The hosts and hostesses chosen this themselves. We can determine the danger ourself, we're all adults. Thanks for your concern but we'll manage. We'll handle the "harasment" stuff ourselves. How about you just keep busy either enjoying the event without worrying how to run it, and just have... fun, and not try to suck fun out of the air from everyone around you, or just ignore the event and let people who wanna have fun have their fun. Come to the event, put a smile on your face and enjoy. That's all ♥

Although I agree with the RL gender stuff, as I was a hardcore RP-er in 1.0, non-rpers don't. This event is focused on everyone, and the hosts and most of the people don't care about such details, at all.. They don't even notice such a detail. It is hosted by people who don't rp and don't care about whether your rl gender is whatever. This event is an invitation, not focused on you guys. You can say "Sure, looks fun, might hope over and have some fun, even though I know it's not rp at all" or you can say "I won't go. I dislike non-rp players and their priorities. Though I won't whine about details that other people might enjoy and we, will keep to our server instead, liking the way it is and keeping on rp-ing the way we want" This is NOT an rp event.. it's an event where we invited rpers because we thought they might like it. Like Kylin said already, it's all in good spirit, we did not want to exclude any sub-community and therefor extend our hands to yours. Again, we don't care a single bit about rl gender or not, nor the fact that it's stated... At all.. Ever. The post is a copy from the official forums/reddit, it's not focused or edited to the rp community. In fact, you guys are the first and only ones that actually made a fuss about that detail.

Please keep in mind. This event is a community event, it's not an official RP event at all nor was it ever planned to be. It's an event meant for fun to everyone, RP-ers and non-RPers alike. From the hardcore endgamers to the hardcore rp-ers. It's not MEANT to be an RP event in any way possible. It's an event to simply have fun for valentines day because.. fun! IF you think you should take this CASUAL EVENT so seriously indeed, think of it as a non-canon event (an ooc event). There will be rp-ers, there will be non rp-ers. Again, just make it clear, this event is NOT focused on the rp community at all, the only reason that I thought people here might like it cause it felt like an rp event indeed, and thought that maybe people in this particular community would like to have fun along with us. That's all. Also no, we do not condone any erp (and please don't be so hypocritical, everyone says they are against erp and meanwhile they are pulling off Miqo'te panties around the corner..) Regardless, we don't condone erp, cybering, sexual harasment or any of such. This event is meant to be a Valentines event, this means a loving event, not a sexual event. Love and valentines days means flirting, asking someone out, having general fun while drinking a cup of coffee while enjoying eachother's company. That's all. There will be NO sexual events like erp, and this will not be tolerated in any sense! Also keep in mind that the Host of this event ( Nariko and Kaiyoko) are not familiar with the RP community in any way. They don't know about the rules and regulations (like where RL gender has no effect on IC happenings.) Please don't harass them about such a puny detail, they simply don't know the RP community that well. All they wanted was to extend their hand to you guys and hope that maybe you'd like to come over for an evening of fun and laughs, nothing more, nothing less. This post was directed not only to the rp community, but also the rest of FFXIV which include people who do not rp and are indeed concerned with RL gender. Not everyone thinks alike, please respect this. Yes, it might be a mistake or just blatant ignorance about posting that detail, but again, I ask you to keep in mind that Nariko does not know the RP community. It's all in good spirit. All in all, I really hope you guys can come and just have a good time together without assumptions, discrimination and harassment over details that don't even really matters. If you don't like this event or disagree with it, that's fine, absolutely fine. Don't come then, ignore it then, but let the people who -do- wanna come have their good time without being judged or pressured. No one told you to come, it's an open invitation coming from non-rpers, keep that in mind. Love, Miu, an Honorable host of this event.~

Either write the full rules or enforce your own rules factly. Apperently I got strikes for.. RPC Forums behaviour?! Also might be polite to -tell- the person he got striked?

Everytime I come on the forum I see drama. Stfu and RP/play the game, geez. Don't you guys have anything better to do then just stupid argueing over every stupid little thing? Grow up.

