Remember that time you showed up to the coffee bar, and all those folks were sitting at individual tables? You wanted an excuse to chat with them, but couldn't quite find the right way to make an introduction. We're taking a step out of the process by introducing you to a stranger with no goal beyond talking to each other. Leave having made a new friend. Or finding someone with whom to explore the land. Or trade recipes. Or none of these things. But at least you will have the opportunity to learn about someone, and share something of yourself. Balmung, Ward 15, plot 36, Lavender Beds, at 4pm (EST). House Amlin is now Nightshade Waltz! (Yes, I'll have to find a new ad...) The Cashmere Room will still open every week as usual.

The Cashmere Room will be on hiatus for a couple of weeks as we reorganize around a twice-monthly schedule. Please bear with us! There may be a skeleton crew on hand on Thursday for anyone who didn't get the message. The Cashmere Room Nightclub (18+ themed) is open every Thursday, 8-10pm. Bring friends, a partner, or just yourself, for an evening of dining, drinking, and dancing on our open dance floor, facilitated by our master magitek music manipulator, Kusumura Corsano. Just a note (and bump) to remind everyone that The Cashmere Room is still operating and still offering the finest night club atmosphere in Eorzea. The dance floor is a popular attraction, and we offer additional entertainment on stage which varies week by week. ((Limitations of the format mean that the music stream is somewhat OOC, but we do our best to keep the entertainment as in-character as possible!)) We're still seeking bar staff, dancers, performers, and whatever else it takes to keep the customers satisfied. Company Information On June 24th we begin monthly events on a EU-friendly schedule. These will be at 2pm Eastern time (7pm UK time except during daylight saving time changes) and will feature date auctions and other entertainment. We will take a limited number of signups for the date auctions; contact me if you'd like to get your name on the list for the first event.

Staffing We are looking for help waiting tables! We will pay for help. Contact Mirien or Khloe (see above) if you're interested, in advance of the event.

The Raffle All visitors will be given ten raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets will be available at a cost of 1,000 gil each. You do not need to buy tickets to participate. As of last weekend, there were 18 donated prizes with a current market value of well over five million gil. Prizes includes house items, minions, rare clothing, crafted clothing (Ao Dai, Adventuring Sweater, Cashmere Ponchos), materia. Drawing will take place after the Date Auction. You do not need to be present to win; all raffle tickets will be registered to the attendee. The raffle is not open to House Amlin FC members, but is open both to guests and non-FC helpers.

The Auction Additional details and names to follow. The auction will begin at 4pm EST. We can take up to four additional submissions at this point, in advance. We will not accept any submissions on the day of the event.

House Amlin will host our Grand Opening on Sunday afternoon, March 25th, at 2-6 PM EST. We will have open dancing*, performers, a date auction, and a raffle (free tickets to all guests).
