I also listened to Xanister's theme and Kyor'a's theme, and they sound wonderful, love them! EDIT: Character Name: Raine Kireina Alignment: Chaotic Good Brief Character Summary: Raine is a free spirited Miqo'te (soon to be an Au Ra due to... potion) who just goes where the wind - or her friends - takes her. Being a free spirit, you'd expect this archer to be a follower, but instead she's a leader, coming up with a plan or taking action when a situation looks bad. Her only ambition is to one day have a family, be it with a man or woman. Summarize in 3 Adjectives: Exuberant. Passionate. Intelligent. I can't wait to hear it, I also apologize I'm not too descriptive. T.T

Still no naming conventions for the Au Ra? -.- Come on SE... there's only 9 days left in May, I thought I saw somewhere they'd release them this month.

I actually thought you were calling me out for my post *phew* I honestly dislike talking to anybody outside of the internet (and even then, I still sometimes feel really sick, even if I'm comfortable with the community). I rarely leave my room at home, and when I have to I take my headphones and music, that way I avoid communication, and I don't look at other people (in the eyes at least, I avoid looking at people altogether unless there's no choice, and for this reason along with my appearance I've been labelled a psychopath and a future murderer in high school, but meh) until going back up to my room, checkout at a store or whatever. When I communicate with family, it's a sentence or two and then I go upstairs. With people on the internet. I can talk with, but I mostly listen to them, chiming in when they want me to. I don't stutter, so I'm not really sure what it is that's wrong with me, or what it's classified as.

I don't plan to play a character with social anxiety (as I have it mostly IRL and somewhat online, too), I don't know if I'd consider it a "mental illness" though, as some people would, as I've never once heard it referred as such until just a few minutes ago. However, I can understand where people are coming from, finding characters like that "annoying", I hate myself for being that way, in fact I'm annoyed at myself, but when I see someone else like that (namely females), I find them cute, and I honestly want to just cuddle up to them and tell them everything's gonna be alright.

These traits are kind of a pet peeve of mine. Seeing mental illnesses being played a "cute" is frankly kind of disturbing. However, a lot of people here have made sarcastic entries, so if yours is as well, kudos! Social anxiety is a mental illness? I... didn't know that, I just avoid people whenever I can IRL (and sometimes even on the net, I can't stand being on any sort of call with more than one person), but I'll talk if necessary, even though I really don't wish to. On topic: Mr. Ladies' man: Gets all the girls no matter what happens, even if he gets drunk and pukes on them, somehow they'll still swoon over him like he's the best man in the world.

That's true, too. I've never really touched Healer or any type of magic class so I can't really say much on it.

They'll call the Gunbladers "SeeD" >> I want to simultaneously high-five and strangle you for that LOL I made a frenemy! :chocobo: I honestly would like gunblades for use though, but I don't really see it happening anytime soon, they'd have to make all sorts of different movesets for close and mid-ranged attacks, and it'd be likely the close-ranged would outclass the mid-ranged, so everyone would just be swinging their swords.

Actually, it can get like that here, but not through any fault but the medium through which we choose to RP. To help your eyes when it comes to crowded areas, I recommend turning time stamps on your chat log and reducing the font size down to something low, but still easily readable. While the game itself is fine as is, it never, ever hurts to customize. Fiddle around. Hmm, alrght. Thank you for the tips! @Blythe and Barnabaix Thank ya both!

Hm, yeah... You're right, I just saw the focus on Yugiri and her reveal, so I figured that their lineage might be explored a little bit in Heavensward, what with Ishgardians likely to be hostile to these dragon-looking people. Like I said, I don't want to break lore, so if it doesn't seem plausible (which to, me, it doesn't, it was just an interesting idea that popped into my head, and wanted to hear others opinions on whether or not they thought it was), I won't do it.

Yeah, I guess I got ahead of myself on that. Either way I'd have to wait before even trying this idea out. I'll just keep this in mind once more info about the Au Ra pop up

As I've said in my introduction topic, I plan to make the shift to Au Ra, and their motif is demons. I would assume that means the Au Ra are descendants of demons/Voidsent seeing as their scales are somewhat similar to these beings (and possibly a Hyur, as they seem Hybrid). I don't have any concrete RP storylines going on or anything currently, so I wanted to ask/discuss something before I did so, going on whether or not they were always an Au Ra. An Au Ra trains (body and soul) for years, while researching their lineage, recounting tales possibly passed down from generation to generation. Would said Au Ra possibly be able to transform into a demon, even if only for a short time? Here's an eample: An Au Ra out hunting gets ambushed by a pack of Couerl, and - while fending themselves off - gets severely wounded. With a strong will, and retaining quite a bit of knowledge about their lineage, they undergo a (very short) transformation into a type of Voidsent/demon, quickly dispatching the remaining Couerl. Reverting back to their original form, the Au Ra passes out from both their wounds, and exhaustion from the transformation. For plots' sake, an adventurer or patrol finds the Au Ra, patching up their wounds. After awakening, the Au Ra remembers gaining a power boost, but not much else, and delves further into their past, potentially learning how to transform at will. Would this be plausible? If it is plausible, so as to not make this OP: Each time an Au Ra transforms, their lifespan is shortened (hence the exhaustion when they revert), and if in that transformed state for too long (may vary between Au Ra, I'd give it a limit of maybe two minutes at best), their demonic instinct may take over, forcing their own comrades to kill them. Sorry for the wall of text! I just wanted to ask and discuss this before I officially decided on whether or not my character would've been an Au Ra all along - or whether they just suddenly woke up as one. I also got this idea from the Dark Devices FATE-line, when the lady sacrifices herself to the Succubus who takes over her body.

@Reiner Thank you! @Datenshi Thank you as well! I've roleplayed some in the past, but that was maybe 6-7 years ago. It's just that any time I have tried to roleplay recently, I've been bombarded with walls upon walls of text x.x I even tell them to go easy on me, but man...*shudders* Glad to hear it doesn't seem that way here. (Also, I don't know how to get rid of that quote box. NVM, didn't realize it'd get rid of it itself)

I've only been lurking here for a few days, but I decided to join because the community seems really nice! I'm not a very good (or active) roleplayer as I'm on Faerie and mainly roleplay with my ex (I actually need to resub) but we have no eal plot or story going on as of yet. We'll begin that after Heavensward.
