Ok so sorry if this does not belong here but, if by any chance any of you know a player on Gilgamesh by the name of Zax (Can't remember his first name) could you tell me his full name. Last I seen him he was talking about his guild in Limsa Lominsa. I was trying to create a new character but the it's saying that I can't atm...and I accidentally deleted my other character >.

So I had this idea of RPing out a brattish heir who wants to prove he is more than just the brat he is. I was going to have him go Arcanist, then Summoner/Scholar. What I was looking for was someone to play as his caretaker/bodyguard. The story is that his father was a well known, wealthy war veteran and tactician. The heir to their household is usually passed down from father to son. While Edward (character's name, although subject to change) was growing up, it was established that he was physically inclined, and his abilities leaned more towards magic. This was due to his mothers gene, who was a skilled Conjurer. Joseph(fathers name) was disappointed, not in his son, but in the thought that the household would either end with him, or be tarnished by his rivals for letting a healer run it. Edward was more spoiled by his mother than his father. He grew up loving fashion, and spent most of his days flirting with girls than training for war. Edward and Joseph had a fight, which led Joseph to say he son was no good on the battle field and his only use is spending money. This caused Edward to flee, wanting to prove himself. The father sent his most loyal warrior to chase Edward, and if not bring him home, then watch over him. I need someone to RP the loyal warrior. Kiht'a is currently looking for two things. 1. A Free Company to join, while he hones his skills. 2. A mentor who is talented in Thaumaturgy. Someone who he can admire and aspire.

I. Basic Info Characters:Kiht'a Relena Linkshells:N/A Primary RP linkshell:N/A II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium/Heavy. I'm big on story RP and character development. Random RP is fine too, but to me that would be more a past time when I'm not engaged in active story RP. Views on RP combat and injuries: It can be interesting. Not a big fan of permanent injuries (unless something minor such as a scar). Would have to be discussed first. I think a system should always be in place when two people engage in combat and the outcome isn't clear. I once used a RNG system for combat that worked out perfectly. If they discuss the outcome before hand, or if someone willingly throws a match, that's fine too. Views on IC romance: I'm open to it. I think it helps with immersion. NO ONE IS IMMUNE TO LOOOVVVEEE. I think boundaries would need to stated first though. It's all well and good if someone brings ICly feelings OOC, but I think that is something that needs to be discussed, for both parties sake. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Would be interesting depending on each character's back story and such. This is something that would have to be discussed. Views on lore: I don't know the lore by the letter, but I think everyone should follow at least the most basics i.e. - race name selection, race culture (not to be mistaken for individual lifestyle. Think more or terms of, whether this race practices religion or is lean more towards science. Beliefs and such). I think lore can be broken in certain situations. For example, if your name isn't a name that race would choose, by saying that it's more of a nickname or that you changed your name is cool. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Personally, I can see a voice chat distracting me. I will most likely only use for dungeons/raids, or if I'm talking to someone who I'm not RPing at the moment. III CHARACTER INFO Age: 20 Kiht'a was raised on a small farm. Kiht'a want's to be an adventurer who delves dungeons for hidden treasures. Not physically inclined, intermediate fighting ability but doubts himself. Kiht'a sat at a table at the Quicksand. A half eaten fish was placed on the wooden table next to him. A quill and piece of paper drew his attention away from his unfinished meal. Only, the dangers are ever so present here as well. I'm looking for a group of people I can travel with for a while. A "Free Company" as I heard it being called. Upon turning back to walk to his seat, Kiht'a tripped over his tail. He grabbed onto a nearby table occupied by two Highlanders, one sporting an axe and the other with bruised knuckles. The tabled flipped over and spilled their food and drinks on them. He stood up, dusting off his self before realizing the Higlanders firm stare. Once he did, Kiht'a simply smiled, closed his eyes, and placed his right behind his head, scratching it. Hello all ^-^ So I started FFXIV around 2 days ago. After trial and error I've finally found the class that I want to play as and I'm ready to start my journey in Eorzea. I started playing MMO's when I was about 14. I started out Adventure QUest for a couple of years, transitioning to various F2P MMO's over the time such as Aion, TERA, and Fiesta. This will be the first time I'm paying for an MMO. I've been role playing since TERA, around 2-3 years ago. I like character development and playing the game while roleplaying, instead of being stationary most of the time. I also LOVE story driven RP's that take place over a couple of days, weeks even. I believe it adds depth to the RP and really allow the characters to have active lives within the world. I would say I am a decent intermediate role player but that's for professionals to decide. I found this site when I looked up RP for the game. I can't wait to get started. I have a lvl 4 THM on Gilgamesh at the moment.