Didn't notice :3 An amaazing post as it is! Anyhow I'm with Riku, nearing the same type of RP as he does, though more.. freedom. Like him I like to stay IC as much as I can, loving RP and trying to encourage it to RP-ers around me, though I won't push anyone if they don't want to of course, after all it's their life and their decisions. On the freedom note I do notice that I.. use lore that's not exactly -there-, but almost very very sure that there is. For example I noted in my characters Biography some references to Arcany, it's not exactly in game as being a class and such, but we all know there -is- an arcanist guild in game, and that the class -will- be released one of these days. Hence I like to prepare my character already for such thing instead of waiting and suddenly "Miyu can now use arcany" all of a sudden when the class does get released. I think this adds character and depth so one's character. Same with stuff like Freeze, Flare, Ultima, Holy, Meteor, etc etc, as she researches them even though they are not... "oficially" in game just yet. Though openly going against lore I dislike, I won't go around saying. "I am the Admiral of Limsa" and that kind of stuff, in my opinion that does break the lore. -Although-, and yes here comes the exception. If you play a villian (and you know how villians are) I think that for the sake of a good story... you should be allowed to overrule some of the general rules and maybe even lore sometimes. I mean that if your villian is a rank 50 (or just 1 if you created a villian just for this particular storyline), and gets challanged by 10 other rank 50's, the villian could (could, not should) be able to inflict considerably damage to the challengers. This can make the story way more intense, better, more fun and really create a villian that can be... well.. villian like! Not saying you should go around uldah and ultima everything around you, that might be a bit over the top though Of course, these kinds of things should be discussed in an OOC manner before doing such a thing to prevent drama and other meh-ness. A thing about the meta-comment, it's not the "wrong" of the emoter who does a "/em sighs, feeling annoyed about her plushe being gone." as that's a way to bring depth to what he/she says, it's the "wrong" of the one reading and acting upon that to -use- that information that they could never know unless specifically said to. This is called metagaming. Also, right and wrong are relative terms. A serial killer believes he's right, and we're wrong after all. It's all the way of how your mind sees things and makes a theory about it. In fact, I believe there -is- no right and wrong, only opinions, which should be respected... imho. I'd love to come to this, though why on a monday ; ;, especially at such a time ; ; Though I do support these kind of events and I will try to make it, maybe even just for an hour if I can.

As Gospel is trying to safe the shel by putting up some (saddenly necesary) rules,I think I can try to stay one last time, hoping it will safe the RP community from splitting once again. I sincerely hope these rules will bring OOC back to what it once was again, the three points that Gospel said in his post. I am willing to do moderation in this shell of course, being unbiased, online a -lot- and EU-based I think I can be quite valuable.

Due to recent events, mostly to some of nebulous behaviour (Not just this, they have been trolling and harrassing longer, just other people ignore it, Miyuki could not) I am rather shocked.. Aysun that's just sad, we've been over this over and over again, knowing FULLY well Nanami doesn't like this you just -need- to write it down over and over again, learn to respect someone else's opinion/view/quality of life for once. How hard can one rule be? Well.. apperently really hard. The idea was to break cliques, you know, small groups of friends (that were once strangers as well) but that kinda failed. Although some people made up with eachother, the cliques have become stronger and stronger.. You ask for help, no on responds, someone else asks for help, everbody from said shell responds... Kinda sad really. Cause and effect.~

Besides some members of nebulous obviously and menacingly trolling Miyuki in provoking reactions out of her intentionally and trying to make her angry on purpose in a very forced and really sad/pathetic way at that, over and over again, which she mostly ignored.. I don't see drama? If this is drama, anything is drama. Punishing the entire shell just because one small group of bullies (what, 4-5 people) can't behave themselves?

Mouse Icon: Annoying. Also: the site is extremely slow on college computers, mobile phones and other non-home computers, too many things are loading, too many images, shiny thigns and basically bad coding.

>///< Some pictures: Some additional info: Miyu has a straight scar on her spine, from neck all the way back to her tailbase. A small scratch scar on her nose. Also a scar on her right index finger, like it has been severed once. And a tiny chip from her top left ear. Her body is rather small, not too bad of a figure, nothing annorexia like, but not like fat either, a nice curvy inbetween, though not too many curves.. and maybe a slight belly due to Tessa's snack. She's a 34B. Her skin is pretty white and so is her hair, naturally due the entire ice-like theme, with her personality to match, cold and... slightly evil :3 White-mage Red eyes. Like most other Sunseekers, no fangs, fluffy short tail. Totally agreed, I didn't want to turn your words against you not mean anythign in any agressive way, nor insulting, nor is it in any way really contributing to the current topic and discussiona t hand. I do appologize, again. It's a very very busy time and have got a lot of things on my mind that I wont go into detail to, so I am a tad... volatile these days :3
