Forest green boots lined in gold trim up the outside plodded alongside a matching pair of black ones, their movements almost matching even as they rounded the corner going down one of the back alleys within the city. A foot caught on a something sturdy and slightly rolled with her as she tried to take the next step but caught as well. Hands quickly pushed out, but she only saved her head from hitting the floor. Speaking as she pulled her legs to her, the toes of her boots sliding though the blood over the stonework. She stood slowly and turned her eyes to where Thrysa's were and gasped. "Oh dear, had to be the night that I came back, didn't it." Shaking her head she pulled her hand up to her ear. "Ossy... I need you here in Ul'dah as soon as possible, there's a body in the alley off of Pearl Lane. Bring help." "I'm close to the Weavers Guild." "See you and the others soon." While Kanaria was speaking over the pearl to her other half, Thysa had crouched down, inspecting the body. She didn't touch it at all, knew better in her dealings with other such things. "Find anything?" She asked, lifting a brow and bent down with her, looking over the guised figure and the blood pool that surrounded him. "Hmm... what's this?" Brows furrowed as a gloved hand reached out and pulled the bag open with a finger. "Eh, lug nuts? Seems whatever this man was being paid for in trade got the shaft..." "Got more than that Kanaria... He's dead.. Well, if it is a he... That... and he's been stabbed several times..." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath through her nose, trying to sort out the different scents around them. "Mm. Gods there's... there's a mixture of smells here that are really really familiar, but..." She growled low. "I can't..." She balled her right hand into a fist and shook it as she pursed her lips, irritated with herself. "It's so familiar, I just can't put a finger on it..." With a sigh she pushed up with her feet and came to as stand. "Well we best wait for Ossy and the others before we doing anything more. "Help me stand guard 'til he gets here?" A slow shake of her head was given. "No... I can't..." She sniffed at the air again. "I'm going to follow this and see where it leads. Call me and let me know if you find out anything more. Oh same if Ossy needs me..." She didn't wait for her friend to speak before she made her way off, slowly following the aroma. Her boots leaving signs that she'd been there, but the red wore off not long after. Kanaria nodded to her. "I hope you find whomever it was... and stay safe Thrysa." She smiled as she watched her go but turned her eyes back down to the one on the ground. "What happened to you?" Shaking her head in dismay as she spoke to herself. With a huff she crossed her arms, watching for the others and Ossy.

Running into Kahn'a last night as well as a man named Garrett had been happenstance, but it turned out to be something she needed. Something for her to do, keep her hands busy for a time. To get back into working with the ones she had first started working with, her friends...her family here on Eorzea. Kahn'a would have the papers ready for her in a suns time though it hadn't even been a sun when she went to check her mail at the house. A smooth smile lifted to her pale lips at the hand writing upon the envelope that she pulled from the small box. Thank you Kahn'a... I will be sure to tread carefully. Fingers moved swiftly to open it up, and pull the parchment free. Already lavender eyes ran quickly over the writing of the transcripts as she unfolded the papers. Kanaria knew about where she had to be last night and now... She knew exactly where she needed to be, where to churn up the dirt to get what she would need to help her friends. She would wait, she wasn't in any hurry, she had to any way. There were no additional papers for a warrant to dig dirt. Nightfall would have to come before she could head out so prepare is what she would do. A cloak was gathered along with a shovel and a ruck sack to carry her treasure once she had her hands on it. She'd leave these behind for now, on the couch in their room. Their... I need to tell Ossy... I'll need help. She shook her head, it could wait, he was working it could wait. Feet took her out the door of their room, and out the door of the Red Wings. Right up to her trusty Horsebird, Sierra. "Come on..." She patted the side of her neck before climbing up on. "We've got a job to do." She steered the abyssal blue bird about face and took off. Headed for Dry Bone. It didn't take her any time at all before she was moving though Dry Bone up to the cemetery. Pulling Sierra to a walk, the papers were pulled out and looked over again. Making doubly sure she knew where she had to go. She caught the eyes of a few there, some mourning the loss of loved ones, others the caretakers of the chapel that was there along with the grounds. She'd not been here much, but she knew the difference between the two. She'd had her own bout with loss not all to long ago, so to those she gave a soft nod and a warm smile in passing, to the rest a polite smile. More than likely they would think nothing of her passing though... Perhaps she was looking to mourn the loss of a loved one herself. Here. She pulled back the reins lightly and clawed feet stopped before the unmarked grave site. The dirt fairly fresh over the mound. Lavenders took a quick look about, then slipped off the chocobo and made for the side of the raised dirt to kneel. Ten minuets was about all she needed to make it look good before mounting her bird again and heading out towards home. "Ossy?" "I need your help..." "No, I'm safe. We'll talk when you get home." "Love you, see you soon dearheart."

Well this has been a long time coming. With no worries [ for now ] the couple can sit and have a peaceful meal. [ Even if Jaspar has made a mess of his feed on the table. ]

Kanaria is an open book for the most part... Only a handful know that she was deposited on the doorsteps of an Elezen families house as a babe. [Hence her surname.] She has a brother that she rarely speaks of, due to the fact he's not around all that often, and honestly just showed up from across the Jade Sea a few moons back. There is two more things... One only two know about, possibly three if he's not dead. However, that is something I really won't even talk about unless necessary. Same goes for the second, Osric only knows the details about this. Then again... He knows everything about her... Odd how that works.
