Est. 1363 of the Sixth Astral Era ⊰ BPT ⊱ The Black Pearl Trading Co. (BPT) was formed by the Ford family in Limsa Lominsa sometime around 1363 of the Sixth Astral Era. It was not always called the BPT. When it first started out the company shipped/traded only by sea. The small amount of ships they had carried mostly the basic essentials: clothing, pelts/leather, foods/spices, ore. As time passed and their reputation grew the Fords expanded their fleet and horizons by adding land trading/shipping and adding precious cargo such as rare spices, fine fabrics, and jewelry/gems. At some point in time they began to stain their ship darker in order to separate them from the other companies. Because the more precious cargo became the staple of their trade they donned the name ‘Black Pearl Trading Co.’ to incorporate both their cargo and their dark ships. Being passed down throughout generations lead the company into the hands of William Ford. He was not a man to just sit back and rake in the profit; often he went with ships to help and gave satisfying pay to the employees. Vorsaile, a dear friend was his second in command who keep the paperwork(reports, cargo lists, gil moving in and out of the co.) in check. Due to family tradition the company was pass down to his next of kin, who in turn handed the company to Vorsaile not soon after in order to pursue her dream of traveling. Vorsaile placed the undesired leader as his second in command, as he believed her to be a viable asset to the company's future. Currently, the company flourishes, shipping and trading by sea, land, and air. As their company grows, employees are needed, and thus Vorsaile sometimes open up recruitment in search of hard working individuals to add to their growth.

I've also heard that, and that the quality is inconsistent (like the Graphite one is pretty universally panned), but this particular one (Color Field) is supposedly one of the best ones. I've also heard the shadows are extremely soft, similar to Lorac shadows. I've only used Lorac's skinny palette in nude once, on my mother, so I'm not super familiar with their shadows. @__@; -

I've heard these can be a pain to use. Apparently they get all muddy due to not being in separate pans. If you get it, tell us how it works out! The colors look really nice. -
Its a wabbit.

Hnnnngh! Liadan! These colors look awesome! And they're only six bucks!? Yes, please. They seem to have a lot of good reviews, too. I'm currently sitting here deciding on which colors I want to splurge on. Definitely buying myself at least two or three. I haven't tried their more recent formula, but their mattes are really good I thought. I didn't like their liquid mattes, but I also bought them in really dark colors and that might have been the issue for me (I generally don't wear dark colors). These are the ones I'm going for: https://colourpop.com/product/dopey/ https://colourpop.com/product/frick-n-frack/ Probably my favorite one of theirs so far is: https://colourpop.com/product/lumiere/ Uggghhhh, I've wanted Lumière for ages. I'm going to have to break down and buy it sometime. ; w ; You should get it. I'm seriously thinking about picking up her collab eyeshadow, Weenie. It's such a pretty rose color. I think I might next time I have some extra cash. Weenie is a really cute color, tho I'm leaning more towards Porter cause its purple. Maybe I'll just get Where The Night Is, it has a nice green with it. I'm not super fond of yellows, but I'm sure I'd be able find a way to use it to my liking(or throw it at a friend). But first things first! Lumière! D< In other news, I got the PB&J palette from Too Faced. It smells AMAZING, I want to gobble it all up. ; w ; It applies really well too. -

Scorching desert air cast vibrating shadows across the dusty landscape and wooden structures that made up the small trade post known as Scorpion Crossing. Outside it’s walls were wooden dummies, all too familiar to D’ly who stood a few yalms away with a resting basket on her forearm. From under her capeline she stared at their lonesomeness. He wasn’t there. She inhaled deeply as she pulled her bottom lip into her mouth, wetting the chapped skin before letting it drag back out from between her teeth. She exhaled through her nose. He was never there. What was there, resting on the ground near the dummy was a crude wooden carving. It was the third one she had found in the past fortnight, alongside numerous other items; a belt, a shoe, sometimes food or a drink that her friend often forgot during, what she assumed was, his escape to avoid her. She picked up the sad lump of wood to examine it, brushing away any grass and dirt that stuck to the rough grains with her thumb. A tender smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she folded back the cloth that covered a half a loaf of bread and wine that sat snug in her basket. She set the carving inside; an addition to her ever growing collection in her room, back at the Driftin’ Sol. The smile faded from her lips, as did the carving from her sight as she covered it and the other contents with the cloth. She took a quick glance at her nearby surroundings for any additional items, and found nothing more. As she turned to start her return trip to the Goblet, her green hues passed over the ever presence Lalafell who stood atop the southern wooden structure, behind the dummies. She never had seen the man before the month she started searching for her friend, and she made note of how he never looked directly at her. It was little actions like so that convinced her was a lookout of sorts, hired by her friend to tell him her movements. She frowned at the thought as she made her way up the stone steps, the basket on her arm, though it weighed her chest.
