Its been awhile since my last post here on RPC and that is due in short to the great development of characters and stories that we've had a great deal of joy encountering. We recently have had an influx of new faces join our ranks and have themselves introduced new elements to an old establishment, elements that we've come to embrace and wear as a mantle of pride. Those following members are: Cartie Grimshadow K'hylia Fhey Jariana Rinjahl Kai Sephtis We would like to also make it a point to identify that we are not restricted to just free company involvement. We offer an option for those tied to a free company to enjoy our roleplay and stories, to be apart of our structure through linkpearl as well. Though the rewards may be richer if part of the company directly, there is in no small part a large sense of belonging just being a part of our pearl. Definitely Red Mage. I miss my old girl from Final Fantasy XI. Remembering the times I spent in Juno sitting there looking up in the sky with fellow players, or sitting in the dark in some ruins waiting for a coffer to spawn. Though the class specifically just felt like a true jack-of-all trades. Which was fun, and in the old days before the last two expansions the red mage was very useful. I went back recently and still played my old red-mage, it just felt right even though some people looked over me as if I wasn't a good fit for their party. Great Class!

First she is an adorable character, secondly even though it is brief I think that is what brings for the mystique around her. After all your history, your story will be told through the interactions you have among the denizens of Eorzea. I for one can not wait to bump into her and have a one on one conversation. She really appears to be charming and different.

We all have to start somewhere when it comes to Role Playing. The bunch of people here in RPC are welcoming and commendation and you should not have even an inkling of issues among them. Just another small idea you could do. I wrote a brief history of my characters back story just so I have something to jump off of when I do in fact start roleplaying with fellow members of the RPC. Gave myself enough back story so I understand my characters personality, where she is currently (Mentally) and such so that I can 'add' more to my history as I have more interactions w/ others. No one said you had to have a complete back story at launch, just enough to help you RP your toon.

I sort of have a partially sappy song to represent my character Costia Demora but the words themselves fit her very well; I imagine this fit her feelings well @ the 'end'. Of course her 'love' would be less of a romantic one and more of a general love as I picture the words depicting her family. I also took the words in a past tense so when I chose this, I decided its something she lingers upon allot in her mind. Its how some of us take memories of those we lost and make them 'present' within our time and space. UQmlzOW-CLY

I'm fairly new to the RP-Community of Final Fantasy XIV as well and what I can tell you is that they are certainly the most welcoming RP-Community I've been apart of in my long illustrious gaming career. I. Basic Info Characters: Costia Demora Primary character: Costia Demora Linkshells: Crystalline Primary RP linkshell: Crystalline II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy, I decided to go Heavy because immersion in a game is important to myself and if anyone wants to talk to me in character no matter where it is I'll be glad to randomly roleplay; whether it is in the wilds of Eorzea or in one of its three City States. I'm very eager to have such random events unfold. Views on RP combat and injuries: RP Combat should be handled carefully. I say this only because its easy for us 'Green Horns' to over-power ourselves when in fact we are not nearly as seasoned as those who have their senior on us. As for Injuries, They happen. I do plan on playing up any injuries that I may receive via roleplay as such things often enrich my own roleplay experience as well as others often around the individual who's been inflicted with such. Its easy to forget sometimes that there are characters out there that are skilled and trained in mending wounds; those same characters are often not wielding a sword so such events give them meaningful roleplay as well. Views on IC romance: I'm fine with in character romance as far as there is a line drawn between both people involved as to what their boundaries are and that very line is respected by both people as they do not cross it to make the other individual uncomfortable. Boundaries are good to have and even better to understand as each roleplayer is vastly different then the next. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Same as above; Something that should be explained and agreed upon with those who are involved in such. This has more to do with respect for another's character then comfort. Views on lore: Lore is the foundation of the world we wrap ourselves in. If we do not adhere to it as close as we can then we do ourselves a disservice. I do though understand lore can not always be adhered to and some flexibility is needed but it should when it can be. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I'm going to break this down into a list: /Say should be utilized as in Character. /linkshell should be utilized as in Character (also dependent on the linkshells purpose) /tell can be used as either OOC or IC depending on the situation. Testimonial Post: My time spent with Crystalline has been well received since I first joined them months ago (Jan. 14th, 2013). Eva and her Membership did not view me as a 'Noob' even though I rightfully could be considered such as I've never really played FFXIV until recently. Even though a blunt of their members are Legacy Bound, They have not let that guide them and in fact it has probably made them more acceptance in new comers if anything. If your looking for a solid roleplay community that sticks to Final Fantasy XIV Lore and you are new to the game as I am this group is definitely one to check out!

I am a new roleplayer to Final Fantasy XIV and I have to say I agree with what was said in the video about being accepted into the Bal-community. Crystalline (led by Eva) has given me a very fair chance when I joined up with them almost a full eight months! I've never touched the game (Only the Beta for 1.0) and they've not judged me on that what-so ever. Balmung (I'm sure Gilgamesh will be too) isnt closed off to new comers like myself (Its only a stigma). Whatever server you choose, I only hope you support not only your server but the other as well (as the video was made for). Wonderful Job Nel and Crew!

I was always a fan of the name Fiona, I give you a 8/10. Its such a pretty name and definitely sounds 'fantasy' born as well. I plan on using the name: Costia Demora (Midlander)
