I find it more like it's a "thumbs up" from people not only just RPing with you, but just happened to be in the general vicinity that liked your RP. ... which probably still qualifies as ego, doesn't it? @_@

Full disclosure: The prospect of reading/writing rumors was the largest appeal to me making a wiki page. They really are. Feels interactive! And it's just fun to know what other people's character say about yours. Cool concept in general.

To everyone for the RP last night (forgive me if I forget names >_<); that RP was AWESOME. Jancis: Awesome as always, girl. Alveo: You actually spoke up! Those little OOC snippets were cool. Rinilda: Definitely caught Oscare's glance every once in a while and caused some tension between them. This is what you get for putting two highlanders together. Primary RP linkshell: Knuckles II. RP Style [*] Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I consider myself more on the heavy side. I like to do my PvE and PvP things a lot, but I'm in character very often and I love roleplay. I can switch between either of them flexibly. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm okay with combat, as long as they don't take a very long time. Usually 1 1/2~2 1/2 hours are my cut off. I'll get bored afterwards (unless the other person is VERY interesting and can somehow hook my attention for longer). Also, I like to keep it within reason of reality. In other words, don't go anime and jump a million feet in the air and slam with the force to knock the Earth out of orbit. I'm lenient about this, though. Views on IC romance: Oscare doesn't mind it, I don't mind it. I don't actively look for it, they just kind of happen. I'm okay with ERP too, as long as it's not... freaky. >_> Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): LOVE THEM. Usually with family, I have most of them preplanned but no one to actually execute them with. If anyone is interested in playing sisters or whatever, that's fine. Otherwise, I like to keep relations IC. If you want to work something out though, contact me. Views on lore: I believe in having wiggle room, yes. But don't do something that would very clearly break the story of the game. Keep it within reason, don't pretend primals don't exist or Ultima Weapon didn't happen. Otherwise, I'm pretty lenient. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I tend to keep thing within /s, /emote, and /l#. I use /tell if Oscare is speaking quietly, and will use "this format" to imply I'm IC. Marking targets is probably one of the most useful tools this game offers. Its great for learning parties (Garuda Exreene, ignore the spiny plume) and to priortize targets (pesky Gremlin in Lost City). It's a tool often unused for whatever reason. Honestly, I have it keybound to my primary mouse button, its a very convenient place to mark targets quickly.
