I'll keep an eye out for you Nadine! you do the same for me! Born into the Tumet clan Kiri (born named Sarnai) She actually failed her rite of passage at age 10. She managed to escape the sacred tree, but never caught back up to the others. She began living in the expance avoiding most other clans and in her travels cam across Garlean wreckage and scrapyards. She slowly learned by tinkering how machines worked thru experimentation, qiqrin traders and a very independent soldier who saw her as harmless and enjoyed the company. Now she is in Eorzea, applying her trade as home repairs/improvement and now airship construction and maintenance. She enjoys tinkerings with guns and other mundane magitek gadgets.

The Wandering Tonberry Free Company has a grown interest in taking to the skies and is looking to expand their research and development department. Potential employees should have a basic understanding of magitek and mechanical devices. as well as be proficient craftsman. Duties would include ship building and maintenance, as well as other daily repairs in the workshop and around the lodge. New employees are encouraged to interact with the existing staff. Knowledge and practices of hunting monsters is a bonus. (( Wandering Tonberry is a Mid-sized FC with a very active RP community, no doubt going to any any battle competitions around Eorzea and we have been seen... They are Neutral/Good aligned, and hunting based for more information on the FC itself contact Flynt or Ritsu Knoltros. As for the R&D side of the house, we are looking for more mechanically inclined RPers! the majority of the staff is not very familiar with "these new fangled machines" and is seeking to make a small group of dedicated builders and creators. Benefits would include hands on with the new airship features, as well as a cut of the spoils! Not to mention a chance to roll with the infamous Berries! Haha! Damnit Gin! We meet again. I seen the list too and popped in to see who else has made a decision... I am gonna go with the Tumet. I like the rite of passage, since I always pictured Kiri ( real name Sarnai Tumet ) as a long distant scout, Tumets seem like they would be a speedy sort and always seem to know which way is home :3

*points to post* "Kiri Komori" is a "Nickname" one she is called by and introduces herself as most often. It was given to her by a Raen yes, one she later became good friends with cause she had a nice place to hide and work on the Garlean machine parts she found and hoarded on. Kiri Komori is a language name (because of the japanese parallels with Japan and Doma) as a Komorikiri aka Hikikomori. Thus named because the Raen thought it was funny to see a Xaela locking herself away to play with things. "Kiri" enjoyed this name, it was sweet sounding, and most importantly she felt it was "Inventive" something that "Kiri" respects. She does have a Xalea name, that could come out eventually. but she likes this name and will use it. For anyone who challenges her on her decision of name? She will fight them proudly >:E As one of the best fighters in she tribe, shes earned that right, even if most don't like it. As for her Raen friend... how could that be?! one may say to themselves. And its true, "Kiri" did chase her away a few times, and even bunched the girl til she was bruised up and crying... Yet the Raen girl came back regardless and bravely. Another trait Kiri can respect. "Tch, your so weak.. I guess it can't be helped.. whats this? a plum for me? You really shouldn't have..." *snatches the plum and eats eat watching the Raen girl* "HMPH! Whaaat but shouldnt she be Raen? noo--- just cause that one time you met her she was acting polite? Shes much to adventerious and conflict happy to be a Raen, tho her nickname as it is is due to her locking herself away from time to time, and enjoyment of small cozy places. She doesn't play by most rules, and only gave Gin a more dangerous pan to fight with... was cause it would be fun! You can be a nomadic fighty hunter/gatherer without being an a-hole after all.

OOoooh?! Miss El won?! I remember her, she's the lady I beat in the finals to become champion before... Looks like it's time to make a comeback! I was unfortunatly tied up scavenging for parts in Carteneu and fending off attackers there that last competition. But I SHALL RETURN! :lol: As for El, perhaps I should seek her out more! Get in more practice! same with that Miqo that got me the week before last. Hey there! I'm still working pretty hard to connect all people of Othardian background that may help! The LS is Othard United and growing steadily. I try to be logged on alot and feel free to send me a message or friend request in game! ( as Kiri Komori ) I know at least one established FC for fellow AuRa! As for us notoriously aggressive Xaela, whos to say you can't punch someone in their face then be a friend? ;D Also with alot of "sole survivors out there. I would hope my fellow Xaela would understand the benefit of coming to a common ground and forming new tribes in this new land. (I am personally going to of just been seperated from the pack along with an one of the injured males, who will be a retainer in my front yard (yay for NPC RP!) and a odd couple relationship with a Raen girl i happened across (RL Friend) who's feeling alone and scared after this long trip to Eorzea ) Either way, Anyone reading this feel free to give a message if your looking for other Au Ra connections as well! You are correct sir! I will be playing a Raen. The ones that have assimilated in with the "traditional Doman society" and yeah it is a bit irksome not knowing all the little details and a real pain not knowing standard names for the Xaela... but again as far as RP goes there is still alot a creative mind can get away with and do and hide without knowing all the details. Coming across anyone you don't need to give a full bio and stats after all! In my IC quest to find other Au Ra and Domans its a matter of skirting the edges and picking people up based on observations. The linkshell "Othard United" has been formed, and I have been collecting all forms of eastern RPers and so far so good! Lastly I am also currently working on a research project here digging thru every item, event, cutscene, npc, quest dialog EVERYTHING that gives mention to the Hydaelyn eastern world, and also working with other friends in getting every bit of fact /with references/ posted here as a tool for others. It will also have a space for theories based on given information, but mostly just the facts. From what I gathered we actually know alot more about Othard than we do about Garlemald and Ala Mihgo, to other popular places of origin for RPers. .....please look forward to it. :angel:

As you see above from Warren, I been sorting a big heavy coat and hoods. Also I not been just walking up to people ansd saying "hey there!" I keep off to the side, people look at me too long I run away. Then there was the grindstone, that was a big public thing yes, but most people mistook her for some smaller Amal'jii! It is known there are friendlier beastmen, and she was in a competiton where it has never said they were outlawed, she was also not being violent, just competeing like everyone else, and after the winning? Ran off before she could get questioned further. While RPing to the side and running off can be fun.. thats rough to do for another 2 months! It is why looking for others of like mind whom we could be more open with. Kiri knows shes not the only one to sneak off, she wants to find them! But yeah.. she shouldn't of entered the Grindstone, she knows it... but she couldn't help herself! she wanted to test her hand at Eorzeas finest!

She may of gotten a little excited to be out and about She was scolded by her peers and has been given a proper glamoring since her outing... As far as a lynching goes... at least we knows shes tough and fast enough to win in the largest competiton yet!

Actually hoping to have a planned event with like minded people! I know come 3.0 people will want to be in a rush to do all the fun new things, but I hope we could at least all log out together the night of maintenance, throw a party, and when we log back in pop fantasia and be like we are supposed to! and then perhaps all gather again for a little bit to show off to each other and finish the party!
