it feel less organic and more scripted. Also remember. It is a story in a fantasy world. No crossover into the RL setting is possible. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): My character’s storylines always leave openings for family ties if otherplayers wish to form a link with them. But, for friends, enemies, and other forms of non-romantic RP my answer is the same as romantic RP. I love to watch the IC story evolve and change. I am someone who can separate IC interactions from OOC interactions so I do not need for every player to get along with my IC personas and I am not someone who is afraid of IC conflict. Meaning I am open to enemies evolving from RP as well ;-) Views on lore: I love the rich lore that the world of the game provided. There are somany avenues to go down and so much history to pull from. It is a great springboard for some colorful interactions. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Eachchannel has it’s place. I typically view /say IC 100% of the time and /EM is IC when in the appropriate setting. I’ve been known to /em bonk often ooc. Any linkshells I follow what the intended purpose for them are whether it be IC, OOC, or just a joke of the day type atmosphere =) [*] III.
