  1. Oh wow, so it's for more than just AoE... I will see if it works out for me... Should be okay though as I'm working now... But not sure which character to bring at the moment...
  2. Thank you, Lord Valron. Things seem nice so far for Dei now. Now to find a group to move to for the others... Like I said server transfer is acceptable! I'd like to add that I'm a bit autistic and this is why I have trouble with Lamia's lack of structure. I need to lay down some firm groundwork and they just go with the flow and jump in. They're a great group of people, it's just not a fit for me.
  3. Decided not to make a new thread but update this one. The Lamia group is dissatisfying as they lack structure to their RP (I like to have a little planning and be friendly with and get to know people and their characters so I know what to expect.) So I have chararacters that are looking for an RP Home. The Lamia ones are open to being moved all together. BALMUNG Deianera Andoran - Level 50 Paladin: An icy and jaded highlander desert warrior who is looking for like minded people that believe in justice - at any cost. Outright murder is not beyond her and she doesn't much go for idealistic youths and prefers the company of hardened mercenaries like herself. LAMIA Terrini Littlebottom - Level 60 White Mage: A Plainsfolk with an amazing talent with the Echo that she conceals. She's headstrong and idealistic and needs a home that will help her help people. Garethoix Lacrainte - Level 30 Conjurer: A Duskwight that fell off a cliff and lost his way home. Frightened by sunlight and wide open spaces and the glares of everyone in Gridania where he was taken to be healed, he cowers in the depths of Stillglade Fane waiting fora kind word to lead him out of his shell. Mynafryd Fraeskyltwyn - Level 22 Arcanist: A cheerful Sea Wolf that loves holidays and celebrations and making people happy. Sadi and Disa Terran - Level 30 Conjurers: These twin Raen pushed their tribe too far and were exiled in the hopes that living out in the world will snap them out of their inconvenient quirks, or let them find a place that they can finally fit in. Sadi is childishly mischievous and acts on his emotions, wearing his heart on his sleeve while his twin sister Disa is the opposite, uptight and repressed she's come to despise everything that Sadi does as if it's her responsibilty to stop anything people could find offensive. I have 3 happily placed characters on Balmung, so only have room to send 4 characters there. The FC they are in limits characters to 3 in it.
  4. In the Uldahn 1-15 MSQ there is an NPC Lalafell called a child when you are asked to give cookies to the starving children hanging around the coffer and coffin. This Lalafell child is full grown by PC standards.
  5. Awww the red head one is a reject? I really like it...
  6. Come join us at the Solace Villa (The Goblet, Ward 7, Plot 43) a place of respite for adventurers and vagabonds that need a home and are working to rebuild what they lost after the disasters in recent years and on top of that truly want to help others to do the same. Contact Luxyn Xarkryth, Noxyn Xark in game for details, or join and check out our forums. We accept all interested parties and are willing to work with new RPers to build characters and help with in game Lore and information that might be relevant. We also accept any that are just interested in seeing RP but unsure if they want to give it a try or not. We're very supportive of making new RP fans! Our goals include helping people level and clear content with positive attitudes including raids (but we're casual for this and don't aim for server firsts.) We also feature personal rooms for general roleplay purposes (slumber party in the dormitory anyone?)
  7. I saw your avatar and went, "Oh god, please don't be a lalafell prostitute." Then I kept reading and realized it was an alt. But it's still a lalafell name! Oh no. You're right. Terra, is your courtesan a lalafell. Forgive me my curiosity, but I've never seen one. Yes, Aladi is a Lalafell. I've been busy with a move so I haven't even been playing my main much lately. But basic concept is her mother was raped by a highlander from Ala Mhigo shortly after Garleans took over the place. They were really poor, her mother died when she was young and Aladi didn't have many options. Have thoughts on it, but Aladi is meant to be a "larger than average " Lalafell because of her heritage and might throw some interesting twists about her father... I'd have to think about the drug pushing thing, maybe if I knew more about it? We could maybe talk in game, but as I said, I'm moving. Putting in new net at my new place today though, just need to finish moving everything over.
  8. Aladi Ladi is pretty new, but she's trying to break out of street prostitution to something a bit classier (a host club). She's an alt and I haven't had the chance to develop her much yet...
  9. I'm not even on Siren but I try to keep abreast of outlying RP communities. There is NeoNOAH on Siren http://NeoNOAH.enjin.com for RPers.
  10. I work Friday but plan to spend every spare moment once it goes live playing :geek:
  11. I just saw this thread on the official forums and it's stuff like this that makes Balmung a bit intimidating... http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/236402-Roleplaying-Etiquette-Waitress-on-the-First-Day-at-the-Quicksand.?p=2998894&viewfull=1#post2998894 What should you be doing, what shouldn't you do? Should you just avoid the Quicksand entirely?
  12. Another question... I just went through the whole site application, but I haven't been able to make my character yet, would this be a problem?
  13. On Brynhildr , in my group, we have a lot of Scholars and we have it nebulously in that the Sch you meet in the questline starts teaching new scholars. Another thing my group on Brynhildr plays with is the creation and Lore behind soulstones and how they once belonged to people and how they're made and how they affect people. Essentially, because in the paladin storyline you kinda just get given a soulstone for becoming an initiate, it seems that it actually is something that is not absurd to make, particularly with a living practice like that of Paladins. We believe it to be a living person imbuing a stone with their experiences so that with training and exposure someone else might obtain those skills. In the case of Scholars this either acts as a beacon to or housing for the fairies attached to those memories and it's an elite art to create these (only a master would be able to craft one to pass on an art) you could very well come across a soulstone in the ruins or perhaps if you have a group where someone adheres to the job quedts happening amd avts as a teacher to pass on the art . I think any story can be made plausible particularly since Koji Fox dropped a hint on other factions (like the Lambs of Dalamud ) uncovering the art of white magic specifically. So even if one place or culture is associated with something it doesn't mean that is literally the only way to learn rare skills. Plus coming up with unique names for fairies is also a thing.
  14. By the time I manage to make a character on Balmung, maybe I'll be able to aim for the new lower level uniform then!
  15. Got so much hype right now trying to be Eorzea's next top model! Did start my RP character on Brynhildr though! http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/237374-Eorzea-s-Next-Top-Model-YOUTUBE-Edition-Episode-1-%28Fan-Voting%29 Votes appreciated !
