Don't forget about the moogle in the escort leve (I think near Quarrymill) who purposefully stays visible because he wants to be famous, so he needs you to escort him so he doesn't get eaten by the wild animals out there.

I have a friend who's lala plays this to his advantage. He has a speech impediment and can be somewhat eccentric, so that with him being a lala, some people underestimate him. He's actually very intelligent, and just uses that outward prejuduce to his advantage whenever he can. I've seen a mix of serious and not so serious Lalafell in my time playing so far. About half and half.

Cool. I'd be interested in meeting more people going through it. If anyone would be interested in RPing or just meeting up in game, you can usually find my character, Worren Tigre, in Southern Thanalan if I'm IC and not doing anything. Mainly in Little Ala Mhigo. Late at night I tend to have him around the Caroline Canopy or Drowning Wench, looking to meet more people. He generally stays away from Quicksand unless he's got no where else to find people to chat with.

So lately a friend and I have been RPing as monks. However, when the shadow deal came out with HW, we decided to align our characters to that sect, since they fit our characters' history more than the light. Besides the silly monk quest story about B'adguy Nunh, how do some of you all interpret it? There have been some links (Thanks Berrod) that the two of us have been using to help give us a bit of insight, since chakra really is a thing, and have been playing off that. Especially the shadow. My character's history has been very much man vs self and highly emotional, though it's not always shown except to those who work close to him. Is there anyone else, who's character is a monk or otherwise, who dabbles in the shadow sect, or Tala Chakra?
