In the game we do have a need for another melee class. On top of that there's a ton of elemental empowering spells for weapons that only monsters can use. It would be nice to see those put to use if not on Red Mage then on an actual Fencer class. I think they're probably going to merge the two kinda like what you were saying.

My Hyur character was raised on a ranch and had to do farm work. She uses her many years of manual labor and boredom in her combat style. Think..stick fighting on a fence post but with a shovel and pitchfork instead. Thus she uses a re-purposed pitchfork for her combat to fight as a dragoon. For things maurader related, she's more or less a woman in heavy armor beating enemies to death with a heavy bladed shovel. For her it's about using the skills she already has from doing simpler things.

I think modelling a chocobo off an ostrich if there's nothing official is probably the best way to do this. I was actually doing it already on my chocobo breeder dragoon character.

No no. In game Wyra runs around with the wind-up shantotto minion out at all times. Instead of being a wind-up shantotto it's essentially a placeholder for her twin sister instead. So you see two lalafell looking things at the same time.

If you intend to go a step further than simple conjury however.. The elements won't forsake a white mage from using their power no matter what reason. Becoming a white mage is rather hard though by conventional means because it was being used for evil by a large amount of people according to the job storyline.

I find paladin tanking pretty fun as well..(even though the game hates me AND GAVE ME IFRIT'S AXE. THANKS BLIZZ.) Anyway I was sort of in the same boat. I got all the way up to 50 as a whm. half geared her up and just..stopped playing the Whm. Now I swapped her over to a tank and I've been having a bit more fun playing again. Though most of the time if I get horribly bored of leveling I just RP until I feel like doing so again. Usually seeing people in fancy and cool gear gets me into a leveling mood if not to just have better RP gear.

In my case, the twins are pretty much IC everywhere. She probably wouldn't be considered IC though if the shantotto doll is gone. (It would be extremely rare for Wyra to be IC without her sister and she'd likely do a walk-up if that were the case.)

Wyra would probably wonder why you're touching her before yelling "Hello!" at you. Torora would likely scream if it was a sudden touch that she couldn't see coming and then hide behind her sister.

By the way if anyone knows of a good FC or LS to join for RP, feel free to shamelessly plug it as much as you want here. I've been looking to shove these two into a good home and see what happens. :thumbsup:

I was always a fan of the shorter races in games. Lalafell were just perfect! Plus I managed to get a wind up doll and I just saw a perfect hilarious character combo in the making.

Aha! I've been watching things here and there...kinda upset the game still has no chat bubbles or what not.. ICly the twins are likely to wander up to anyone. Wyra is sort of reckless like that. I'm a returning player to Balmung from a little break I took shortly after the game launched. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium/Heavy Views on RP combat and injuries: Combat and injuries happen. Wyra would likely try and avoid combat for her sisters' sake. They have a tank and healer type relationship if it ever came to a fight though. Wyra in the front taking the hits and Torora in the back supporting her with magic. Views on IC romance: IC romance is always fun. Honestly somebody trying to spark an IC romance between these twins would be fairly interesting. They are rarely seen apart and if someone were to set their sights on Torora..well..Wyra would probably poke them with the pointy end of her sword. The main issue I usually have with IC romances though is that (at least in my experience) most are started by people who end up leaving the game mid way through. Most of the time without even saying a word. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Family is great! Just ask the twins...well..maybe give a few days from the post so I can think up members of their family. They have each other though! When it comes to friendships, I'm all for it but that's on you and these two to develop. They more or less have their own preferences which you'll just have to interact with them to figure out. Views on lore: I'm typically a huge lore nerd in video games. Sadly I'm not fully caught up on the lore of FF14 so forgive me if I suddenly go quiet for a few minutes to look something up. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I just use the standard /say and /em for roleplaying. The occasional whisper as well when a character is whispering to another.
