Hey there! The Mischief’s Coven is looking for more connections and can fulfill a variety of roles for other groups and individuals too! Regardless of the role though, we’re committed to making sure everyone has fun OOC at the end of the day, and strive to collaborate OOC ahead of time to ensure that. Above all else, player comfort zones will be respected. Here are some of the potential ideas we’re looking for right now: Employment - The Coven offers per-person contract work with non-FC individuals who don’t shy away from shady work from a Thieves Guild. These folks basically have a foot in the door to participate in planned, coordinated events. These jobs can range from thievery to muscle. Allies - The Coven is looking for potential allies, whether they be organized crime, freelance thieves or even a corrupt law enforcement officer who takes bribes! Indentured Servants (may later become full family member)- Maybe your character isn't evil. Maybe they have found themselves in a tough spot so must serve and work for the mob inorder to pay off a debt? Or maybe you want your good character to become corrupted and turn evil! We cater to this! We'll put you through your paces, treat you poorly for you to one day rise up new, and possibly evil!! Enemies - Of course, with every Thieves Guild, there are those who wish to root out the shadows too- and though they may often try and progress toward such a goal, the shadows are plenty elusive! [align=center]Battle of the Bards! [/align] [align=center] [/align] The intro~ Welcome to the Mischief's Coven Battle of the Bands RP Event! This event will take place on the 19th January at Midnight GMT! (6PM CST!) This is an event for Bards to strut their stuff, and show what they are really made of, in song form of course! The ultimate completion with only one victor. The event will take place at the Mischief's Coven FC home, Plot 50 Ward 12 Lavender beds. Theres even prizes! The IC bit~ The Tavern is quite new on the scene, needing to spread the word about its amazing cider and cracking company, what better way than to host a cut-throat singing competition! The Tavern has been handing out flyers which read: [align=center]"Are your friends bickering about who can sing better? Who's the better bard or just the fact that they don't go to enough shows?! Well look no further! The Mischief's Tavern proudly presents!" [/align] [align=center]"BATTLE OF THE BARDS!"[/align] [align=center]If you want to come along, pop down to Plot 50, ward 12 of the Lavender beds, on 19th January! It will be a lot of fun, and cider is half price!"[/align] [align=center]"(If you wish to participate as a contestant, and have a shot at glory, as well as prizes! Then contact Miss Liliro Liro, the Tavern owner. You must have an original song prepared, good luck!"[/align] The OOC bit~ The competition will work as follows: You will apply and express your interest OOCly or ICly (your choice, however you may have to do some RP before the event if you express your interest OOCly) Then you will be entered into the competition draw. On the night, you will have prepared a song to ICly perform. There are two stages of the competition, individual and battle stages. The first stage (individual) you will perform a song on your own, and the judges will score it, it can be any song of your choice, however bonus points for humour and originality! There will be a knockout, where only the top two bards will remain and walk on stage. The second stage (battle) you will perform a song against your opponent, A back and forth with rolls to determine how well the part was performed, here is an example. "Liliro begins the battle, smirking she begins singing: "I want to ride my chocobo all daaaaay, I want to fly awaaay, but chocobo's are to fat to fly~" She plays her harp, swaying in time with her tune. /Random! Liliro Rolls 450 Kasi chuckles, smiling as she retaliates "A chocobo is a pretty sight, compared to your poor face which gives Behemoths a fright~" /Random Kasi rolls 700" In this instance above, Kasi would be one point ahead, this will be a best of three. If the score is 2/1 for example, then the game is over! The songs don't can be anything you choose, however the funnier the better. Just because you win the rolls It doesn't mean you win the competition, it just means you performed slightly better than your opponent, bonus points are still awarded after for originality, humor and showmanship! She'd heard wind of an adult entertainment establishment out in the Goblet, which was rich and prosperous; The Velvet Rose. The Mistress called in her faithful group, and briefed them on the mission ahead, They met at scorpions crossing, and diving into the details. The group were to acquire information from the courtesans which reside there, by any means necessary, Lili knew that they made a lot of gil, but wanted to know the details, where it was kept, how much of it!? The team, which consided of Khvya and her brother Z, Uriel Valentine and Kasi Nebuko, were to enter, disguised and acting as customers. They were each ordered to hire a courtesan, to find out information about where the company keeps their gil, security etc. Kasi was charged with keeping a lookout, as well as an on hand bodyguard should the situation get messy. The group agreed, and were given their courtesan expenses, Some were slightly hesitant about the task at hand, but none of them disagreed. Lili smiled and wished them good luck, knowing their mission was clear. They ventured to the mansion, greeted and taken to the bar as their await their temporary "Companions." Khyva was initially given an strapping Roe, but her scared and hesitant self refused and therefore enjoyed the company of a female Miqo'te. She wasn't able to get any information from the courtesan, and ran out panicked and embarrassed before the session had properly begun. Z and Uriel on the otherhand, managed to scope out the possible entrances, and gathered useful intel for the mistress, including a key which Uriel slipped from the courtesan's pocket. Unsure of what exactly it gained access to. All in all the mission was a success, and Lili knows where the gil is hidden, who manages it, and how to retrieve it. It certainly wasn't the easiest of missions, but one which needed to be done. (This was a super fun and kinda hilarious RP event with the FC, where they visited the velvet Rose Brothel in search of information! [align=center]"She's got the goods."[/align] [align=center]RP with Kyvha Silverwind[/align] This girl, her name was Kyvha, wondered in with her husband some weeks ago, Desperate for lodgings and a viable job. Turns out she was a woman of many talents, and her looks weren't half bad either, Lili thought she'd test her, and ordered her to cut her husbands hand with a knife, To her surprise, she did it without a second thought (Poor guy!). Lili took them in, put them to work, however The husband has disappeared...[/align] Kyvha is one of Lili's favourites, however she'll never admit that! They've sparred and Kyvha has this unique method with floating orbs Lili had never seen before, it caught her interest. Whenever Lili needs something, Ky is first at hand, willing to do anything for Mistress Mischief, her loyalty is faultless.[/align] ]Lili thought she'd once again test Ky's loyalty, seeing if Ky was actually officer material. She ordered Ky to find a rather skimpy outfit, and perform at the tavern infront of an audience, Many would have refused such a request, but Ky performed no problem. Shes someone that Lili can now rely on, and she's decided to promote the girl as her unoffical second in command. Turns out this "eyecandy" has a lot more to offer than just her looks. Lili has some jobs lined up for her... which may or may not involve her infiltrating an adult entertainment establishment...[/align] ](A Big congrats to my close friend KYVHA for getting promoted to the rank of officer, you've showed passion and dedication to the FC and I can't thank you enough for all your support.
