Tons of fun. I'm happy I came out of that with a bunch more people on my friends list. Hoping to bump into you all again with Emelin sometime soon.

I don't think the CE people get both...at least it didn't seem that way when I was reading the descriptions. Which is a shame, because visually I'd so prefer the goggles.

I am so there with Emelin. Now I just have to think of a story. *ponders*

There's a lot of little polish I still believe the game needs, and I really, really hope SE makes targeting more user friendly. But really, I am so psyched for this game. The only thing that has me worried is the amount of content that is currently available. Oh, I have no doubt that more is coming, I just wonder how long it will take after release.

I just checked out the main site. Apparently, you get in-game items when you preorder. Goggles for the standard edition or an onion helm for the collector's edition.

So, I preordered the game before I realized there were preorder reward items. However, I never got any kind of special code or box or what not when I preordered down at my local mall. Does anybody have any idea where this special code we're supposed to get is coming from? Or should I head back out to Gamestop? And sorry if this has been asked already. I poke around the forum a bit, but couldn't find another thread.

At the moment I'm playing Dragon Age, Final Fantasy XIII, The Sims 3 (new expansion! =D ), and I just picked up my subscription to Aion again to check out the recent changes. Above all, I really want to play FFXI again, but I just don't have the time to devote to the game anymore.

Well, being in beta means you're not supposed to share anything with non-beta testers. Just saying you are in beta is breaking the NDA you agreed to when signing up, though it doesn't seem that SE is coming down on anyone who doesn't do any major NDA-breaking. I know there was someone who had a live feed running of an alpha test session and their beta testing invitation was revoked. I actually work with running this sort of QA stuff with a game company, and people breaking NDAs can be a major headache. And our clients could technically choose to sue them. But then again, we don't do anything this large scale so we don't have too much to worry about in that area. But congrats on getting in and do lots of bug finding for us.

I'm thinking female Hyur, a midlander. I have no idea for city though. I'm waiting for more information, really. I'll definitely be playing some male characters too. Probably not for my first/main though.
