Obei Kinstar

I'm pretty shocked they spent the money to make a one and a half year production, not to mention air time, I guess it will be cool... I wonder how many subs it will actually bring in

I dont think there is anything to worry about. Everyone who wants to RP doesnt have to join balmung. There are soooo many people new and old that will be joining Balmung, it is a huge community and a good one. I am legacy, started on Besaid. I have one class 50 and one craft 50, thats it, everything else I have is low. Im not even gonna play on my 50, I will be starting as one of my lvl 1 classes and lvl it up and do the story missions the way they were intended for a new class. Personally I think that it doesnt matter what each individual will do, or were they start or if they are going to be on the same world as me. I will play the game how I want to play and there will be plenty of dynamic people who will want to share the enjoyment with me, whether new or old. Other people will only make or break the game for you if you let them. PLEASE DO NOT WORRY (dont worry everything will be fine) PLEASE LOOK FORWARD TO IT

I think being in the (unofficial) rp server will be best, because we will have lots of old characters and lots of new characters and hopefully a good mix of nationalities from around the world as well

Buahahaha! I am still quite undecided... I use Obei as my toon name for everything, and Kinstar is very closely related to my last name irl. But what if I decided evetually that this character would be an alt, and my main would be a new character. Choice... it is a love/hate relationship lol

Yeah I have been trying to figure the name out myself. I am keeping my character name Obei Kinstar, but it will not be my original male midlander, so maybe I should go with my real name But if I go with my real name, no one knows who I am IRL, it would be kinda cool to show my friends IRL my name on the game credits. I am keeping the name Obei Kinstar so maybe I should just go with that. SO? are you guys thinking to use your toon name or real life name and I will throw this in here because :cactuar::cactuar::cactuar:

Hi everyone! Obei Kinstar here. A few of you may remember me. I started xiv at beta (the first time) I was interested in RP from the start, I was in a couple RP shells but nothing too heavy. I would have liked to get into it more but there wasn't oppurtunity since many did not like the game and I had work scheduleing conflicts. However the game is soon to be re-released and I'm ready to get back into it! I remember that Alona Rhys (not sure on spelling) was trying to put together a play that I was going to be a part of but it never happened. I feel like it was going to be quite the production and I would definitly be interested in doing something like that again if there is any talk of it. Originially Obei was a hume midlander male, but I'm thinking of changing, not sure on this yet, but I was thinking of either genderbending into a female mithra or being a male mithra. In xi I played a taru, and in xiv 1.0 I played a hume, I'm thinking mithra this time. MMORPG Background- FFXI, FFXIV RP Experience- I have been rp'ing since I was a kid. I have always been into fantasy rp, not so much sci-fi. I played the first ff when I was like 8 or 9. Me and my brother were really into wizards and warriors, etc. We weren't really into sports, so when we went to the park we would rp wizards and warriors. From there we got into D&D, and tabletop gaming, warhammer, etc. I been gaming and rp'ing all my life, although its been awhile, the last rp I did was in ffxiv, its prolly been 5 years since I did any D&D, although lately I been having the urge to play again, I just dont know anyone else that would want to. Character- Not sure on this, Obei has a lot of history associated with him and all he has done, but I feel like I'm going to change his appearence and possibly sex...so I will have to wait and see, some advice from others on this would be appreciated too. I learned about the coalition from my early ffxiv days, someone prolly told me about it, I'm guessing Alona Rhys I'm aiming at all different styles of rp, there are times I will not want to be OOC, and there are times I will want something more light, it will just depend on my mood OOC- Hi!
