Does your character have any unfair Bias or Discrimination?
Lillith Cale replied to Kage's topic in Character Workshop
Hmm, I hope these count. Lillith has a far amount of bitterness towards Elezen men. Though she was adopted and raise by Elezen parents (whom she adores) she had her heart broken by an Elezen whom was her best friend up until that point. He said he could never love her because he had a preference for Elezen women. Her bitterness hasn't been helped by the fact that most Elezen she seems to run into these day take no interest in her what so ever, even with her playful flirting. She also has an issue with Miqo'te who are preachy about their culture. She has no interest in learning about or involving herself with the beliefs and cultures of her 'true' people. She's more than happy living her life by the Gridanian values she was raised with. -
Askier, it was amazingly fun and I am only sad it will be a while before I get to play in one of your events again <3 I have made a bunch of friends during this RP, and established some really awesome connections for Lillith. It was a blast! If anyone wants to RP with me outside of this, or bring Lillith along for a crow hunt, let me know!

I look forward to it! It's been such a fantastic event so far!

Ask Lore Questions for the FFXIV FanFest Live Letter!
Lillith Cale replied to Kage's topic in RP Discussion
See, getting yelled at in that situation is fine by me, when doing high end raids I expect to have to play my songs. But getting my bum torn open over not playing in a low end dungeon or during trash mobs, it's like...UGH hair pulling. Especially when the arguments are 'support is what a bard does!' Hence why I desire a more 'proper' physical ranged class than what Bard is right now. Did all that make sense? @__@ -
Ask Lore Questions for the FFXIV FanFest Live Letter!
Lillith Cale replied to Kage's topic in RP Discussion
I think this BRD would disagree with you if you told him he wasn't a proper DPS... <_<; Oh, I think BRD can DPS just fine. It's when I get yelled at for not playing songs that bother me :< -

The only Bard related question there needs to be is when are they going to introduce Ranger and have it branch off of Archer >: *Mumble grumble* -
Ask Lore Questions for the FFXIV FanFest Live Letter!

Kage, you are amazing, you are asking all the questions I was struggling to remember that I wanted to ask The company of hero not getting tempered is a big thing for me. -
Ask Lore Questions for the FFXIV FanFest Live Letter!
Lillith Cale replied to Kage's topic in RP Discussion
Berrod, I saw your question right after I asked mine Now I'm wondering if I should edit mine :c I'm not ask focused on White Mage as I am getting a general answer about the classes (though my focus is kinda one in general) due to a harassment thing that came up a little while back. Do you think my question is to wordy? X.x -
Artsy Fartsy (My Art) - Commissions RAWR!
Lillith Cale replied to Geneticdork's topic in Artisan House
I really, REALLY, need to commission you. I think I need to dedicate my weekend to spirit bonding for gil. -
I was quite glad I didn't get attached by any bugs T_T Lillith doesn't have an issue with them, but I have a pretty big aversion to several different types of bugs.

It REALLY was a lot of fun! I just wish the dice would have been nicer to me that night T_T I didn't get to show off at all *hurt ego*

Tonight was so much fun! Sorry Meta and I had to bail so quickly afterwards, there is only so long we can delay going to bed see you all tomorrow!

I'm not even going to cosplay T_T I said I would, but I just didn't have the time to try and get a costume together, and since I can't craft a single thing in real life I can't just make it before it's time to get there. Oh well, I'll just be enjoying myself with Meta regardless

Everyone has brought some fantastic thoughts and tidbits to table of this particular discussion. Though, I thought Tam-tam HM was the result of Edda just going nutters and opening herself up to scary dark evil thingies? I'd like to keep it that Lillith was able to face the primal and not get tempered, but it seems like a difficult thing to explain anyway pretty solidly with all information provided. Now I'm wondering if perhaps I should have her life views change from a different event, though the only other fight that was equally has hard for me ingame wise was t5. Hrm. This leads me to another question however. Is it possible to have Hydaelyn's blessing to resist being tempered and NOT possess the echo?
-
Should Oubliette be worried? I would think he should be.... thrilled.

Reading up on all the talk about this thread has really got me thinking about the Echo myself, and more specifically, the blessing that keeps a character from being tempered. I haven't gotten to writing about it on the wiki (because life) but Lillith was conscripted into the group that went to fight Leviathan. I did this because I wanted a major event to happen to Lillith that would change her outlook on certain things about life and I figured facing off against a primal would, you know, kinda get one thinking about things. Now, in the story line, there is mention of gathering a group to undertake this fight, and I believe the Company of Heros went up again leviathan Levibeetus, beat him themselves and avoided being tempered. So, my question then is this: Based on everything we've been talking about here, is it bunk to say Levi just didn't try to temper anyone during that fight? Or, could it be written that because the seven other people in the fight were in the presence of Hyadelyn's chosen, they received a sort of blanket protection? Sorry if the question is a bit off topic!

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post before now! The last few days were a bit busy. I had a really fantastic time at the event on Saturday Going up against those Crows felt like a boss fight to me, and that was just so cool. I also enoyed the fact that I didn't take any damage, the dice love me! haha! I seriously look forward to the next event, though I think Lillith and Meta need to do some Crow tailing at some point. They do have a job to fullfil! Hehehe *finger pyramid* Seriously, thank you to EVERYONE. It was a blast.

Yeah, Shiva, NIN, and Coil Version 3 comes in 2.4 Then the Crystal Tower saga gets it' conclusion in 2.5, with us going to the world of darkness. And I believe the only thing we really know about 2.6 is that there is going to be a catastrophe that pushes us into the Expansion, but it won't be as large of an event as Meteor. EDIT: Found the link to the post that composes all future data that we know of, including stuff confirmed and debunked: http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/122723-FFXIV-A-Realm-Reborn-Articles-and-Translated-Interviews

If I recall correctly, there was something mentioned somewhere (I gotta hunt for the link) that they were bringing back the other highland zones from 1.0 and that Ishgard would be open to us before the expansion.

Guys, you were amazing yesterday. That event had such a different feel from the first one I was part of (not to say the first one was bad!) and I felt super included! Iron Sea, Misha, Jana, Sae, you guys were great! Was that person, Ninhm, someone from this site or just a random stranger than went along with it? And that Zac fellow too? With his awesome response to my 'bell' comment. Seriously guys, it was great, I just had so much fun. Oubliette Crow is best crow <3 I had a great time with the back and forth with him. I am up for any and all adventure happening before the main event on Saturday Just give me a yell!
-
I am, of course, quite interested! I'll be sure to keep my schedule flexible!
-
I don't know if I'll be able to today, but I'll send you a whisper in the near future so Meta and I can arrange something to stop by Mercenaries love a good hunt!
-
I don't have any intention on giving up This was only my first event, and I'll continue to keep trying to integrate myself into the community
-
I'm always happy to RP and would love to get more involved. In fact, Meta and I were going to try and get in touch with Iron Sea to see about getting hired on to help deal with this little problem. They are mercenaries after all. my online time has been a bit spotty this past week, but I'm generally online most days of the week.

I had fun during that battle. The person playing the Crow was awesome, and my battle partner (Leanne I think the name was but I may be misremembering, sorry! >.<) was a lot of fun to play with as well but....Before the battle began I was finding it quite hard to get involved in the going ons, and afterwards I was dashing about trying to get involved in any post RP I could, because I'd really like to get more involved when it comes to RP on FFXIV. Over all, I do echo the previous sentiments, the event itself was loads of fun but as a new player, trying to get involved in the actual roleplay going on was a bit difficult.
