I dont think crying over something that hit home is such a bad thing. Everyone has feels same as watching a movie and crying over it, because it touches you. I think if you do feel yourself welling up then the RP is successful specially since more raw and honest actions will come to the RP with how your character feels over the matter.

Well here goes anyway hope I get this right. Ive been on ff14 for sometime now and I have had some really lovely RP but I do want to broaden my connections and meet more people. Currently I am the officer of a jack of all trades FC which deals with deliveries of all sorts and contracts for the more shady dealings. This is part of my characters roleplay since she deals with the paperwork and finance side of things. However she does try to remain a little oblivious to what goes on with the darker side of the business just because of who she is. However I haven't been on ff14 for an extremely long time I would say almost a year now or so. At times sometimes I draw RP moments which I am trying to do more of I am often on random points in the day I am from the UK but I tend to be on at many different times. Recent things Recently Lori has been trying to leave Mist more often and go to the cities to get books and supplies herself. Though more often than not this backfires due to issues she has. She doesn't get herself into trouble she just tends to try a little too hard to be independent and not worry people (which often ends up worrying people more.) Hey everyone my name is Lori'vaen or Lori for short For some time now Ive been RPing on ff14 ad always made it clean that my character has a older brother, while before that hasn't really worried me that I haven't actually had anyone around to play said character. Lately I found myself longing for that sibling connection which I feel is clearly missing with my character since she ICly is fond of her brother. Its a long stretch and while her character and personality has grown I find myself really thinking that she needs that part of her life to be present more than ever.
